“Good site for side hustle money”

Ben J.
2/14/24

I signed up to PrizeRebel to make some extra money as a side hustle. So far it's been working out fairly well as I'm able to make a hundred dollars or so every month when I have free time to take surveys. I've cashed out through paypal, amazon gift cards and cryptocurrency. It's worth trying out when you have free time and their support team is fairly good whenever you encounter an issue and you will get a reply within 24 hours.

“Not worth your time”

Tere S.
1/26/24

After 3 days filling up surveys and spending around 4 hours in total, I only managed to collect 500 points. This points could be exchange for a $5 paypal voucher, which I requested. As soon as I did, they sent me an email claiming I had not verified my account with a proper ID and they were gonna close my account. They never asked me to do so before, nor even at the time of requesting the $5 dollars, so it all sounds like they take advantage of people to fill up surveys and then put some excuses not to pay. 1. Not reliable. 2. If you want to make $5 a week for spending 3-4 hours, go ahead, but I don't think is wirthy, specially if they gonna make some excuse not to pay you (and earn the money them selves).

I Have been a Prize Rebel user for over two years. Is this a decent place to make some extra dollars? Yes. Is this a place where one month you can earn $500 and another earn $5? Yes. Is this the easiest place to make extra money? It's one of them. Do they have great support? No. I have earned a lot during my two years. The experience has been acceptable. However, recently I have noticed an increase in 'issues' that I receive when finishing a survey. The magic in this system is that you have no recourse as PrizeRebel holds the power. My instinct has always been accurate in my life, and it's telling me that these issues are done on purpose. PrizeRebel on more than two occasions was caught in a lie for which they were commenting on a situation that I had made up, completely fabricated to see their reaction. They fell for it and fell hard, in my opinion. I would strongly suggest avoiding their OFFER WALL offers, as both times I had completed said offer, nothing was awarded. I was ignored by the offer company, and then even prize rebel didn't give a load in helping me. Plus, they issue standard responses that lack effort and tone.yes, you can make money. But is it worth the drama or lack of transparency? Up to you. I am a simple 40yo man who's been going through cancer treatments with a lot time to kill. This was fun. Worth it.

When I have first tried PrizeRebel, I did notice that it has tiers or levels of earning. It's been a while so I don't remember all of the perks of each level. I made it to Diamond (IIRC). One of the perks is that they pay out immediately.

My initial experience with PrizeRebel is that the decline rate is a bit higher than the other survey sites I've signed onto at the time. I would decline around 10 or so surveys before getting a successful one...no matter what I did. A lot of times, the survey is an automatic immediate rejection...which is not the worst. Much better than spending at least 30 minutes on what was supposed to be a 5-10 minute survey only to get declined with a bogus, dishonest excuse. Although that does happen from time to time, with every survey site. So that is more with the business that is offering the survey itself (which is pretty shady).

When it comes to payouts, I found them to be mostly reliable. At first, when I was at a lower level, I had to wait at least 24 hours to get paid. Then as I leveled up, the wait time for payouts to complete decreases. I'm at diamond level and the payouts complete within hour of request. On average it takes anywhere from a few seconds to an hour. On rare cases, there would be a message saying that they suspect something with your network so they will delay your payments for a day.

One day, my payout just doesn't come. I don't know why because there was no statement saying anything. A day passes, nothing. Another day, nothing. Meanwhile, I am reading reviews about people who have went through something similar with PrizeRebel. They say that their accounts got banned after waiting a while for their payments that should have been processed. This infuriated me.

I went and contacted them and gave them a rather scathing and threatening message. I called them out on how they did other (ex)members of the site. Shortly after that, my payout was "declined" (see fixed), and the amount was put back into my account. I requested payout some time later and actually got the money. I haven't used them since because I feel bad to this day on how I went off on them. So as far as I can tell, they are okay.

Problem with this site is... You are forced to nickle and dime your way to cashing out because any offer completed over 500 points or $5.00... even if the sponsor credits you instantly after completion Prize Rebel holds off paying you for your participation for 30 days apparently for 'security' reasons ( I tend to think it's for other reasons) considering the sponsor was fine crediting you to begin with. No other site I've been on over the years does this as in my experiences as long as the sponsor credits then you get payed. This makes me not want to do any of the larger offers because i for one like to see results sooner rather than later for participating.

Hi. I just finished a livesample survey but I didn't receive my points. This has happened a lot. I was wondering why I didn't receive my points yet. Sometimes I do get my points but I have to wait like an hour or so.

I have been using this site for a few months now and can make about $5 dollars per day, which should be $20 per day but you get disqualified at the end of most of their surveys and won't get the credit. I was able to get the first $100 easy, but after that it is slim pickins and they will randomly do security checks and this will cause your instant rewards to be delayed with little to no explanation, One lady named Susan L who sends generic responses without any type of help. My advise would be take advantage of any offers to get you to gold but don't expect this site to keep paying you down the road. Swagbucks is well worth the 7 day wait to receive paypal because you get credited for almost all the surveys and they don't do random security checks on your account which can cause delays in payments. Overall a 3 out of 6 but without this security issue this site would be a 4 out of 5 as swagbucks is. Good luck all, this site isn't worth the amount of hours spent to make $300.

I've used this site for roughly 8 years, made over $1,000 from it and loved it. Until lately. Now it's just survey crap that you most likely won't get credited for if you don't hit a really specific target audience. Now they have ones you have to 'virtually' browse a store and unless your PC is great, it will end up crashing. Very sad to see this site go this way since they still make money even if you fail to meet the demographic.

I'll still give it a three because they do legit pay out if you can manage to get enough points, but now it's near impossible. You can spend 40 minutes doing a survey, and oh, one wrong opinion and you're lucky if they give you. 01 points. Aka a penny. Not worth the time anymore sadly, Used to make 20 bucks a day on the site now I can't make that in a year thanks to their lack of anything but surveys that don't qualify people very often.

This website reminds me a lot of one of its fellow competitors, Swagbucks, they seem to borrow several things from each other, so if you have been using Swagbucks, PrizeRebel should be easy to pick up, vice-versa. I will say PrizeRebel has a much better selection of rewards, referring gets you about twice of what swagbucks would get you and the site itself looks really nice, unfortunately, well to me at least, PrizeRebel seems to demand more time and effort than Swagbucks, for instance Swagbucks has a better selection of videos, mobile apps to do offers on the go, daily polls, etc.

But if you do decide to join Prize Rebel, feel free to use my referal link: http://www.prizerebel.com/index.php?r=CNShawarma
