I purchased a membership hoping for a month by month payment plan and did not realize I had signed up for an annual one. When asked to give feed back I mentioned that I was a disgruntled about paying for the full year when I intended to use it just for one occasion. The CEO quickly responded and refunded me the 11 months. I was not even asking for a refund but they gave me one anyway. This is the first time as a customer that an issue communicated in the feed back form was personally addressed by the CEO and so quickly, was very impressed.

They'll let you get through making your entire card before the final step, when it asks you make an account. You make an account, and then realize it didn't save your card. So annoyingly, you'll go back to remake your entire card, and then the final step this time will be to start their free trial or buy a subscription package. Great!
I know this is not an uncommon business practice but I've just had enough of it. Only two stars because the site was designed well.
Also, looks like two of the subscription packages don't even remove advertising. You get to pay up and still get to have ads on your card. Wow. And looks like this site requires you to make an account as well, lol. Never had needed to do something out of spite just in spite of something else. Time for tempmail again

Bait and Switch

I have used Punchbowl for many years to send evites. No more than 1-2 evites a year. I just went in and completed an entire invitation, added emails, sent a test mail, etc. Only after all of that does it come up to tell you that only new members can send an evite for free. Loyal users now have to "subscribe" and pay. Granted, the least expensive option is only $0.99, however you just can't pay that. You have to join with a monthly subscription and then you have to remember to cancel. This stinks! I'm done with Punchbowl. There are too many free options out there without the hassle.

Today is Mother's Day. I really want to send my mom an ecard to show her some love and care during this social distancing and I can't, this system don't let me. I pay almost $50.00 the fist time and I can't use it.

I was initially attracted to the website for their colorful and fresh card templates but after subscribing to a membership I saw that this additional fee was unnecessary. Luckily, I was connected with a customer service representative that was calm and thorough. She was able to arrange a refund and cancel my subscription. Hands down, this is the best customer assistance I've received in a long time, especially in a pandemic.

Frustrating
June 12, 2020

Had an account from a year ago where you could send cards for free. Now it is subscription only and it looks as though cheapest option is $24 a year. Billed annually. I just wanted to send a mother's day card and spent thirty minutes on it when I discovered the new fee. I would have paid the $2 monthly but when I went to confirm it showed $24 for a yesr. Just be aware before you dive into card msking. It's not free. Nice cards though which made it doubly disappointing.

The advertisement is a bait and switch. Says it's a 7-day free trial, they charged my account $48. I requested a refund, as it stated, no questions asks. Conveniently, they cannot find my transaction. They want me to send them a screenshot of my account. Who does that? With all of the scams and hackers, that's not going to happen. I will be contacting my bank.

The days of contacting people who haven't RSVP'D because they put their invite to the side and forgot about it are long gone with the Punchbowl app! You can make custom invitations send them out with 1 click and within a no time you can start planning your event as the responses are tracked and people respond as soon as they open the invitation. This is a convenience that anyone who has struggled in trying to organize an event without any idea of how many attendees they need to prepare for has been long overdue. It really leaves no room for excuses to not respond and cuts the stress in half. The future of event planning has arrived and I have nothing but good things to say about it and think you'll feel the same!

I use this company every year for a large event. Their platform helps me make a nice e-invitation and manage the large guest list responses, communicate with guests etc. Their customer service is friendly and quick when asking questions, changing membership types and status etc. Punchbowl packs a punch in a GOOD way! Thank you!

We had to change the date of my daughter's birthday making it sooner than what we had planned. Using punchbowl was a great decision to get out invitations quickly. There were plenty of wonderful design options and the site was very easy to use. They even sent an email giving me an option to send thank you notes. I will definitely use punchbowl again!

Mission Accomplished

The Punchbowl App made organizing my husband's surprise birthday easy. I was able to communicate with guests under the radar. There are user friendly features and fun graphics in the selection of cards. I liked it so much I purchased a membership to send cards during quarantine.

Over the Top

I wanted to say thank you for creating this service. Your application enabled me to set myself apart from other applicants in my hiring pool. A few months ago, I began being interviewed by Microsoft for several opportunities. It took a few rounds to align me with the proper opportunity; but the distinguishing factor during each round was the fact that I would send a Punchbowl Thank You Card. With your help, I eventually won them over and was offered a role to come aboard a couple of months ago. I really want to say thank you!

The software is very user-friendly and allows for a lot of customization and flexibility. I found it a lot more cost competitive compared to Paperless Post (pay-per-invite with coins that you can purchase instead of a monthly or annual subscription); I did not check other software options out there. The thing that really made me come out and review them publicly is their customer service. I had accidentally signed up for annual instead of monthly, and I reached out to them explaining the situation, and they gladly changed my subscription and credited me back! It was so quick and easy, and they were so understanding and lovely!

I've used Punchbowl for my son's birthday parties and other events over the past few years and the website is wonderful, the electronic cards and invitations are great but more than that, the customer service is spectacular! Help is there when you need it. Real humans with the knowledge and desire to help are quick to respond. I highly recommend Punchbowl.

100% fabulous

This app has a wide variety of beautiful cards and invitations. The app is user friendly and easy to manage all of your invitations, guest replies and follow up thank you cards. The app also automatically sends reminders to guests two days before the actual event which was so nice and worry free for me. I also really liked the features that allow you to customize certain settings which gives you control even though the app has everything under control so you can relax. The app also always two way contact with your guests where you or your guest can write messages back and fourth if needed or desired. Overall I love this app and look forward to continuing to use it for all upcoming events.

Excellent Invitation Website

Used Punchbowl for a professional event, and loved that all invitations could be sent via text message or email. It was smooth throughout, and kept track of everything. Very simple to use as well. Highly recommend and will keep using.

Great Party App

Easy to use, lots of choice, built in reliability, attractive and deliverable by text or email, Punchbowl comes highly recommended. I was able to send out 50+ invitations and manage the RSVP list quickly and easily. Party-goers, who ranged in age from 25 to 85, had no complaints either. CONVENIENT AND VERY COOL!

Punchbowl has lightening speed response time if you need help. When I send out cards or invites from Punchbowl - I get tons of compliments. Very Affordable. I use this all the time within our small office. We have 19 team members. Great Morale booster for making any day a little less blah - but especially while we are working remotely.
