Pretty much OK, only point of improvement is the coverage in national park regions. Might be difficult though, as placing cell masts could effect nature/environment in these areas.
I bought a prepaidzoro simcard for internetconnection. 3 GB. I got only 2g internet in different states (california, new york, also in the big cities). It worked, but very slow. Paid 30 euro for 3 GB, used only 50 MB in three weeks because of the slow internet. Could not get 3G orr 4G, although I tried several times. Did'nt get an answer from prepaid zero. Very Bad!
SIM card did not work in US. Prepaidzero promised to refund but they never did, even though I requested it several times.
Dear Kaj, we are sorry for the delay in your specific case. I can confirm that the refund was just processed to your PayPal account. Our apologies for the inconveniences.
If you rent from Prepaidzero be prepared for lousy service and lousy products. My sim did not work on my trip around the world and it was not possible to contact the helpdesk in any way.
Prepaidzero does not offer WiFi rentals at this time. We only offer a MiFi device which you can buy. May I ask to receive your order number? So we can look at the order you placed. We didn't find any support ticket under your name "Frans" concerning problems with a MiFi device.
Worked better in the UK, very slow coverage in the Netherlands. Had to switch around the mobile network constantly to source a workable speed eventually settling on Tele 2.
Worked great during our trip in Europe.
We visited Germany, France, the UK and the Netherlands.
Only switched the sim card and all worked automatically from then.
Very convenient sim card that worked for us in France, Germany, UK and Italy. Internet service was automatically available in each country at 3G speeds.
We bought a 10Gb Vodafone data SIM for a two month trip through Europe. Normally we buy data SIMs in each country, but with ten countries to cover we went with a Europe-wide SIM, despite the price. The SIM went in a Netgear Mifi unit to serve two iPhones and a laptop. For most of the trip we got 4G coverage.
However, we used the 10 Gb before 30 days and topped up the SIM with another 10Gb/30 days. However, 30 days after the original purchase, the SIM deactivated. We contacted PrepaidZero by phone from Slovenia. There was no quibbling, and a new SIM was shipped by UPS from Amsterdam to our campsite in Slovenia, which took a couple of days to arrive. Plugged the SIM in and we were up and running again.
PrepaidZero seems to be a company that is trying hard to improve. The Vodafone Europe SIM is good. The back office at PrepaidZero ranges from poor to good. The people on the phone are nice. Do not shout at Dutch people - it will reduce the service you get.
The company never sent the SIM Card. I mean not ever. Wasn't received before I left, and wasn't in the mail when I returned.
We found it to be a fantastic solution while traveling in California.
Our smartphones and table were connected all the time.
Much better than looking for public WiFi that never works!
The USA unlimited product that we used was very good.
Always 4G in Miami and the rest of Florida.
Really recommend it for internet in the USA.
I bought a sim card only data and the minirouter for China for having always WI FI available. The sim card at the moment of attivation was completely low balance. Never again
Dear Patrizio,
It seems that something went wrong for your order.
Hereby our apologies for the missing credit on your sim card.
Support will be in touch with you to resolve this asap.
Unfortunately we didn't receive a report during your trip. Otherwise we could have resolved this for you while you were in your trip.
It's always best to contact us as soon as possible, so we can resolve the issue for you during your trip.
In that case you might had been satisfied instead of disappointed.
I bought a prepaid card for the usa. I followed the instructions. When I came in the USA the card was not activated. After one day trying the telephone, I got connected with the phone company and they said that they could activate. I got a phone number but no money and no data or textconnection. In stead of it I got messages that I had to pay money to use it. I mailedt with prepaidzero. To ask what was wrong. This took 2 days. I had to call to get an answer. Costs a lot of money(For me at midnight otherwise they weren't open). At the end sorry we did something wrong, you get your money back. The request to put money on the phone number they wouldn't do that. They were suprised that I was not in the mood to give mij credricardnumber for a card which was activated in for me not clear meanings
At the end 3 days of anger, costs for telephonecalls, no sleep (contact in at night) no phone, no data and higher costs for calling with my old number..
We had one of Prepaidzero's sim card from the Vodafone brand.
Did it's job well in Europe and offered the promised 4G speed (see attached screenshot)
Helaas had ik buiten LA geen ontvangst; ik reed de route LA-Grand Canyon-Monument Valley-Mesa Verde-Rocky Mountains-Arches NP-Lake Powell-Zion NP-Death Valley-Yosemite NP-Highway 1... nergens ontvangst! Dure tegenvaller (ZTE MF65 + T-Mobile 3GB)!

Going to Australia for two months, we thought we had made a nice deal by buying two sim-cards, each 35$ datas + 10$ calls. It seemed simple and clear.
