The new automatic sign on to e bates is awesome. I would often forget to use it, even though I had a post-it-note with EBATES on it on my desk, I often overlooked it. Now I don't miss my rebate. I love it. Thanks for this new feature.
I have never had a problem with Ebates, in fact they solved a problem for me wherein I had two emails and two accounts. One email to customer service and the accounts were combined in less than half a day
I had purchased a pair of glasses; however, I had to send them back because they were giving me a headache. I had to send them back and get another pair. If anyone knows prescription eyewear is expensive. Needless to say, I sent them back and Ebates would not give me my % of the money. The eyewear cost over 700.00 dollars. I contacted them and they told me too bad. I am an online shopper and I was disappointed by the lack of customer service.
I had a balance cash back $44. After a few days it just disappeared and it shows me my balance $0. I Send them email with all informations and got an answer to send it again and again. It is just another internet garbage. Avoid it.
I was processing an order through the Ebates app when the app frozen and didn't log my shopping trip or account for my purchase. Ebates customer service was very quick in responding to my issue and gave me credit for my purchase.
I've been using Ebates for a year or so, I've never had a problem getting my % from a shopping trip. If I shop and don't see the $ I can send a request with the shopping trip info & they credit it without an issues. I use Ebates whenever I can! The best part it's FREE!
Awesome experience receiving my missing cash back. Support staff responded within 10 minutes and deposited my missing cash back on three separate orders, which was the store's omission.

Very good company period. Excellent website very colorful and vivid Web pages, good quality products and millions to choose from. Products arrives on time and in excellent condition. Customer service was just as good, understanding and extremely helpful. Rokuten is by far one of the best websites to order from. Rokuten is like Japan's version of amazon or so they say. The first time I ordered from buy.com, everything was cool. I placed my order, sent them a check, they sent me my stuff, and all was well. The second time I ordered, I placed my order, sent my check, waited for weeks... only to receive an email stating my order had been cancelled. No reason was given for this. I received my bank statement... the check I sent cleared the bank. They kept my money but sent me nothing. I had to call for my refund. I never did find out why my order was cancelled. I have never ordered from them again and will stick to Amazon.
Don't like it at all I sign up to get a $10 gift card n order some toms shoes to get 10% cash back got my shoes n still no cash back... I think is all bs n buy the way where's your phone number to contact customer service uuummmm.
I took too long to rate my experience through my email - sorry. I contacted ebates because the email address on my account had changed. I was using a work address but left the firm and didn't want them alerted every time I used the site. I was unable to make the change myself because I had to click a link in the email and I no longer had access to the email address, so it was a vicious circle! I contacted customer service and Keisha corrected the email information in my account and then sent me a confirmation email stating that my account had been updated - all within 2-3 hrs. (Anyone who has done this with other sites will understand how quick the turnaround time was - usually it takes up to 2 + days to get that information corrected!) Thank you, Keisha!
It would be your loss to not take advantage of this service. Had some issues, but was corrected in a timely manner. Just follow the directions. I have already received $ into my paypal account in the past and am looking forward to more. I always look forward to the DAILY DOUBLE CASH REWARDS... it really does pay to shop online
I had a problem getting cash back, but they got back to me quickly after I sent in a ticket. They were specific in what they needed from me and I was happy to comply. Once that was settled, they fixed the issue for me.
All in all, they were really professional and kind as they helped me solve this problem.
I am new to Ebates and fairly new to the Internet ordering fad(I know haha) so to say I'm not tech savvy would be a horrible understatement! I had made a few purchases and unknowingly browsed right out of my Ebates account and just kept on shopping. Once I realized that I had not linked my account properly I sent Ebates an email with a pic of my orders. As a super sweet courtesy for my being not so smart, Ebates helped me get all the info where it needed to be in order to receive the maximum points and it took no time at all for me due to the kind and helpful folks at Ebates! The customer service is impeccable and I'm so glad that my cousin told me about them. Please take advantage of the awesome savings and cash Bach options with Ebatrs if u are not already a member. Well people do not believe on ebates coz they riff you off. I didn't get my check for a long time they said this month or last month what ever. But I said I didn't get my check after I bought a lot of things
I have had many experiences with ebates customer service and they have always been helpful, quick to respond and always willing to help. I have had so many companies with poor customer service lately and ebates is so refreshing and everything a company should be. I speak highly of ebates to everyone. Their customer service is 5 stars plus!
I received my Big Fat Check and put it in a drawer. I forgot about it until the next one arrived. The bank wouldn't cash the older check, so I contacted Ebates. They were so nice! Apparently this happens to people and they were right on top of fixing it by issuing me a new check. Thank you, Ebates!

Answer: I can't answer about the owner ripping people off. All I know is I have ordered from Rakuten numerous times and have nothing but praise for them. I haven't read the bad reviews but I've gotten nothing but good products.
