I contacted quibids about a promotional offer I received by email. The offer indicated I could receive 25 free bids if I completed a Buy Now option on the product in question. The product is not available for my bidding/auction is not available for my participation. I sent an email to quibids about this and felt I was just giving some feedback. Within 30 minutes of submitting my feed back/email through customer support I was credited with 25 bids. That was entirely unexpected. Thank you quibids for making sure your members are treated so well. That is why quibids is the best online auction site on the internet
After being directed a little deeper and to how this program worked I was sure it was not for me. I contacted support services and they without any questions cancelled my membership that I had just started, per my request
I have a love/hate relationship with Quibids. On one hand, I have gotten some wonderful buys on items and the Buy It Now feature means you don't ever have to lose any money. On the other hand, there are too many bidding bullies and too many crazies who need to win at any cost on the site. Additionally, they really need to continually add new products. It's been stagnant with the same old/same old for a long time.
The customer service is helpful and fix any issue immediately! I recommend Quibids for anyone who is interested in a budding site. I have tried others but no one else has come close to even compare! Quibids is the best!
Now they are making changes, customer has substantial paid in advance for bids, then CORP. makes changes, I can assure you changes made ALWAYS benefit company NOT consumer, and you must live with. I caution you to not pre pay substantial amounts. Prizes are disappearing and being reduced. I believe QUI BIDS may be on final legs prior to termination. Consumers are declining and revenues are REDUCED, I would be surprised if I am wrong!
I used to be a regular on this site, but I do not believe they are the quality site any longer. It is extremely difficult to win a auction. I do not know if they make it more difficult for old members. They no longer have the assortment of gift cards
They once had. When you have played as long as I and many other there are only so many items you could use. I wish they were more diversified and had lower processing or no processing fees.

Then they dumped me in the page where the auctions are quarter hours and half hours apart instead of minutes so that there are a huge amount of bidders on each auction and winning is next to impossible unless you've got tons of bids. No more inexpensive items, no more frequent wins. Instead lots of losses and using up bids like crazy. This seems to me just like gambling.
Like many others have said, bidding early makes no sense. I also suspect that there may be 'bots' used since some of the bidders were bidding on multiple items at once, and bidding early and often.
That being said, I suspect if you have the time and patience to watch the clock reset hundreds of times from 1 second back up to 20, you just might get a steal.
I'm surprised it gets 2 stars. This is a complete rip off... Be very careful they keep the money whether or not you win. It is in the "How it Works" information but it can be easily misread or even overlooked. I think the reason is you either been to a auction or heard about them and when you bid there they don't keep your money well with QuiBids they do. It's just not in our thinking process. It's a big rip off and should be shut down.
Beware.
I enrolled in Quibids without expecting that they will charge 60$ just for enrollment
After seeing so many negative reviews online I was hesitant if I will get my money back. But they paid back all my un used bids immediately and their response was very assuring..
Just joined, new to site. Un-intended purchase of bids either on my part or otherwise. As soon as I noticed the charge I emailed QuiBids about the charge. Within a few hours I received a email back confirming a refund. Overall I'm very happy with customer service
The bidding process is not what I expected. It seems unfairly skewed toward existing bidders with deep pockets. Some might say they deserve to have an advantage. But I am not willing to be the fodder to feed their machine. I am most appreciative of QuiBids support team and the speed with which they responded to my request to cancel my account and refund my unused bids. Thanks for the experience.
QuiBids is such a fraud! They only let you raise bid by 1 cent and every bid adds 15 seconds to auction time. Which gives others plenty of time to place more bids. There is an illusion that it is just going to end in few seconds but it actually never stops. Yes, the final price may be 250 USD for IPAD, but this means all who were competing to buy it have spent 250*100 = 2 500 bids (each bid costs, depending on the package, on average $1)! This is what cumulatively all those who were trying to win are paying, 2500 USD! Highly misleading FRAUD. You can spend 180 USD to get 300 bids and waste them all on one item without getting anything.
If you have heard of quibids and want to try it out you should read this first!
Quibids charges $. 60 per bid, and forces you to buy 100 bids before you even sign up, a total of $60.00 USD! This "minor" detail is not stated clearly enough before you sign up, and I was another victim to Quibids rouse.
However, when I reached out to customer service they were able to provide me a refund. That's why I'm not giving it a one star
Hi Joey. We appreciate your feedback. We encourage all users to read the info on the credit card entry page to ensure they know exactly what they are paying for. It sounds like you were referring to the starter bid pack (100 bids at $0.60 for $60). We understand that people may get excited and sign up without fully reading the info. This is why we offer the full refund for unused bids. We're glad we could assist with your refund without any issues. Please know you are welcome to come back and try us out at any time.

