I was terrified to order online after reading all of the bad reviews. They were the only place that had the specific Vans I wanted so I just went for it. So glad I did. Their standard shipping only took 2 days. I got my order within 48 hours after ordering and everything was correct. I will definitely order from them again.

I will never shop here again. I ordered my son some boots. When the boots arrived, the box was torn up and the shoes had dirt and scuff marks on them like the company sent him some previously worn shoes.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy shoes off their website. They will send you dirty used shoes.

I just had the worst experience at Rack Room Shoes at the Delray Beach location. I was trying on four different shoes, which I was planning on purchasing I had been in the store for actually 40 minutes not one person came up to me, which was fine, so I was the one making the decisions, however to my surprise, the store lead her name is Tanya came up to me and said, "is this your mess?" I replied excuse me as I was shocked and embarrassed as others were in the store. I told her I am deciding on a few to leave all that there, and she said, do you expect me to clean up after you, you're a grown $#*! woman. I was on the way by this car. How dare she say that to a customer or to anybody for that matter. I said to her first I would've been putting away what I didn't purchase. However, I was planning on pretty much purchasing everything I tried on, and if I didn't, it is your job to clean up the store bottom line I said I am all set here and you can pick up the shoes that I will no longer practice and I will be contacting your Manager on this matter. I find this view is important for shoe rack, room, senior management as this woman is a representation of your location and your brand, and it also is helpful for many others who potentially they want to shop and not be degraded and humiliated.

Tip for consumers:
I shared my feedback in the review it would be nice, but I want to reach back out to me. I will not be going into this location or any if that woman is in there I do not want to see her again.

I'm always happy with my rack room purchases. Great value. The stores can be a bit messy but no worse than TJX. I recommend you give them a try.

I work in customer service, in a call center and do live chat. I get how customers can be nasty.
I was provided with the general message "someone will be with you soon, provide an explanation for how we can help" so I attached a screen shot of my PayPal charge and explained there is no order in my account, nor an email confirmation from Rack Room so I'd like to figure out what is happening.
Right out of the gate "Patrick" was nasty, complaining that the info I provided him "doesn't help" him in the slightest. No hello, no how can I help. Just downright nasty. When I asked if I could be transferred to another agent he refused.

I'm still out $50, no shoes, no order. Thanks Patrick. Ha e the day you deserve.

Ordered 2 pairs of boots. I ended up returning one as they were no longer needed. Not only did I have to pay $20 out of pocket to ship/return, they also only refunded me 19.99. A fraction of the cost of the boots. Easy to say I will never shop here again

I shopped around in there today finally found two pairs of Nike tennis shoes. I got to the register and was told because they were the exact same price and I had to get a pair that was cheaper in order to get it half price. I spent more time shopping around could not find a second pair so I gave the girl at the checkout my two pairs of shoes told her I was frustrated and left I had always seen the buy one get one half price and thought that they could be equal or lesser in value. So I got on the Internet and I found the exact pairs of shoes for 25% off and I'm having them delivered to my house directly from Nike. I won't be shopping Rack Room again.

I order a pair of new balances that I thought looked cute. Turns out they are not true to size and had a weird foam exposed tongue. I wanted to return because I felt they did not accurately represent the item in the pictures and they were cheap looking. I went to the post office and was told it would be $17-$20 for returns. I called rack room to ask if I could get the return covered based on the issues and they said no. Never buying from this place again. I feel like I've been stolen from.

The selection of shoes is getting worse and worse.plus the two employees felt the need to literally stalk me and my wife around the store I guess because my tattoos? She also eavesdropped and tried to impose on our private conversation and made us feel very uncomfortable and profiled. I never complain or write reviews but I was there around 6:15 pm May 19,2023 and those employees were awful and annoying on multiple occasions. After shopping there for 5 years I guarantee we Will NOT ever be back to Rackroom shoes In Richmond. So unprofessional and petty.

Customer care live chat is not helpful. Probably best to call in or go to the actual store.

I ordered the wrong size shoes, and realized as soon as I submitted the payment. I instantly reached out to them, and was told I could not cancel my order. That I would have to wait for them to ship and be delivered then send them back. The shoes were $75 and I had to spend $18 just to send them back! There is no way for me to return them to the store in person as I am no where near the location of the store. There should be an option to cancel an order if an item has not been shipped. To send them back and have to pay a price like that is sad. Please make improvements.

