After I had signed unto QuiBids I found it not to be what I was looking for... I immediately contacted your support team and requested a cancellation of my account... Within hours they had answered via email that my account was cancelled and a refund made to my Visa... Thank you for your fast service...

If you got the time to sit and extra cash to gamble, it's a great place to get good deals. I have won lots of cool stuff from there. And you can never 'loose' money if you just buy it at the actual price. IT's a win / win for everyone.
The few things I bid on seemed to be against the same people and
They seemed to win the same item 3 or 4 times. It made me think
That it may be resellers. That's why I decided not to bid anymore. Maybe
You could limit the purchase of an item to 2 in a months time
A few days before my year was to expire I requested a refund of the money I had placed on Quibids. Crap. Took them over a week to respond with the form email. By that time a year had gone past. They tell me my money has been turned into vouchers and I waited too long to request a refund. I told them I did not and sent the email again as a forward so they could see the date I sent it. BUT NO! They didn't get it in time, maybe something is wrong with my email (they said).
Anyone want to buy 71 vouchers cheap?
Anyone thinking about using quibis, DON'T! Save yourself the headache and the money.
I submitted a credit card for the 100 bids without intending to- I shout it was for FUTURE purchases, or the like. When I realized my mistake, your just. Service was great about immediately refunding the charge. I will look at using your site in the future, and may well become a customer. Thank you for the good service.
I have used QuiBids with fairly successful results... that is until three of the gift cards I received were INVALID. Attempts to contact customer service by e-mail have gone unanswered. I contacted customer service by phone and was assured that the cards would be activated. Three days later and nothing. I posted a comment on the QuiBids FaceBook page detailing my experience and providing a link to the Oklahoma State Attorney General's website for complaints (QuiBids is based in Oklahoma). Within minutes, my post was removed and yet they don't have time to answer e-mails or take care of paying customers?
I have been with Quibids for about 6 months now and at first it was very challenging but after reading thru the Quibids 101 section I began have soon success. I've actually been able to win large and small items at a great value and was able to purchase items I did not win. In all auctions there are only one winner so there are going to be upset people ( I've been that guy) but I'm proof that if you just time your time to learn and must be willing to buy it now you can succeed. Their are power players but you learn to avoid those people and if you understand all your doing is shopping then you shouldn't be upset for only paying retail. You can't over pay on an item unless your using voucher bids and those are lost money anyways as far as I see it. You already gambled that money
I was under the impression that sign up was free until I realized my account was debited $60. I signed up to explore what seemed like a great opportunity to save a ton of money on otherwise pricey items and buy items, including the credits on my own terms. I was most impressed with the quick response from the support staff.
If people worked together and let everyone purchase something for insanely cheap, the company would not make as much money. The same items are always available, but people always fight instead of working together. For example, there is a macbook that is at penny bids (even though bids cost 60 cents for users) and it is now at 45.00. People think this is a great deal, but the company has already made 2700 dollars on the laptop. If people realized that there are generally 10 laptops in a day on the site and just let everyone have a chance to get one really cheap (like 5 dollars) then the company would not be making 4000 dollars a laptop. Just a thought... rather disappointing that people can not work together to make the best of a bidding opportunity.
You pay 60 cents per bid on an item about 20 or more people bid on. It cost you per bid and it only increases 1 cents, so you can actually pay more on the bidding then the retail price without knowing it. What a scam and a money maker for them. I also had to buy a minimum of 100 bids at $60 so i paid $60 to bid and purchase nothing because i was out bid. It is worse then putting your money in a slot machine!
Quibids is a great site to win items cheap, Yes, you need to buy or win bids but people win all day. They are very often lucky and win a bid. I have personally won a number of things ranging from gift cards to a computer mouse to a 8Gb flash drive. One needs a bit of patient and understanding as to how the site works but in the end winning is not that hard.
Yes, you say that a person cannot win an auction item valuing over 280 dollars more than once a month... well I have seen PentaxBuying win one item and later the same day was bidding on another one of the same items. This site cannot be trusted. I AM OUT!
Because I did not read the terms carefully I found that I had bought $60 worth of bids while not receiving the 30 free bids promised. You can not sign up with out buying bids. Read carefully and be aware these folks are slick as an eel!
I was really mad when I found out that money was removed from a gift card I had. I never use my bank account for anything online. After receiving my first message from quibids I felt it would be taken care of and it was. Thank you
Your customer service dep't is excellent. Your people were right on top of my
Request immediately. Thank you kindly. The thing is. I only use PayPal but it
Was not a 'pay' option. And too. I could not find anywhere to 'unsubscribe' so
I had to e-mail your company. Thank you anyway... Chrys..
This site is a scam! Stay away!
The latest attempt to lure people to their site is posting items on craigslist at low price and when you reply to the ad, they say it's sold and give you link to quibids.com where they got it for cheap.
I am so impressed with this company. I received a very quick response to my issue and they resolved my problem without delay and beyond what my original (internal) expectations were. I am very impressed with the integrity of QuiBids and would recommend them to others that might be considering their service.
I am concerned with the timing technique. There have been several instances when I have bid at the last second and told "Sorry the item has been sold." I clearly had placed my bid before time ran out. Other times when I have the highest bid it seems that when it hits 1 second there is a pause of at least a whole second before it says sold but most often another bid is taken and I don't find that fair at all. I do like the site as I have been very pleased with the items I have won the bid on, just would like the timing to be consistent so its fair for everyone.
Beware! It sounds good while you are searching for things, like a Wll console but, as soon as you purchase the bids, the console magically disappears and no more are offered. They lure you into giving you credit information. Afterwards, looking up what they have to auction, they don't have much of a variety. Your better of with EBAY or Amazon.
I like this site. The negative is that you have to buy your bids. You need to be careful & watch the items before you start bidding. So far I have won 6 items and am a head by $60 and I still have bids not used yet! You need to research the items before you start bidding so you know how many bids you are willing to go before you give up. The items I have bid on have not been high price all under 50 dollars. It has taken a couple of weeks to get the gift cards. I just won three items last night so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive. You really really need to do your homework before you start biding so that you can make smart choice's. So far I have had success.
Answer: Yes like Gary O said, $60 buys your first 100 bids. Seems like a lot but after that you can buy 25 bids for $15. Best investment I ever made!
Answer: When you sign up, to be able to bid, you must purchase bids and the first bid pack is 100 bids for $60. People simply do not read. I would ask them why they think they give their credit card number just to sign up. I've read the information and it's pretty clear. I've been using QuiBIds for going on 3 years and I love it. When you sign up there will be at the top that is labeled "QuiBids 101". If you do sign up, be sure to read QuiBids 101 before you begin bidding. It's very helpful.
Answer: Hi Madeline, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't aware you were purchasing the starter bid package of 100 bids for $60.00 when entering your credit card info on the purchase page. The good news is they will offer a full refund for any of your unused bids. Just send them an email at support@quibids.com and they will be happy to assist you. They are very supportive and want to make sure you are satisfied.
