Steven was great! He is a good asset to your company.
Had an issue with my account and contacted Customer Service via chat and they were able to correct the issue without any problems.
It never occurred to me, because I didn't do my own due diligence by reading over EVERYTHING! Lol! Did not expect to come out of pocket with $60.00 right off the bat! Behind Christmas too, not good for me. But I'd be happy to try again at a later date once I've read through everything thoroughly! But the customer service was quick and efficient in refunding me, so no harm no foul.
Thanks,
I read what I thought was an article about QuiBids, but when I re-read it, it was clear it was an advertisement. I fell for it.
Everything at a fraction of the price and when you look at the recent sold item prices, $4 for an iPad air or $10 for a TV is ridiculously cheap, but as I know now, not the entire truth. Like so many others, did I not read the fine print regarding the initial $60 deposit; neither did I initially understand that each bid was $0.60.
But I'm not a dummy either. One of the first auctions I looked at was a 55" LED Smart TV that sold for under $10... Outrageous I thought, and that's where my brain kicked in and said, "Hey wait a minute... something doesn't add up". Of course it doesn't. 1000 x 1 cent bids = $600 which is a fair price for the TV, HOWEVER you can only win if you keep bidding, because at some point the auction get's locked for the top bidders and only one can win. So in reality everyone pays for the TV but only one gets it. I think we called that 'Chinese auctions' where I'm from. The actual winner pay the current auction price + $. 6 per bid which is less than MSRP, misleading thing is that they list "Similar items sold at $3.74" but that price does not include the bidding fees.
Anyway, I don't have time to watch or play these games so I never placed a bid on anything and sent an email to customer service and had my $60 back on my credit card within 2 business days which is fair and normal practice (ever checked how long hotels and rental car companies keep your money?)... The email confirmation was courteous and professional and I have had no issues.
Since it to me, seems a little shady, one could suspect that there are items that never sell to ‘real' people. Since everyone pays $0.60 per bid it's not a far-fetched scenario that I as the owner just make bids and have no loss since I'm paying myself, and then when I (the owner) win I could just list the same item again, and again, and again… I'm not saying it happens, I'm saying it very well could and no one could ever find out. Happy bidding.
I decided after just a few bids that QuiBids wasn't for me. I sent a late-night email asking to cancel my new account and refund my remaining balance. Two days later, I received an acknowledgement from QuiBids, and the day after that, my account was closed and my remaining balance was already refunded back to my credit card. I expected this to be a long, drawn-out process, but QuiBids handled my request promptly and with total professionalism. A nice surprise, indeed... thanks, QuiBids!
I was too quick to join and didnt read the fine print and was charged 27.00 for 45 Qui bids, still have no idea how to bid or how the site really works. I tried to bid and was told to start off smal
Ler Lol. Anyway I sent an email asking that my card be refunded since they never told me they were charging my card or any amount I was confident they would promptly refund my card as soon as I ask rather than risk a complaint to a higher source. I still dont agree with the site saying Hey you need to just register your card to start bidding! And then charge the card without telling you. Thats complete BS and Im sure alot of people dont notice a small charge and never bid so Qui Bids benefits. Ill never go to the site agin. But... The customer service is top notch! Lol
I misunderstood the price of the QuiBids purchase packet. I emailed QuiBid's customer support and was instantly refunded my money without any proplems.
I ordered item without being aware of it. Contacted QuiBids. They credited my account the next day. Thanks so much. Next time I visit the site will know more on how to proceed.
I was unaware that I would charged "upfront" for the bid credits.
I want to cancel my account and have the (upfront) bids charges taken off my credit card account.
They were done right away, no hassles.
Thank you!
I made a terrible mistake and Qbids was fast and just in the 21st they handled the situation. Yah! For both of us!
Am very happy that I don't have that extra bill to pay. Thank you so much. Please delete my credit card in your file.
I was watching and auction for 100 voucher bids that I should have been eligible to bid on after the time limit for winning Two such auctions in a 24 hour period had expired. I tried to bid, but the system would not let me, although I was eligible by a couple minutes. The auction locked, and there was not another one for 7 more hours. I really screwed up my strategy to win a big ticket item I had on my watch list. Customer service gave me 50 bids to compensate me. That is the right way to treat a customer, but it is rare in the world today.
I did not receive an item and was quickly refunded with both the cost and bids.
Recently got married and my name changed. I wanted it updated in my Quibids account. Customer service was awesome and they had my name changed within minutes. Thanks
I had not a second wasted before I received the information needed to proceed with my bidding.
I enrolled in Quibids without expecting that they will charge 60$ just for enrollment
After seeing so many negative reviews online I was hesitant if I will get my money back. But they paid back all my un used bids immediately and their response was very assuring..
Great items. Great service. Fast delivery of items. Quibids has a vast selection of goods to bid on...
I signed up not fully understanding how this worked, QuiBids was very quick in replying to my request for a refund. No issues
I had won a Quibids auction and the item mailed to me. Unfortunately the item was returned and I didn't receive it. I contacted Quibids and they re-mailed it back to me! Awesome!
Answer: Yes like Gary O said, $60 buys your first 100 bids. Seems like a lot but after that you can buy 25 bids for $15. Best investment I ever made!
Answer: When you sign up, to be able to bid, you must purchase bids and the first bid pack is 100 bids for $60. People simply do not read. I would ask them why they think they give their credit card number just to sign up. I've read the information and it's pretty clear. I've been using QuiBIds for going on 3 years and I love it. When you sign up there will be at the top that is labeled "QuiBids 101". If you do sign up, be sure to read QuiBids 101 before you begin bidding. It's very helpful.
Answer: Hi Madeline, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't aware you were purchasing the starter bid package of 100 bids for $60.00 when entering your credit card info on the purchase page. The good news is they will offer a full refund for any of your unused bids. Just send them an email at support@quibids.com and they will be happy to assist you. They are very supportive and want to make sure you are satisfied.
