I am beyond furious with Realflesh Masks (www.realfleshmasks.com). My order ID is 6337, and I paid a staggering $1419! On September 25,2023, I placed an order for a custom mask, which I was told would be ready to ship within 9 weeks due to the added hair elements. Fast forward to February 29,2024, the mask finally arrived at customs. However, it never made its way to me.
I reached out to Realflesh Masks via email, Instagram, and their contact form countless times. On May 23,2024, they assured me they would resend the mask, but when I asked for the tracking number, they completely stopped responding. Today is August 16,2024, and I still have not received the mask, a tracking number, or a refund. I continue to message them on Instagram and email, but I am being completely ignored!
They don't even have a contact phone number! This is nothing short of theft and absolutely appalling customer service. Stay far, far away from this company!
First looks very nice. However this mask is to thin as you will see in the picture I have compared their mask to another company. When the mask did rip asked of they would repair it nothing! So repairing it myself with no help from this company. Never buy better made mask for better prices at different companies!
I bought from them and shipped to my Italy address, it never came, and when i complained, they showed me the tracking code, and said it was returned back to them, and they will resend again, and i never heard from them again, they do not respond to my email, so pathetic, i lost over 1,000 euro for nothing, scam alert
I placed my order before reading the reviews on here and it had me a little worried. After the allotted 7 weeks I had yet to hear anything. I contacted them via email and got a response within an hour. They were really backed up due to a record selling month and I confirmed this with their Facebook post that they put up before I contacted them. A few days later I got the shipping notification that a label was created. It took a week or so longer for the package to get to the post office but Ian kept me updated and notified me of this. The package was delivered a week after that. The mask was perfect and I am unbelievably satisfied with it. Ian was super helpful and very responsive to emails. Would definitely use Real Flesh again. They have earned my appreciation and satisfaction.
I ordered a mask 19 weeks ago, first they said it was eight weeks then 10 then 12, then he made excuses about everybody being on vacation so it would be prolonged... I finally had to call my credit card company and file a claim. Horrible business, scam artist. This guy is a joke.
I asked a question on their facebook about how long it usualy takes for the masks to arrive and about the other reviews on this site cause I have seen a lot of people who have been complaining about this but first he goes on to not take my question serious at all and then he completely ignores me. So glad I didn't order from this guy he treats his customers like they are annoying little kids or something.
I wish I had read reviews before ordering a $599 mask from them. They promised me to have my mask ready in less than 5 weeks, however, it's week 7 and I still haven't received my mask. There is 0 communication from their side. They are ignoring my calls, emails, DMs. Realfleshmasks.com is a scam.
Ordered a mask, didn't arrive within time stated plus two weeks. When I ask for an update he cancelled my order with no update and I didn't get a full refund. He must make a lot from restocking fees for masks he probably didn't even make. Canadian Revenue Service should have a look at his books.
I think most people get upset at the length of time it takes to get the mask. And, even I will admit their communication is not very customer friendly. However, i now own several masks from several of the top companies. The two I got from Realflesh are the best. Movement and fit is amazing. I am using one in a show called "Film Noir Theater" it plays on Roku on INC TV, TEN TV, Blue Mermaid TV. Here are a couple of promos. Also, keep in mind these shots are screen caps not staged shots. So, that gives you an idea of how good it looks. People like the character and it is mainly because the mask gives him realism. As I said, if you expect the mask in a month you will be disappointed. But, these are true works of art so allow time. You will be happy with the result. The mask I used for "Film Noir" is the Neighbor. I am getting ready to buy the Mobster for a new character. We are in production now on "Frankenstories" using the Realflesh Creature.
For the first time I ordered in this store and was very pleasantly surprised. The price of the positions of interest to me is much lower than in other stores. Immediately after ordering they called me back to clarify details, a couple of hours later the order was already sent. Everything is very polite, accurate and high quality. A day later I received my order.
Ordered Aug 8th still no mask and he stopped responding as he is a scam artist. Every chance I get I will leave a review and I have contacted the better business bureau. Wasnt in time for Halloween and he promised me that. Nothing good to say and he is rude as hell. Its nov 14 th and Im waiting Ian. No worries chargeback completed and you are a terrible business owner and a thief sir. Mask said shipped on 16 of oct and well lets just say he created a label to shut me up. Then never sent.
He is ripping people off. You can buy the mask from a Chinese factory for cheaper. The photo I have attached is through another 3rd party seller that is selling the same mask for 37$ USD when he is charging $549.00 USD. The reason it takes so long for him to ship to you is because he places the order in China and then ships it to you when he gets it.
After reading the reviews here, I nervously took a chance and order The Nightmare mask. The transaction could not have went any smoother. I paid, and Realflesh delivered the mask in the quoted time frame. The mask is amazing and I can't wait to wear it to 80's fest and for Halloween. They may have had issues in the past, but it looks like they have been ironed out and are running smoothly now.
It took a while to receive my mask. There was zero communication on their part. No update, etc. I ordered one without hair, so it would be quicker. I got it and it was too heavy. I couldn't breath. I asked to return it and I was told they don't take back 'used' masks. B. s. Seems like their too busy riding around in their Hummers to care about their customers.
I asked them a simple question via email regarding payment options for a $1513 mask. They gave me a extremely vague and short answer, basically stating that they have no idea what kind of payments they accept and left it at that, I guess they are too lazy to answer a question or provide any help, cool I'll take my money somewhere else.
I find only a site with the same options from 2014. I concern myself with whether this is a company or aftermath of one. Nothing new as far as updating there selections? For the kind of money put in I would like to know they are currently a functionally running business.
I ordered my mask from realflesh 10 weeks ago and Ian said it was shipped but he could not provide any proof of the shipment. I will update you if the mask arrives.
This company sucks. Maybe they do good products, I couldn't tell you. I ordered a mask in July, it is now November and I have yet to receive the mask and the merchant is no longer returning my messages.
I have 7 silicone mask made by professional mask makers,, I bought the Relic mask, fooled so many people, one of my favorites out of the 7. This company does what they claim, and they stand by it.
I ordered from them and paid thousands of dollars and got nothing. After they got my money they stopped replying to my emails. Someone has to stop this man.
