The only positive thing I can say is that the game is very realistic and the Season Pass is a good deal at $4.99(US.) Everything goes downhill from there. I started playing in 3/21. The original developer Reworks own the game then and many players played for free, but I was not one of them. Was Reworks perfect…no they were not, but their Customer Support was much better and by the time they handed the game to the new owners, Playtika, most of the bugs in app were gone. Once Playtika took is when everything went to hell in a hand basket. The algorithms changed and it became apparent the game was rigged in favor of those that spent money, big money. The app also developed more bugs, more than it had with Reworks. Players also felt the voting was sham, but it became more obvious with Playtika. Customer support didn't always resolve some of the issues when a reward didn't tabulate a reward, but they were way more generous when they did and is a lot more frequent as well. When Playtika first took over we were noticing that when we closed out a design that a token was missing. If you were supposed to get 4, you only got 3. I contacted customer support and there response was that they were aware of the issue but could not guarantee that they would reimburse me. No big surprise I never got reimbursed. A proactive customer support would have reimbursed everyone who complained, a great one would reimbursed/given 50, a 100 or maybe even more tokens to everyone, but of course they didn't. I have had the app steal a design item and not get reimbursed. This would happen when I was designing and going back and forth between items and I would go back and my item wouldn't be there, and ironically I was down to it be the last one in my inventory. This happened many times, but I only complained once recently and of course nothing ever happened. I had the same thing happen with contest rewards that never received, complained and nothing happened or I would get some "proof" that I did receive, but it never tabulated. They have a lot pop ups that sometimes interferes with being able to see the tabulations. Is this intentional or just incompetent designing?!? Speaking of pop ups, they have scads of pop ups encouraging you to purchase tokens/coins, gold or bundles. I would buy my stuff when there was sale or if a bundle looked like a good deal. Some bundles were added with plus so many items, and never bought those because they weren't worth to me. When Playtika rolled out their new version of the game in November 2022 I liked some of the new features. I liked that gold became the only thing to purchase design items as it made it much easier to design rooms because everything was available without having to question should I use gold or not to purchase an item I wanted to use. I also liked that they are always running specials to buy gold and/tokens. The constant pop ups are annoying and some "deals" are better than others but under the old system you had to wait for a holiday/celebration for the deals. They also appear to adding more new content. It is with the scamming, ethics, rigging, greed and lack of customer support that ultimately killed my desire to play the and uninstall the app. In November 2022 I spent over $100(US) and I went from level 8 to 10. I was winning left and right, more than I ever had…and I won pretty frequently before, but nothing like this consistently. The next month in December I did not keep my level 10 and went down to 9. It took 2-3 months to gain back the level 10. In May I chose not spend any money except for the season pass and I lost level 10 by one win. The game is rigged in favor of those that spend money…pure and simple. With Reworks you would a time period where were you were winning and time period where you winning significantly less. That was due to the algorithms. During the phase of winning less I always noticed winning more Duels. Those are designs where you compete against another designer(these are old designs, which I believe are from inactive players.) Duels are totally rigged now, as they were before, more blatant imo. As an ending note when I have referred to "we" I used to belong to a player Facebook Group. So, if you want to spend a lot of money and be frustrated because your beautiful and best designs aren't winning because others are out spending you and/or are using items from previous seasons(I think previous seasons should be available to purchase)that you are unable to purchase, be my guest, but dear reader, you have been warned the app is buggy, will take from you and customer support doesn't care, not one iota.

It is true that once they changed the game format, they stole many items that we had paid to unlock and locked them again. Also, they converted our items to less tokens and cash but this was not as bad as the items they took back. A week ago or so I was on Redecor and it had taken me a very long time to earn enough tokens to finally unlock one item. I was very aware of the number I had which was about 230 tokens. I then started to look for the item I had waited to unlock. I found the item and when I looked back my hard-earned tokens were down to about 150 or so! THEY JUST DISAPPEARED! I immediately went to the "Redecor Support" section and "Contact Support" and sent them a message telling them exactly what happened. I told them about 80 points had just disappeared right before my eyes and obviously I couldn't have unlocked an item as there are no items to unlock for that amount and just fyi you have to confirm a purchase. You can't just accidentally click on it. I got back a stock reply disguised with the name of a support person asking for all kinds of irrelevant information like pictures of the items in question. Obviously, there were not pictures involved with this. I immediately replied and said this, and they then sent the exact same reply the next day. I replied again saying this and asking them to please return the tokens I had earned that were stolen out of my account. I received another reply a couple of days later saying I had unlocked an item and told me what it was. It was an item that was well over the 80 points that I had missing and I told them this and that I had NOT unlocked an item. Again, I watched the 80 points disappear. There was no answer.
I have long suspected that many items and especially coins and tokens had disappeared regularly but I didn't write anything down or take pictures unfortunately. It is true that this game is a lot of fun if you like home décor but I recommend that you take pictures or screenshots of your items regularly and check to make sure they are not stealing them. I will definitely be doing this. Since this new company came in, they have a history of financial greed, but I'm horrified that they would resort to theft! I wrote this review on their Facebook page last night and it was never posted or if it was later, it was deleted and today the ability to see Reviews are gone. But you can see how low the overall reviews are and this is why among even more reasons. I will continue to pursue this until they return my tokens.
Read legitimate reviews first.
