In the same boat as other's with this company not holding up there side of the contract and im to small to do anything about it. It has been 8 months at $544 per month and my site is still not set up and no one tat the company will help. They just keep giving me a new " success manager" and they all say the same thing " this isn't right. I will fix your site immediately." But lo and behold nobody does anything and I lose contact with everybody.
I have had a professional profile with Houzz for over 6 years now and have received a lot of benefits from leads to the free website. My volume of leads have not always been consistent, but they're generally a better quality than more generic home-improvement lead services. When Houzz acquired Ivy I was very excited about all of the project management tools. I'm sorry to say it has been a bit of a disaster. The integration is so buggy and the tool itself is missing so many essential elements (like the ability to log project notes?), that I had to completely backtrack and drop using it almost all together. That definitely cost me time and the confidence of a few of my clients.
Houzz Pro is a scam. There is no benefits that will help grow your client base. They charge a large amount of money for a small advertising region. There is no way to cancel you subscription and your on file card can never be removed. Currently there is over 500 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Suggest, don't even view this website. They will find a way to constantly bill you. Very bad business practices.
I was over sold on the lead generation function go the software. After taking over a month to get set up on the software it started generating poor leads. I tried to cancel, they locked me into a year long agreement. I tried to make the best of it and responded to any lead that might have even been close to good and still did not generate work. I had a sigh of relief when the year was up. I finally realized they were still charging my card and found out that they have an automatic renewal. For another year! So now they say I'm trapped in a software that I have absolutely no use for. BEWARE!
I decided to try Houzz Pro for our business. I wasn't nervous about giving my credit card info at the time I signed up because there supposedly is a 30 day free, no risk trial. Boy was I wrong! After 5 days, it was determined that it was not a good fit for our company so I called to cancel. I was told they could not cancel it and had already charged my account for the entire year. Then I left a negative feedback on their system and was contacted by another person. He led me to believe that he could handle the credit card charge reversal. All he did was pick my brain on how Houzz Pro could be improved and then offered me a $100 credit. He also said there was no way to return the monies.
I then went to my credit card account and found they had charged me again for the entire amount. It has been nothing buy a hassle and now I'm out almost $2800 for my "Free Trial". BEWARE!

The first two years has been great experience working with Houz. Receiving 3 to 4 jobs leads per month. This year since January I have received only five leads.
Overall the Pro app is great. However, occassionaly the app is down (both the website and the mobile app), and quite annoying I cannot respond to clients mails.
Thank you for sharing your experience and apologize for the frustrations this may have caused you. If you have any additional feedback, we ask that you reach out to your dedicated Client Success Manager directly. We appreciate your feedback as it will help us continue to improve our processes every day.
HouzzPro offers nothing that will HELP your business to grow. It doesn't do anything special and is just a way to get your money. They offer a 30-day trial period. Immediately upon signing up, I realized is only does about 1/4 of what Quickbook does and costs over twice as much. So, I called and cancelled within 24 hours of signing up. And, of course they said they cancelled. But, charge my account 30 days later and keep charging every month. I have disputed each charge as it comes in. I have called Houzz and get someone who tells me they completely understand and see that I cancelled and they will take care of it with no more charges. And guess what? They charge again. So, do NOT under any circumstances go with HouzzPro.
Houzz has proved its worth in more ways then I thought possible. Together with their support they have enabled us to reach more clients and secure more work than I could have without them. A very valuable resource for us. Excellent web presence and design. I would highly recommend working with Houzz.
I like working with Dan Davidson. He is really helpful and informative. Our company uses the Houzz Profile as a portfolio which is very convenient. No more carrying books and photos. The platform has so many platforms that can help you run and manage your business. We love it.
Hi! I signed up for the Houzz program and I've been using this service for almost 1,5 years. My business grows a lot because the quality of clients here is much better than in other platforms. Also I want to say that Houzz provides very good support team which can talk with you and check every month if your account is in a good state and everything goes correctly and how to attract even more clients. Highly recommend!
We've been a paying Houzz Pro for about six years. The platform provides a significant percentage of our projects, but each year the ratio slightly decreases. We have to assume that they've saturated our market with other designers, as evidenced by searches for similar firms in the area. We used to top the charts. Not so much anymore, which is disappointing. However, our rep, Brittany Bromagem, has been instrumental in providing advice and guidance, which has helped. If you join the program, make sure you have a knowledgeable and caring representative.
