Sent request for refund and received it right away. Not too crazy about the actual website since I didn't like having the $60 taken out of my account even without a purchase. I didn't see anything that I was interested in bidding on.
I do appreciate the prompt refund to my account
Two simple universal truths for all of you mathematicians and PHD's and your two page reviews:
If it sounds to good to be true, it is.
There is a sucker born every minute.
Perhaps we can add an inner circle of Dante's hell for the creators of this site.
Had to buy penny bids for 25 dollars. Tried to bid on an item but in no time I was out of bids. I honestly feel they must have these items are controlled by quibids because this item had no bids on it until I began bidding then strangely enough everyone was bidding at once. This site is a scam!
Did not receive bit item after 2 weeks. Contact customer support who started an inquiry. After 3 1/2 weeks started process of returning bid money when item showed up out of no where. Customer support handled the situation with class, dignity, and with absolute honesty. To all involved, THANKS!
I have found QuiBids to be the most exciting penny auction site. The auctions are plentiful and you can often win items for only a few bids. There are so many products at QuiBids; ranging from gift ideas, and everyday items available like, a blender, vacuums, clothing, jewelry, even food items. Every win is shipped free. You can get a lot for only a little at Quibids.com
I signed up for Quibids failing to read the first page thoroughly. It clearly stated that I would be charged for 100 bids upon signing up but I didn't see that. I panicked when $60 came out of my account, but the customer service team was quick to refund my money for me. I just sent them an email and in a few hours, my issue was resolved. I will use Quibids in the future due to the wonderful customer service I received.
I accidentally purchased a bid pack, but only meant to view the site; unfortunately, I didn't have the money in the bank to cover it so it caused me an overdraft fee; thank goodness for your understanding, I sent an e-mail to you and received immediate response, and had the refund back in my account today; thank u so much for being so quick to reply, awesome, super job!
I don't think it's a scam but I do think they must be raking in the money! It's very hard to win anything unless you stare at the computer and pay complete attention to it during the last few seconds (like 20 seconds). The last 20 seconds can go on for a long time so this is a real time-suck of a website. But I got a couple of things and then dropped out. It's too time-intensive.
I asked for a refund of my unused bids since I don't really find this type of purchasing to my taste... a little too complex, translating bids to $. 60, also can't quite understand how with voucher bids selected to be used first I still got billed $. 01 on my credit card when I won a bid for vouchers with only 1 bid. I guess I'm just not up to speed for this action. Thanks for the refund minus the 1 bid.
I've just about used up all my bids and tonight had the bidding clock freeze up right when I would have won the bid and then got a sweet email saying you didn't win this bid but you can buy it for the difference between the price and what you have spent on bids. They cost 60 cents a shot to bid above the price if you make it to the winning point. I'm done.
I had signed up for Quibids and on the Friday after that they deducted $60 from my checking account. I emailed and asked why this was done, as I had done no bidding. While they did not answer my question, they said there would be a full credit done to my account in 3 business days. This is the 4th day and it has not shown yet, but they assured me it had been done.
Got lured in and bought bids, bid and won 3 items the first day, which is the limit. Excited to bid again but thought should wait to make sure I received the items? Well received one, the other two "who knows if I will ever receive",,, it has been over 30 business days and have made numerous phone calls, live chat as well as emails. Quibids customer service answers by opening a claim with the shipping department...? Unacceptable for sure. If I had spent more than the 60 dollars to set up I would sue... But not worth it. I recently requested the account be closed and refund of the unused bids I have... Well see how that works since it has been 5 days since I requested that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.
I went on QuiBids and became a member then decided I did not want to bid I did not realize money would be taken out of my account without bidding. I became upset and panicked and kept emailing customer service which confused them but they handled it and was great with me and took care of everything
Quibids might not be a scam, but it's awfully close. They trick you into thinking you're going to get a deal when the most likely outcome is that you're going to lose your money and buy stuff you didn't really want for a price that is higher than what you wanted to pay. Stay far far away.
This is a 100 percent real legit site. I am a real person and was as nervous as many people would be. About 4 weeks ago I bid and won a small 15 dollar walmart gift card for 7 cents. I did research and got a strategy together before I tried a big auction. In the last two days I won a 55 inch led tv for 80 bucks and a 200 dollar wm gift card for 5 bucks. I will not have anyone talk bad about this site. Its your fault if you go all in without a plan and loose all your money. Take time, come up with a strategy, win.Its just that simple. I have lost zero dollars and have come out ahead. I give this my highest possible recommendation.
It's all about gambling. I received nothing for the $60 spent on 100 bids. They need to have more items up for bid at a given time, so that the amount of new members doesn't affect the odds of winning a bid.
So you are telling me that you pay to bid and if you don't win you loose you money. You know what that sounds like gambling. They just steal your $. You not even getting a service for what you are paying for. Some needs to get balls and sue this company. I can't believe one of the associates said the bid is an investment in the product. That like saying the casino is an investment. Lol brain washed employees r
I had no idea what I was getting into. I'm 65 and just thought I pay when I buy something. QuiBids was so nice they gave me my money back no questions asked and very few companies are that considerate.
Thank you
I joined QuiBids last weekend and think it is a pretty cool site. I haven't made a killing, but have won a couple of things and did a "Buy it Now" on a Walmart Gift Card that I did not win (yes I had to pay a $1.99 service change, but that was better than losing the $$$'s that I used on bids). I figured the $2 was the cost of the entertainment.
There is tons of information available on the site, along with hints on how to make good decisions. They do advertise the best recent wins (they show you an IPAD that won for $3.54, not the one that was bid up to $111). The most important thing is to only bid on things that you really want or will be buying anyway.
My best suggestion is to start by bidding on gift cards to places that you frequent anyway and be willing to Buy It Now if you don't win.
I was the ad on tv, looked neat. Check your site and what people were saying about IT. I really like the info that your reviewers had too say, thank all. Love the site keep up the good work. Sorry want to see if there one about poker stars or party poker that I can start or add too.
Answer: Yes like Gary O said, $60 buys your first 100 bids. Seems like a lot but after that you can buy 25 bids for $15. Best investment I ever made!
Answer: When you sign up, to be able to bid, you must purchase bids and the first bid pack is 100 bids for $60. People simply do not read. I would ask them why they think they give their credit card number just to sign up. I've read the information and it's pretty clear. I've been using QuiBIds for going on 3 years and I love it. When you sign up there will be at the top that is labeled "QuiBids 101". If you do sign up, be sure to read QuiBids 101 before you begin bidding. It's very helpful.
Answer: Hi Madeline, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't aware you were purchasing the starter bid package of 100 bids for $60.00 when entering your credit card info on the purchase page. The good news is they will offer a full refund for any of your unused bids. Just send them an email at support@quibids.com and they will be happy to assist you. They are very supportive and want to make sure you are satisfied.

We try to provide as much information upfront to inform potential customers that QuiBids is a pay-to-participate site. Online gambling is illegal and QuiBids does not partake in this kind of activity. Gambling implies the uncontrollable element of chance, and because every auction on QuiBids is customer-driven, there is no act of randomness. QuiBids hosts a Buy Now feature on every auction. This assures that no user, having participated in a particular auction, will ever have to walk away without either winning the auctioned item or purchasing it at the listed price.
