So, I was intrigued by this site to find out who he was. Paid the 3 bucks just to have my aching heart torn out (again). WASTE. Dont give in for anything!
I was looking for vehicle information for my nephew and it showed that there was NO information for him, including vehicle information.
This is a bait, bait and then fail to deliver service. Learn from my mistake/stupidity.
I needed ownership information on a vehicle that I had a plate number for. Record Finder reeled me in with an entry level discounted membership to get a "report." I sign up and fork over the money, only to get the report which has no useful information in it. That's followed up with an opportunity for a "premium report" for about $10.00 more. The second hook is set, and I'm reeled in again. The so called premium report is a complete dud and waste of my time and money. Useless and no refund.
After paying a $2.95 fee for a 5 day unlimited membership the gotcha is that if you want to view a report there is an additional $18.00 fee. There should be a zero star rating
Paid a fee to sign up and check history of a vehicle and after they took my money, the search result gave me only the list of car features, make and model, color and standard equipment! Then pop up said pay another $$$$ to get more info. TOTAL SCAM
Need the name of a car owner whose vehicle has been parked for days in front of our house for days.
Paid - got license plate and vehicle info, which I had already supplied.
Do not use this service. They promise and don't deliver. Scam.
They use the 2 dollars as bait and then make you pay for premium files, guess all files are premium, then looking for a police report and lady in customer service says they don't have the police report, but hey Is listed like if you do offer it! TOTAL SCAM! Lies...
I was looking for the owner of a car. I gave the license plate number and all I got was general info on the car itself. Useless. I already knew what kind of car it was. Waste of money. Save your money. The $2.95 is just to get you to the website so they can sell you other services.
States you will get owner info on tag. Nope. Make and model with VIN pretty much all you get with useless information about generic items like power window or lock. Joke of a site.
Useless service. Didn't provide anything I was looking for. Simple records such as marriage and divorce. After I purchased this site's services with no results, my husband found what we were trying to locate for free some place else. And they still refuse to refund my money when I reported it. Thanks for nothing! They are a joke! Go elsewhere and don't waste your time or money!
The 2.95 that you pay is only a bait! Once you log in all the info the promised you that you would be able to acces is blocked UNLESS you pay a premium fee! And seeing how dishonest the website is it probably doesn't give you any info after you pay premium either. The woman who I spoke to was completely careless rude and unprofessional and provided 0 customer service! Customers BEWARE!
This site is useless for license plate lookups. It had NO info on one of my personal vehicles and only info 2 owners back on the other. Zero info for what I needed.
Said it could tell name of owner blah blah blah... only had car info which I had. Only thing giving them a 2nd star was they were very polite on the phone and cancelled my account and waived the $2.95 fee.
This site provides extremely limited information in their reports. L did not find anything useful in my search. What a waste of money!
I fully agree with Colin T's comments. I contacted this website which they said was available for the $2.95. However, when I accessed the website with my login credentials no such report was available in the search area. I was led to believe my report would be available for review for 5 days and THEN I would be charged $24.95 per month for continued membership. I immediately cancelled when I looked at the website and could not find what I was looking for. I sent them feedback also. I did not receive a confirmation that my account had been closed. I also had problems with initial login. Do not be a sucker like me.
For $2.95 this website teases you into thinking you will get your driving record report, (or whatever [one would think private information] else you might be searching for), then wants almost $25.00 to actually look at the report once you've done the search (there may be nothing on the report but you still have to pay to find that out). So essentially the $2.95 allows you to enter some data in some fields and hit enter with expectation your will get what you are looking for but what it really boils down to is a way for the website to extort $2.95 out of every dummy like myself. Don't waste your money here. If your serious about doing a background search on someone or something else like trying to find out what moving violations appear on your driving record, then may I suggest doing some research on websites/companies that specialize in these matters. They are out there but they are also not cheap. Still better than tossing $2.95 into the proverbial fire.