As designers, we utilize Houzz Pro for their lead generation capabilities, as well as another channel and opportunity for exposure of our work. Houzz Pro has been a beneficial resource in both areas, while providing additional significance to our business through the achievement of awards and positive client reviews that are posted on our page. They have consistently provided excellent, and timely, support that is individualized to our ever-changing needs. Also, while some of the leads that are generated through the site do not always fall within our parameters for target market, project scope or budget, it has created the opportunity for us to become a part of the greater online community of potential clients, trade partners and professionals created by Houzz.
Victoria listens. I feel my thoughts and suggestions are heard. She offers wonderful continuity and energy to our professional relationship. I appreciate her diligent follow-through and insights. Thank you!
I enjoy working with Harold Carter because he displays an earnest interest of insuring my success. He is easy to talk with, always sounds upbeat and asks the right questions intended to keep me moving forward. I would be lost and my business would become stale without his help.
Sincerely,
Martin Paul Breth, Jr
Houzz Pro is a great way to follow leads from start to finish. As a small business owner I'm always looking for efficient ways to use my time and Houzz Pro has helped in that regard. I need to be able to update my photos easily and often and trust that potential clients will find them. My client manager, Dana Taylor, enthusiastically showed me where I can see photo view stats and other important advertising info to direct my outreach.
We are a small women owned architecture firm located in San Clemente, California. Many of our projects are residential in South Orange County and North San Diego County and we have found houzz.com to be an excellent marketing partner.
Houzz allows us to post our portfolio of residential projects on line for all potential clients to see our work. I can suggest to these potential clients to look on line at houzz to see the variety of projects that we have done over time.
They can also search for Architects in their area and our name and portfolio come up for South Orange County, California and North San Diego County where most of our projects are located. Many of our clients have found us by searching on houzz.com for architects in their area.
Houzz is an amazing tool for architects to market their design services.
I have had nothing but an A+++ experience working with the team at Houzz who have helped me create a profile on their site to help me attract new clients. They have been quick to answer questions and thorough in their approach to marketing my business. Highly recommend!
We've marketed many ways; print ads, editorials, published works. But we haven't ever seen the return on investment that we've seen with Houzz. Half or slightly more than half of our clients contact us after seeing us on Houzz. Houzz works hard for its Pro's, providing an easy platform for potential clients to navigate.
As I said in the Title, effort, and money well spent!
Houzz is the premier online resource for both homeowners and all those who serve them to meet, collaborate, and educate themselves.
Houzz has elevated both the knowledge level of our clients, and our ability to service them.
As a longtime Houzz user and recent convert to Pro+, I've been very pleased with the level of service offered by our Pro representative, Brooke Willis. Regular calls (2x/month) keep me apprised of how effective our advertising is, as well as tips on how to make our profile more effective in reaching potential customers.
The service is certainly not inexpensive, but good investments rarely are. Strongly recommend!
Answer: After being hounded for years by their persistent sales team we finally committed for a year of "Pro" service for our design company. This was very expensive and yielded no solid leads after one year. For comparison, Google gave us over 3,300 referrals in a year, Instagram almost 1,000. Houzz Pro? 35. In an entire year. Less than 3 click throughs a month for $400 a month. After a year they renewed us on a month to month basis for $400 a month with no fore warning or any follow up to see what we had thought of their "service". Our Houzz Pro "dashboard" contains no information on billing, renewal terms or renewal dates. To cancel your auto renewal you have to do it on the phone, 30 days in advance. Our sales rep. No longer answers emails and will not address this issue. We are disputing this with Visa and we keep getting charged. We block Houzz Pro and next month we get billed by Houzz Advertising. Truly a terrible, parasitic, dishonest company that provides zero value. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Answer: Yes use it as you may---am part of the team. Keeping in touch with me would be the best of both worlds for me and the client.
Houzz Pro has a rating of 2.9 stars from 157 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Houzz Pro most frequently mention customer service, free trial and credit card. Houzz Pro ranks 4th among Home Remodeling sites.
