Reading Plus

If you actually enjoy this app you are on a road to depression or you are blatantly a nerd, wait no just a f***ing sack of **** that no one loves. It is soooo bad and so poorly made, this is the reason 911 happened, 2.8 trillion dollars lost, I don't think so, reading plus becoming public was the reason. It should have never been released, hegarty maths is better anyway

Reading plus is torture for all children. Who wants to dedicate 2 hours of their life to reading boring books that A) you wont ever read again and B) that will never benefit you ever again. I would understand the vocabulary lessons as they do educate people with new words but I READING is just vile. Every child could be enjoying those 2 hours of their lives in multiple different ways. The idea that children are punished for incompletion just justifies my argument. Imagine spending hours on end to get 5 lessons above 80%. What about the mentally challenged that have to do 13 lessons just to get 5 green and the rest below. This is discriminatory and horrendous. This useless program forces children to sleep late at night so that they don't upset their teachers that assign this.
I hope I READING gets shut down and deleted from the face of this earth.

Reading plus should be banned by the Geneva convention. Hitler didn't even use this app. It is so horrible and so boring i would rather stick my iPad up my arse. The teacher gave me holiday detention and removed my Christmas because i read a real book instead of reading plus's bullsh*t. The teacher then held me hostage along with 2 other kids my age like the Iranian hostage crisis. She was given a day off work.

Whenever I use this app I never feel excited or happy because the website stays the same every single day. The only change to it is the profile pictures. Yet they look like they haven't been updated since the early 2000's. In my class, we have these challenges for ReadingPlus and it's the only thing that keeps me from not doing. It had potential and I could see but they never really took notice into it and tried to change. I personally think that they should change the books. They're all outdated and it's easy to fall off track due to the lack of dialogue and action, some of the questions I find as useless and don't really get to the point of story. Vocabulary is even worse. I think that it could be easily fixed, but they dont really go into it. As for teachers dont understand having to sit infront of the computer watching words move from one to the other. It doesn't deserve a 5 stars. Very poorly thought of and expressed to children

1. It literally doesn't teach us anything, it is used for children that LITERALLY do not know how to read. 2. It's also really annoying to do because it just piles on top of the homework we get from 4-6 periods every week, if there was one see-reader per week and 5 vocabs I would not care at all but it's like 4 see-readers and 3 vocabs. If you don't know how to read, I'll gladly tell you to do reading plus, but I already know how to read. 3. So what really is the point in reading plus then? It is used to "teach" kids from grades 6-8 about reading and vocabulary, but if I already know my vocabulary and how to read, why would I need it? This is why reading plus should just give up.

Coming from a student, reading plus is horrible. The vocabulary section needs review and the stories are bland, uninteresting, and old. First off, the vocabulary is rigged in a sense. The words they give you can have multiple meanings, and sometimes there appear to be two answers, but only one is correct. On top of this, the stories also have major flaws. Most of the stories are on useless information and are written by people who cant describe the topics well. The stories provide no interest to the reader, and overall the whole site makes my friends mourn about reading, not excited for it. Reading used to be my favorite activity, but because of reading plus, it seems to be the opposite now.

This product is trash and boring and physically comparable to death strychnine. Whichever idiot made this can die. They can improve this by letting my tactical bomber into their office or prison or where ever they keep their prisoners

Man, I totally hate Reading Plus, bro! It's the worst, you know? It didn't do squat to help me with my reading skills. Instead, it just made me despise reading even more. Like, seriously, what's the point, right? It's such a letdown when something that's supposed to help ends up making things worse. But hey, I won't let it bring me down. I'll find my own way to enjoy reading again, without the help of that lame program! I just can't do it especially with the test and all the lessons to do I have to do 6 a week! I mean and I can't even do it at home I mean what kind of app is this?! I hate reading so much because of this app and I have to do it at school too, I just wish that I enjoyed reading :/

They say we have to "Read at our own pace" but then they decide to hate us for doing as they say! Reading Plus Sucks! Please stop using Reading Plus and use something else! Reading Plus, more like garbage!

Reading Plus is the most $#*!ing horrible software I've ever used. It's made me want to kill myself by hanging myself while chewing cyanide pills flying into the Shard because the Twin Towers are already taken by the son of a $#*! Bin Laden. My advice is to kys before you realise the hell of $#*!ing reading plus. I hated doing it but now I'm six feet deep and happier than ever. To the owner of reading plus I will $#*!ing haunt you and drag you by the ankles down your stairs to hell because Satan himself has a bounty on you. Never. Use. Reading. Plus.

It has been years since I completed a reading plus assignment, but ever since I started using the program (mandatorily in school), looking at words on a page has never been harder. I'm now in college and I am miserable reading my textbooks because I can barely focus on a single sentence I am trying to read without having to underline or highlight as I go through- word by word. I never had this issue before going through reading plus. I shame any school program that forces perfectly good readers to go through this.

I'm named Alexander, I'm 30 years old, and my son, Johny, uses reading plus. I have to admit that this is the worst software I've ever come across in my thirty years of living in England. Delete this intolerable and completely ludicrous software, I almost lost my Johny boy. One day, my Johny was using Reading Plus and had completed his 16 courses. He was heading upstairs when he suddenly collapsed due to stress and anxiety and he smashed his head on the stairs. He has been in a coma for two months I nearly lost my little Johny he is only 9.

This program does not even help you with reading comprehension it just makes you want to throw your computer at the wall and burn it to the ground. Also studies have shown that reading plus doesn't even help you read faster.

I am on level k and I just needed one more story to finish the combo and move on to the next level and I got a 78% on it. This is the stupidest thing ever because I have a power from hard work but I can't use it because it's the last combo! And then the story I did before that is now erased and I have to do two more stories to finish the level! This entire process is stressful and unnecessary. I am pretty smart and have all A's, but this is just stupid.

This makes me want not want to read. No one likes this platform, including teachers! Many, MANY students get behind on their work for unrelated issues, and the platform makes it that it's impossible to catch up. This is hurting our school systems across the nation and making reading a chore for many students.

Reading plus is the worst thing ever. Reading plus takes to much of my life. Reading plus took away all my bonus points. My teacher says it is going to help me grow in the future. I hate Reading Plus so much. Reading plus makes me lose a bunch of my brain cells. This is start up trash. I was doing reading plus when i was at a kid's birthday party. I starting a strike for reading plus. The pigeon is reading plus and the dog is me.

If were'e being honest this website is not the greatest for busy, young, kids/teens who are struggling with enough work as it is. I'm in 7th grade and can tell you this doesn't work in my experience and would rather read a book and do a book report after.
