An item was on back order...

An item was on back order... so the entire order took over a week to ship... I just would've like to have gotten an update. It was explained when I called, but it would be nice to get an email or know the status of in stock or out of stock items when the order is being placed. Especially since In getting almost daily emails regarding sales and new items.

We ordered two slim line flouresent lights and they arrived very fast, the problem was I ordered the wrong size. We called and ordered the right size and they came right away. We sent the old ones back with the return form on the internet. Super easy and the everything worked right out of the box.

Packing was not up to standard

Packing was not up to standard. The staples holding the shipping box end flaps together had all ripped out, allowing what ever small parts that where included to fall out. I have no idea if this happened because there was no paperwork telling me what was shipped nor a list of what was actually shipped.

We reluctantly ordered a new furnace for our 1988 Avion Travel Trailer. (We didn't want to spend the money and were afraid that the new unit would be a hassle to install.) PPL had the lowest price on the internet. My husband was able to remove the original furnace and install the new furnace in about an hour and it works perfectly! We could not be happier. We were shocked at the delivery time, 2 days for ground shipping. I've always had the best results when shopping at PPL. I've purchased more items for an RV than most since this is the second travel trailer we are restoring and I'm the parts buyer. PPL is honest and reliable which is more than I can say for a lot of other RV parts suppliers out there.

My order was shipped out the same day I placed our order, WOW. Received the package on time with FedEx also sent a e-mail when package was dropped off. Great service, will be ordering again from ppl.

I ordered something that had to be returned

I ordered something that had to be returned. 2 vent covers that cost me 55 dollars to return but only cost 45 dollars to purchase. In the future is it possible to receive a shipping label from PPL since i`m sure you get a much better rate? I know some companies do this or it might be better to purchase locally. Other than that the experience with PPL was spot on. Thanks Chuck DeBartolomeis
