I have ordered 2 puzzles from here. The first one came out great, just a little thinner than I expected. However, the second one was terrible. The fronts and backs were peeling off on more than half of the pieces. And many of the pieces were not even cut apart. Hardly the high quality they advertise.
I received a 1008 piece puzzle of my grandchildren for my birthday and absolutely love it! The puzzle pieces were sturdy and of varying shapes so that only the correct pieces would interlock. (I have other puzzles in which all the pieces are identically shaped, and it not only makes for a boring puzzle, but it is nearly impossible to tell if some of the pieces are correctly placed.) The completed puzzle is a high quality picture that is now framed and hanging in my den. I would highly recommend this product!
Very fast shipping time, I received my puzzle four days after ordering it with the standard shipping option. I ordered the 1,000 piece puzzle with the upgraded tin. The puzzle pieces are great quality, they feel like any other puzzle pieces purchased from a store. The tin was definitely worth the upgrade as it feels solid and has a great look to it.
At first I was leery due to not many reviews and wondered about quality since they advertise they ship the next day. But I am very happy with the result and would order from them again.
I created a collage of a friend's engagement pictures and sent the file in to Portrait Puzzles on a Tuesday and received the package on that Saturday! The product is great and I'm so happy I paid the little extra for the tin box. Can't wait to give this unique gift to the bride at her bridal shower. They are avid puzzlers and know they'll love it! When I initially uploaded my photo I had a question about its resolution. Typically when corresponding via email with a customer service team, I wait a few hours for a response. With PortraitPuzzles I received a friendly and helpful reply almost immediately!
I chose the least expensive shipping option, and the puzzle still arrived in a mere few days. The puzzle is a picture of the entire staff of the office where I work. When my coworkers and I completed the 1008 piece puzzle, we were sad to discover 2 pieces were missing. I reached out to customer service again, in case there was a chance they could replace pieces. I wasn't sure if we lost them, or if the pieces were missing to begin with. The former seemed more likely. No matter, Ashley on the customer service team responded (immediately) and told me she would be sending us a new puzzle, at no charge! Amazing!
The puzzle itself is of great quality, and comes in a super cute box!

Pieces fit together nicely. Easy to upload picture. Couldn't believe I received the puzzle about a week after it was ordered.
The website was convenient, the puzzle printed quickly, and right on their advertised delivery schedule. The photo enlargement looks good.
HOWEVER: The card stock the puzzle was printed on was AWFUL; practically paper egg carton quality. Furthermore, while the box the puzzle came in had a nice photo of the puzzle on top, was so poorly manufactured as to be difficult to open, and has an advertisement for the company stuck to the side of it.
I'm now stuck between testing their return policy and having no gift to give, or having to give a shoddy feeling gift. I have not yet tried any of the competitors to compare.
I like the variety of sizes to make your custom puzzle just the way you want. Also when seeing this company was local, made the decision easy to make. Thanks
After receiving a puzzle you gift at Christmas we were quite impressed. As avid puzzlers we have several friends we wanted to send a gift to. After placing an order which I thought I had deleted I went on to place another order.
When I reviewed my order I did not see that the original one had not been deleted. When I received my confirmation via email I saw that the price was double. I am mediately sent them an email after trying to find a phone number to cancel the original order They said it was too late and I'm saying it was within 30 minutes of the order. But it wasn't too late for them to have already withdrawn the money. And they said they couldn't cancel an order that was personalized but I thought that was what puzzle you was all about all of them are personalized right? Anyway I feel like I've been scammed and robbed and I would never ever recommend them to anybody

Not photo quality. The picture looks like it was printed on a cheap inkjet with the quality set to the lowest position. Not glossy. The pieces seem fairly thick. I expect it to go together well but image quality was disappointing.

Ordered a large puzzle for a special event at our church. It arrived way quicker then I expected and it even better then I expected.

The USPS crushed the box that it was shipped in. I contacted the company and they replace the box free of charge.
Turn around time was really quick! And the image looks great! I purchased one for my daughter, and one for my mother and they were both really pleased.
The quality is outstanding! The customer service is excellent! Our small town Main Street organization ordered 100 puzzles for a Christmas event. In addition to fabulous quality and customer service, the puzzles arrived within a week. These guys are amazing!

Misleading website. I uploaded the picture I wanted printed on a puzzle, and it uploaded just fine. I reviewed the picture, confirmed that it was how I wanted it, and a week later, I received a puzzle that had half of the picture chopped off. I contacted customer service, and they basically told me "sorry you didn't see the fine print, but we have the right to crop your picture as we see fit. Merry Christmas."
Now my brother and his wife (puzzle enthusiasts) get a puzzle that has his best man and several friends chopped out of the picture because of "my" mistake.
Najd, What you describe is BAD service, and unacceptable to us. In some cases we have to trim a bit to make the puzzle fit the dimensions of your puzzle, but never should we crop a person out of the photo. I emailed every online jigsaw puzzle maker and portraitpuzzles.com response, courtesy, professionalism and customer service was THE best! I ordered a 35X47" puzzle and was astounded with the quality of what I received. I highly recommend them.

The walked me through the process of putting together a collage with acceptable quality, confirmed that my picture was acceptable and shipped within 1 business day.