I bought a pair of shoes at the Rack Room Shoes to wear for daughter's wedding last week. Within 1 hr the elastic overstretched on one shoe. So I 'hobbled' around the rest of the evening. I took the shoes to store today. They said there was nothing wrong with them & they wouldn't do anything about them. So the BOGO 1/2 off was useless!
DO NOT BUY FROM RACKROOM.

After ordering Converse shoes for my wife at Christmas and not being the correct size and returning in January I have all but given up on either shoes that fit or a refund I would not recommend RACK ROOM! Multiple phone calls and emails and NO support I cannot recommend this company! I will never purchase from again!

Ordered shoes while they had BOGO 50٪ off. The email they sent confirming the order did not include the 50% off. The money is pending from my card but they can't find my order Probably because its not the right amount. Customer service is no help. I just have to wait for my money to be returned by my bank. Don't waste your time ordering from them. I've wasted a week now on shoes my son needed by a certain date. I wish I had known they had a 1 star rating. Not to mention they outsource their live chat so you have to waste more time calling the number they give you.

Seems like they send their worst shoes to online customers.

I purchased a pair of sneakers online because I cannot afford to get the store, which is 19 miles from where I live, but when they arrived, they were the wrong design. What's worse, the shoes they delivered are my least favorite design of the entire line. So I naturally wanted to exchange, but their policy is all exchanges must be done in store. Well, i still can't get there, so then u want to return... but to return i must pay for insurance of lost items.

I chose to spend money with them because they had the most affordable options for someone with so little money that they cannot even afford to get to the store. In return they have only cost me money and remorse by ending up with a product that I absolutely did not want in the first place. I'll remember them forever and if anyone ever asks, their online store is a true scam.

Tip for consumers:
Do not order online. They reserve their last desirable shoes for online shoppers because they know that getting to their store if far away will prevent exchanges and forcing people to pay for mail insurance and tracking number keeps us from don't return. They know that either method will cost us additional money beyond the initial purchase that they "messed up." If we pay the money to fix the issue, we cannot afford to purchase another pair of shoes from somewhere else. They are taking advantage

I purchased a pair of shoes for my husband right before Christmas. We traveled one and a half hours to the Sanford Mall in Florida. When we returned home discovered that the security tag was still on the sneakers. They called rack room shoes and we're told to bring them back to the store so they can remove the security tag. I explained it was an hour and a half round trip for us to drive to Sanford, no concerns no apologies that was our option. She did suggest we could try to remove it with a strong magnet, I am not doing that it is not my job. A second call to customer service they agreed to send a mailing label and explain when they see the movement of the shoes we had with the security tag they would send new shoes. We waited for the label as they were to mail the label to us we do not have a printer. Unfortunately we never saw that label when we called they said they had emailed it to us we explained we don't have a printer again. Finally we received the label I took the sneakers to the pack and ship how to buy a $6 bag and ship the sneakers back. My husband called to see that his new sneakers were going to be sent since there's movement on the ones we had and we're told there is no tracking number or account number or anything like that relate it to those sneakers that she can find. Now we are $90 in the hall and have no sneakers no satisfaction no apology no extra rewards as promised absolutely nothing. I am not sure at this point they can do anything to make it right but at least try.

They don't give you a complete refund when you return shoes here in El Paso, Texas. I had paid close to ninety dollars for a pair of sneakers and they only refunded me fifty-four dollars!

I ordered a pair of tie dye converse on 3/23/22, recieved an order confirmation with a Bag number. Have been checking on the status regularly and finally called today. They can not find my order and have no record of my order even though I provided her with all the information on my receipt. Not only that but I can not find these shoes anywhere! I will not ever buy shoes through Rack Room Shoes again and would discourage others from buy from them also. Very frustrated and unhappy!

Bought my husband a pair of shoes here. Shoes completely apart in less than 3 months! (summer... not daily wear!) Zero customer service! Store manager and employees were extremely rude! My family and friends will not set foot in their store again. Good Luck if you do!

Rude customer service.
Almost every sale is a scam. They tell you some mumbo- jumbo about every shoe and how they aren't actually on sale...despite the tags. It's ridiculous.
Meanwhile, we watch someone walk out of the store holding several stolen shoes in his arms with the alarm trigger and the sales people just smile and say "there goes another one."

I bought a brand new pair of shoes from rack room shoes and they started falling about not even a week later. I paid almost 70$. I politely called and asked for a refund but they obviously said no because " I wore the shoes" obviously I wore them but you shouldn't pay that much for a pair of shoes that doesn't even last a week. Stir clear of this company if you know what is good for you.