Alicia on the Chat line provided me with excellent service. To resolve my problem she offer me two very fair options. I have selected the one that best met my needs. Thank you for making what could have been a very stressful situation a very simple and fair process! I would rank the customer service I received on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest... 100 or simply off the chart.
When I first heard of this site a couple months ago I immediately knew it was not a wise thing to get involved in. Then, in the spur of the moment, I signed up without thinking about it (it was early, no coffee yet, etc.). Once I signed up I realized what a HUGE mistake this was. The site does not lie that you can bid for a penny on some good merchandise, but the problem is that you are only one bidder among dozens of people. The winning price is always lower than retail, but you lose all your bids on items you do not win. I spent 42 bids and did not win a single item because there is always someone else who wants it more, has more bids, or just gets lucky. This site is a sinkhole for money playing on people's desires to save money and gamble, which is really what it is. I spent about $32 total on this site and 'won' $20 in gift certificates. Don't waste your time.
I tried qui bids and lost at an auction. I had 120. Towards a new GoPro with the buy now option. When I tried paying for it they said to call customer service. The next day they contacted me back and only gave me 5 voucher bids in return. How is it your system messes up your only willing to give me 3.00 worth of bids back in return out of the 120 bucks I had toward my item. Never again do to terrible service and no morals.
Jordan, I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with QuiBids. Please contact support@quibids.com and provide me with the auction ID number so I can further investigate the issue regarding the Buy Now price. If there was an error accepting your card on file, I would recommend contacting your financial institution to make sure everything is okay with your bank account.
Thank you,
Cassie

I am not 'up' on how to do much on the internet and somehow a cost was put onto my credit card. I had not authorized this and the person who got back to me, so quickly, took care of that for me. I received a notice in a short time that it was removed. I will be back with QuiBids, as soon as my son get's home to help me understand what I am doing! Thanks Folks and Merry Christmas!
This site has very big technical problems. All the time bidding freezing and you loosing money because after the site reboot there is winner on the auction you bid for. So, you have to be lucky to be the last bidder before the moment this site frozen. I've two times the same problem and i lost money twice. I even start thing this is special job of Quibids team to stop bidding on "special" bidder.
I would not recommend to use this site for your shopping needs!
I also think this is a scam. I bid on something thinking I would not lose my $60.00, as I could buy it in the end. After losing the bid, I purchased the Samsung tablet. The price had gone to $114. From $176. And that is what I thought I was buying it for. You have 2 hours to decided if you don't want to lose your bid money, by purchasing the item What they don't tell you is the purchase price is $176., not the "buy now price" of $114. I feel I got cheated for $60. And when I called them after seeing my credit card account, they could give a ####. Do not go there! I could have paid $25.00 less than Amazon. When people say they purchased soothing for a small amount, they probably are not including the $. 60 PER BID!
The website itself was not for me, so thinking I lost the money I just put in to not wanting to participate I contacted their customer service and dealt with a real person who, with no questions asked refunded my money on the spot. I sincerely appreciate the quick, hassle-free response I received in less than 4 min. After emailing them
Answer: Yes like Gary O said, $60 buys your first 100 bids. Seems like a lot but after that you can buy 25 bids for $15. Best investment I ever made!
Answer: When you sign up, to be able to bid, you must purchase bids and the first bid pack is 100 bids for $60. People simply do not read. I would ask them why they think they give their credit card number just to sign up. I've read the information and it's pretty clear. I've been using QuiBIds for going on 3 years and I love it. When you sign up there will be at the top that is labeled "QuiBids 101". If you do sign up, be sure to read QuiBids 101 before you begin bidding. It's very helpful.
Answer: Hi Madeline, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't aware you were purchasing the starter bid package of 100 bids for $60.00 when entering your credit card info on the purchase page. The good news is they will offer a full refund for any of your unused bids. Just send them an email at support@quibids.com and they will be happy to assist you. They are very supportive and want to make sure you are satisfied.
