I purchased a membership hoping for a month by month payment plan and did not realize I had signed up for an annual one. When asked to give feed back I mentioned that I was a disgruntled about paying for the full year when I intended to use it just for one occasion. The CEO quickly responded and refunded me the 11 months. I was not even asking for a refund but they gave me one anyway. This is the first time as a customer that an issue communicated in the feed back form was personally addressed by the CEO and so quickly, was very impressed.
They'll let you get through making your entire card before the final step, when it asks you make an account. You make an account, and then realize it didn't save your card. So annoyingly, you'll go back to remake your entire card, and then the final step this time will be to start their free trial or buy a subscription package. Great!
I know this is not an uncommon business practice but I've just had enough of it. Only two stars because the site was designed well.
Also, looks like two of the subscription packages don't even remove advertising. You get to pay up and still get to have ads on your card. Wow. And looks like this site requires you to make an account as well, lol. Never had needed to do something out of spite just in spite of something else. Time for tempmail again
I have used Punchbowl for many years to send evites. No more than 1-2 evites a year. I just went in and completed an entire invitation, added emails, sent a test mail, etc. Only after all of that does it come up to tell you that only new members can send an evite for free. Loyal users now have to "subscribe" and pay. Granted, the least expensive option is only $0.99, however you just can't pay that. You have to join with a monthly subscription and then you have to remember to cancel. This stinks! I'm done with Punchbowl. There are too many free options out there without the hassle.

I was initially attracted to the website for their colorful and fresh card templates but after subscribing to a membership I saw that this additional fee was unnecessary. Luckily, I was connected with a customer service representative that was calm and thorough. She was able to arrange a refund and cancel my subscription. Had an account from a year ago where you could send cards for free. Now it is subscription only and it looks as though cheapest option is $24 a year. Billed annually. I just wanted to send a mother's day card and spent thirty minutes on it when I discovered the new fee. I would have paid the $2 monthly but when I went to confirm it showed $24 for a yesr. Just be aware before you dive into card msking. It's not free. Nice cards though which made it doubly disappointing.

The advertisement is a bait and switch. Says it's a 7-day free trial, they charged my account $48. I requested a refund, as it stated, no questions asks. Conveniently, they cannot find my transaction. They want me to send them a screenshot of my account. Who does that? With all of the scams and hackers, that's not going to happen. I will be contacting my bank.

The software is very user-friendly and allows for a lot of customization and flexibility. I found it a lot more cost competitive compared to Paperless Post (pay-per-invite with coins that you can purchase instead of a monthly or annual subscription); I did not check other software options out there. The thing that really made me come out and review them publicly is their customer service. I had accidentally signed up for annual instead of monthly, and I reached out to them explaining the situation, and they gladly changed my subscription and credited me back! This app has a wide variety of beautiful cards and invitations. The app is user friendly and easy to manage all of your invitations, guest replies and follow up thank you cards. The app also automatically sends reminders to guests two days before the actual event which was so nice and worry free for me. I also really liked the features that allow you to customize certain settings which gives you control even though the app has everything under control so you can relax. The app also always two way contact with your guests where you or your guest can write messages back and fourth if needed or desired. Overall I love this app and look forward to continuing to use it for all upcoming events.

Love the fact that you can reach out to people (send birthday invites, in my case) using phone numbers, email, and any other social media, yet, I can regulate all of it from the most convenient place to me (mobile app).
