I'd give it ZERO stars if I could. There is no way to earn, win, or stock pile any items. Even when you "buy" it's a very limited supply of 1 to 5 of each so you're constantly having to shell out more tokens. Nobody follows any of the challenges as far as voting. It seems like none of the voters like color. If the challenge is all about pink you would think "pink" is what you should be using. But no, boring is what wins either all white or all beige. Some of the challenges even the winners themselves say I can't even believe I won. Even after you buy and have a good number of items to decorate your next room you'll go in there and I'll have limited what you can use. And it's usually not anything you have so you have to buy more. I believe the game is designed to keep people just enough addicted to it so they want to play but that you have to spend actual money to get anywhere. It became quickly not fun to play. Especially when you try to redo a design five times and still can't get three hearts. Or when you know 100% your design is better than the one you went up against and you still lose.

This game used to be great with the old owners, but now it's horrible. It actually used to be a design game but now it's a random-generated casino game. None of the voting makes any sense at all, and 75% of the time the top prize for decorating a room is less than you are forced to spend to create the room. If you dare to use any colors other than white or beige, you'll automatically be sent directly to the bottom, so all the rooms either look exactly alike, or like they were designed by colorblind four years old coming down from a sugar high. These two --beige and wtf -- will "randomly" be placed 1-3 while designs that look good and look like their designers spent actual time and effort will be in the bottom 6.
All this game cares about is getting you to send them more and more money. It's such a blatant money grab that it borders on the edge of obscene.

I bought items with my money. They took them away because I didn't have enough "points" to up my level. Fraud and theft! And we can't do anything about it?

The voting is a major issue for a LOT of players. Classing purple walls and hot pink countertops should never win against an elegantly put together room but it happens. Is it voters not caring and clicking all bottom or top options, or is something more nefarious going on? Either way, it needs a total reimagination because it's not working. You can win 1st place or 2nd or 3rd and win ZERO unlocks over and over. When you finally do unlock a new item its the worst most disgusting new item that you will never ever use. I used to get excited when I would win, now, it only upsets me. Most often, I unlock nothing, but when I do it's always the least appealing item that sits in my inventory forever. I have been playing for YEARS and I still have unlocks from when I first started. It's ridiculous and unacceptable. The amount of tokens needed to unlock new items is ridiculous compared to how long it takes you to earn them or how much they cost to purchase. You also don't get to choose what you unlock so even if you use tokens you will ALWAYS get the ugliest items first. The developers are getting greedy, more and more every year. They never listen to their players suggestions because it's been the same problems since the beginning. Of all the decor games out there though, this is the most affordable. Which is why I rated 3 stars instead of 1.

I use to think this game was fun. But since I've advanced it seems to be freezing and I lose the design I just did! So it deletes everything, you even lose your coins and have to start over! Twice I had to purchase coins to do the same design over! Rip off! And where do you go to contact the company about this matter? I'm done with this game constantly freezing and losing my previous design and then having to make a purchase! I want a refund and my designs back!

I used to love this game, played with my family and friends all the time and spent money ever month which I didn't mind doing. BUT NOW it's like an endless cycle of NEVER getting anywhere but frustrated‼ I will never understand the human condition of GREED⁉Seriously HOW MUCH MONEY do people need to make before they have to up the ante again, and again and again….⁉

I have designed 2870 rooms. I liked it at first BUT NOW the cost is extremely high and unacceptable. Plus I have gotten charged 3x for an item I had but they claim I had zero. So I decided to go through every transaction and items I purchased which is 3529 items. As of today it is over $350.00! Overcharged. I refuse to be manipulated. If Redecor thinks we don't realize this illegal practice well my attorney recommends I get overcharged back if not See you in court.

Redecor started out as a very fun game; however, over the ears the rules have changed, the cost of items has been jacked up, and voting is a sham. The game play is the best out there for a design game, but it's not worth what you have to spend to keep playing. These days there are better options out there for interior design games.

Used to be a fun game, very realistic, no annoying ads. Now it's all about money. You can't play if you don't buy a season pass because money is never enough. You need about ******* coins to submit a design and only get about 6000 on average as a reward. Constantly glitching and stopping. They've given me free X2 XP for an hour and then the game stopped working so I couldn't use it. It keeps saying it has a technical issue. I've paid for a season pass as well and I can't use it and of course they won't give you a refund since it's their fault you couldn't submit designs and keep your status. All they care about is take your money and half the time the game has technical issues. Hustlers!

Very unfair in voting (which is done by bots — not other players). There is no way to get ahead so you can keep playing. Your real money just goes to this $6M company who are taking your money. Results on designs are randomly selected within minutes (you can check the status of your design by clicking on "in voting" and then click on each design submitted. I purposely decorated a hideous design (pictured) and came in 5th place. Try it. $348,000 in coins for $19.99 and you'll be lucky to decorate 5-7 designs. Poof! You just lost $19.99

I feel so much better after reading some of the reviews posted here. I have used the ReDecor app for a few years now. I was on and then stopped. Then I decided to start up again and discovered that I had lost everything that I had purchased prior so I had to start over. 🤬I pride myself in my ability and talent to make a beautiful design. After reading these reviews, it makes so much sense. When I am buying and spending I win for the most part. When I don't I lose, I'm pretty sure that the voting is done by bots and our individual votes mean nothing. I haven't ever seen an app that is so expensive. It is astonishingly expensive actually! If you just do it a few times, just to have fun or to pass some time it is fine. If you want to be competitive, it's going to cost you! So if you want a masterpiece painting it will cost you approximately $25 for one use!😳
Oh, and the site freezes constantly!

While purchasing often, I had consistent multiple wins and rewards. When I reduced purchases, rarely placed to win. Great disappointment.

Playing this game can be frustrating. It is difficult to level up because you either need to spend so much of your time playing and most people don't have enough time on their hands, or you need to spend lots of actual money which most can't afford and are thankfully smart enough anyway to avoid the traps. Also, the limited choices we are given for some designs is stupid because the available items don't go together and so you either make a very ugly design knowing you won't win and what's the point in that?, using up your supplies and earned items for nothing, or you don't participate in that particular design challenge. The prizes we get for wins are usually ugly materials we would never choose to buy with either our fake money or real money. Sometimes I just get fed up and stop playing for weeks at a time and then eventually go back to it until I'm p***** off again.

The app consistently becomes froze.

So I just got kicked off of Redecor because I won't give my age? Besides all of the new tasks to hero ones status, now I don't qualify as a gamer if I don't give up personal information? I'd like to see the community weigh in on another layer of payment (ie personal) we need to give up to participate. Anyone else fed up with the high price asked?

Honestly the 14 day to meet your status instead of 30 is another money grabber or addiction trigger! If you have a life your a looser

I know I'm a good player. I often place 1st-3rd. Still, some of the most HIDEOUS, mismatched, juvenile, and clashing colors' submissions win and it's very clear winning is not fair OFTEN and every time that happens I want to quit (I quit for two years because of that!)

You cannot get far before Redecor wants you to commit to at least $20/week for token purchases. App can force you to THINK you MUST buy tokens. Nope. Scam. Easy to get addicted. Beware. I will not be suckered like this. Try another site.

This is a fun game but there is something tricky about the journal designs and the way the voting is done. I see horrible designs winning against really good ones...makes no sense. Also their Facebook page is a joke. They don't believe in freedom of speech, even mind constructive criticism or anything posted that doesn't glorify their page, is removed.