But these are the bad points about it:
1. Didn't get any network the 3 first days. After few emails with the client service, they discoverd a "problem" with the bundle, and corrected it. +2 days waiting...
2. It was never explained before the purchase that for each outcall you want to make, you need first to call a number, and then enter the number you wish to call.
That means that you can not call from your contacts, you must first write the number on a piece of paper or try to memorize all your contacts numbers... really not handy!
3. In cities or in the bush, 75% of the time, we got internet, but we couldn't call. That can bring you in some delicate situations...
For the money, we are not satisfied with what we got. Yes, the client service is ok, they reply quite fast, but the product is not what you expect.
I would not recommend it.
Hello Julie, thank you for your feedback. Our newest sim cards for Australia (since April 2015) no longer require to call through an access number (point 2) that you mentioned. Indeed it's more convenient to dial the numbers from your contact list directly, without having to call an access number at first. Which is now possible as of April 2015.
We did w two-week roadtrip ine West Coast of the US and thought it would be clever to buy data SIM card in advance. So we bought the AT%T card from Prepaidzero with 3 gigabytes of data. BUT:
A) The SIM card did not allow making the phone a hoptspot, which was naturally our plan. They do not really advertize this on their website, but when I contacted them they said I shuold be using a gadget (separate hotspot/router) they sell. Why on earth should I do that? I why on earth is it limited this way?
B) Overall connectivity was not that good. I understand that between Beatty and Tonopah in the middle of desert in Nevada, but it dod not perform very well in cities either. I understand it was a UK SIM card so maybe this was due to the fact that we were indeed roaming in there and the data may even have been circulated through UK?!?
All in all, I think you can easily manage by purchasing your data connection after you arrive. At lest it cannot be much worse than this. Or if you know you only need it for one device and stay inside cities then why not, if you want to save the trouble of having to visit a shop in the US.
Hi Tommi!
Thank you very much for your review.
I hope to clarify a few points:
Concerning your points A and B.
A: In the product summary for this product you can find that "Tethering" is not supported.
B: The AT&T - 3 GB package is currently on 2G/3G speed, which is also mentioned in the product description. For LTE/4G we have the 1 GB package (at the time of this review)
I bought a complete set Mifi with 12gb simcard for the month of June. I received the set in Holland, but couldn't test it in Holland because otherwise the simcard will be activeted.
The lady of the support service, told me It is easy, "when you arrive in LA and put the Mifi on, it will work Immmediately"?< However nothing worked!. And I had to log in and activate my simcard? I did and the system informed me to wait for 8-till 36 hours?
I couldn't log in, as my Android phone didn't regognize the MIFI? Than the coverage in the US very very bad mostely 2/3 of the 4 weeks "no Signal" and when there was a signal only 2G and in LA and Las vegas 3G...
Afetr be back to Holland, I worte a complaint letter on 2-7-2017 and now 11-7-2017 no any reply?
Oh, I tried to call them while I was in US, no reply only answering machines...
Bad product bad service...

I got the card pretty fast after my order, everything seemed professional. I specifically asked what the APN settings had to be for data connection and got a quick reply that everything should just work, the sim should configure itself.
I have a brand new 4G mobile router that works very well in Belgium. Despite their assurance I did research a little what the Vodafone APN settings should be just in case, and it was a good thing I did, after arriving in Greece the router made a stable connection to the Vodafone network (I got some Greek SMSes) but did not give any internet, I waited an hour or so thinking it had to be registered or something but nothing, then I entered the APN settings I found myself and hey presto I was on-line sending emails and checking Facebook. So don't trust that it will be plug and play, find the network they use and get the settings for that just in case. Other than that it was a good service and I was happy to have mobile internet even though free wifi was wildly available in Crete
Dear Hugo, thank you for your time writing a review.
The Greek sim cards require apn settings when used with mifi devices only.
We now added these details to our instruction paper.
For smartphones/tablets it is never required to change apn settings (with this sim card)
Answer: Hi Helen Hayes, Thank you for contacting us. When you get the message "sim not valid" it typically happens because the phone is not unlocked. It will then mark the sim as "not valid" because your device only works with your own provider from which the phone was supplied. In such cases it's best to contact your regular provider to see if they can help you removing the network lock. If the phone is already unlocked, please let us know through customer support and we'll go further from there.
PrepaidZero has a rating of 2.5 stars from 72 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with PrepaidZero most frequently mention sim card, phone number and bad service. PrepaidZero ranks 4th among Phone Card sites.
Thank you for your comment. Our AT&T sim cards work on 2G/3G speed. We do have T-Mobile sim cards that work on 4G/LTE, which offer a higher speed.
