YES THIS IS A BIG RIP OFF THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MAKE YOU DO SERVEYS ANS WRITE ESSAYS AND THE NEVER UPDATE ANYTHING ITS JUST NOT RIGHT AND THEY DONT RESPOND TO ANY EMAILS DONT WAST YOUR TIME OR MONEY
Okay so I looked at this as a gamble and signed up. I figured it was worth the try and I could always dispute the charge later if it didn't work out. First off, for all those who are saying it is a scam because it required you to do things you didn't want to do you should be quiet.
I agree they kinda lead you on by saying you can do surveys but quickly run out of them. Then you have to write research papers. I didn't want to but I did them anyways and they didn't make it too difficult on me with asking for corrections and things.
I got my points and placed my order. Here is the catch. I was contacted and told that the distribution center was out of stock (which if you look in the fine print they have that covered). They in turn refunded me my sign up fee and sent me an amazon gift card for $150. They asked for my home address and phone number which made me a bit uneasy but then later that day BOOM, I got an email with an order number from Amazon. I called Amazon who confirmed the $150 gift card was being sent to me in the mail.
So do I think anyone has a chance at getting the producte they advertise? Not really. Is it a total scam NO. I am still getting paid and the small print only promised $100 so they are actually giving me more.
Believe me or not people but simply being lazy doesn't qualify as a scam. Still worth the $150 gift card in my opinon. I"m sure they make a ton of money off people who just give up and don't wanna write the articles.
On 07/29/2019 I ordered and paid $39.99 to Electronics Center for a Sony Workstation.; I expected to receive an email from the merchant stating they had received my order and were preparing to ship it. But instead I got an email with a link to their web site Electronics-members.com. After emails back and forth for a week trying unsuccessfully to get a shipping status, I told them to cancel my order and refund my payment. Then they sent an email informing me that my payment was for a "membership fee" and was not refundable; so I canceled my "membership" so they wouldn't have a pretext to continue charging me. As they suggested, I read their Terms and Conditions which stated that I would have to earn "points" by writing letters or filling out surveys to earn what I thought I had paid for.
This operation is a scam, with the scammer presenting himself as a legitimate vendor of electronic equipment. He should be closed down immediately before he can swindle more people.
I am now in the process of writing complaints to the State Attorneys General in all 50 states in the U.S., as I am determined to make sure as many people as possible are warned about it.
Order off what looks like a legit site, then theres no phone number, no address, NOTHING but a automated response when you message them. Big scam - dont do it.
I guess I fell for this scam as well, I e-mailed them, they returned with order number and inquiry number, then after reading this I called my bank and reported the situation, they are listed as a Florida survey company. I will file complaint with NYS AG's office 4 consumer fraud tomorrow, and contact FBI as well
These mother$#*!ers ripped $40 out of my wallet and then made me attempt to fill out 100 pages worth of WRITING surveys, don't $#*!ing buy this crap appearently that's their fee and you have to get 250 points by filling out 3 pages of each survey and they won't even check it. You just sit there waiting and waiting they are $#*!ing scam bites. THEY SHOULD GO TO HELL.
Need I say more? I Ordered my ps4 paid my money never received anything. I didn't even receive so much as a response from so called customer service. Don't waste your time or money.
Ok people, before you buy anything online. There is a thing called terms of service. READ IT SO YOU DONT LOOK LIKE A MORON. It clearly says this is for a membership in a survey program. And you have to do a lot of WORK to earn any of the items. It is VERY CLEARLY STATED at the beginning of the TOS. So its not like you even had to read for more than 15 seconds to know what you was giving your money for... Learn a lesson, dont be like 75% of these people that dont even know what happened to there money LOL
Apparently, I paid for a cable bill that was over $400 AND got a plane ticket. Total scam. Was NOT happy when I checked by bank info. DO NOT trust this website.
Good news they didnt take my 80$ but I did wait a week for a confirmed order and that plain sucks and they made there site so nice that I didnt think.
I ordered a iPhone 5s and I never got it then when i checked my recent transactions, there were things that I never ordered, thankfully they were declined. Anyways never order from there.
This is a complete scam. I tried to buy a ps4 and they stole my credit card information. I tracked it and they were in Nigeria. They tried to buy marijuana with it.
Scam do not order from these people. You will not get your product. I ordered a PS4 on the November 18th. I haven't received a email a call nothing
Duping people I see. I had to dispute with my bank for the money paid so it would come back. Lesson learned.
Answer: No, you are an idiot. This is a scam. Nobody gets a playstation 4 for $40 idiot.
