Return hassle

They do not honor their satisfaction guarantee, double charged shipping, and a restock fee. For a product that didn't work! When all was said and done, it cost me more than the initial purchase!

No Customer Service

I ordered several items from the website. The package was shipped the next day and arrived quickly. That is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. One of the items arrived damaged/defective. I notified RadioFence and was told to contact the manufacturer for warranty. I should have been offered an exchange so I had a working item and they could deal with warrantying the faulty item they sent me. There was no effort whatsoever to provide any customer service. I'll be ordering from Amazon from now on. At least I can return defective items with them.

I ordered a product from RadioFence.com, and they told me,"Your card cannot be charged at this time", but there was a charge already on my account when I checked online. So I called my card service. They said, "That sounds alarming!", and suggested I cancel my card.

Lousy Customer Service

Despite the negative reviewed I read about RadioFence.com online, I still decided to place an order with them because they had an item listed on their web site that was not available anywhere else.

I placed the order and on the following day they emailed me saying that they don't have the item I ordered available which makes me wonder why they had it listed for sale on their web site in the first place, allowing me to proceed all the way through the checkout process. They informed me that they can either keep my item on backorder for when it arrives or send me the same item in a different color.

I asked them if they would be willing to offer a small discount on a different color since it would not be what I ordered to which they refused. In their response, they also addressed me by the wrong name which I found rude and unprofessional.

Eight days later I received an automated email saying that my order was cancelled with no explanation as to why and they did not have the common courtesy to follow up with an email or phone call to elaborate on their automated cancellation message. I ended up having to call them to find out the reason.

This is the first time I've ever placed an order with RadioFence.com and after this terrible first impression, it will most certainly be the last.

We have an orange Tabby who adopted us by coming in through the dog door despite our German Shepherd (we have 2 other indoor cats so the dog just ignored the new one.) However we have been keeping the dog door closed as we were afraid he would go out the same way. The collar has worked great and now Tabby stays away from the dog door. My mistake was I set the collar for the highest level and saw him get shocked once. He went about 2 feet in the air before he ran. Now at level 2. Now the cat stays away from the dog door and the adjustment on the control box is great. It is next to the dog door set to 2 feet which is about all we need.

PetSafe invisible fence
February 10, 2018

Review for Customer Service(or lack of it) as I cant finish installing my Fence yet. The power supply(Class 2 Transformer) was dead right out of the box. I tested on other circuits known to be good-no output. Emailed twice to get a replacement-NO RESPONSE AFTER OVER 2 WEEKS
Im now waiting for one I ordered from 3rd party

I purchased an electronic dog door and the site stated free shipping. When I received the door it did not fit so I intended to return it and get a larger size. I received "A" refund but not "MY" refund. What I was credited back to my credit card was less than what I paid. I called the company and asked where the remainder of my refund was and I was told that if you send an item back to them and are not doing an exchange then they charge you for the shipping it costs to send the item to you. WAIT! I thought their web stated "FREE SHIPPING?" I returned the item within 2 days of receiving it and I paid for the return shipment so why are they charging me for shipment? Stay away from this shady company. I will now be purchasing from a reputable buyer such as Amazon. It may cost a little more but at lest I know I am not getting bamboozled.

Purchased an in ground fence system from Radiofence.com 7/2014. Three months in, collar came off my dog and was lost, so I contacted them them to purchase a replacement. The person on the phone said the model I bought had been discontinued. No compatible replacement collars available from them. When I asked how long ago they had been discontinued RadioFence rep said "about 6 weeks ago." Turns out the manufacturer discontinued the product in January of 2014, so by the time I purchased, it was already on the way out.
Had I known this was a discontinued product and not compatible with similar setups I would have stayed away, hands down. I guess keeping customers informed is not how these guys make a sale. Be warned.

This site offered an automatic feeder at the lowest price compared to competitor sites. I never heard of it before but saw it was a trusted site on Google so I went ahead and ordered and received the product quickly and without any issues. I would use them again.

My dog has been barking like crazy every since we moved into our new home. He was fine before until being exposed to a new environment. I never liked bark collars and thought they were the worst thing you could do to a dog. I found a bark collar on radiofence that was perfect. It has the combination of being able vibrate or shock them. I initially did do a few shocks when my dog barked, but very soon afterwards I could just vibrate him instead of shocking and it had the same effect. Within 1 month he completely stopped barking. Great product and company.
