Just back from 5 nights and can only sing the highest praises for Portland Roads. We took a Luxury Escape deal on the Due West and was briefed by ***. The boat has EVERYTHING you need and all to the highest of standards. *** tells you how to handle things, where the best places are to visit, to swim and snorkel. If you follow instructions you can't go wrong. We'll be back for sure.
An amazing trip!
We booked this almost 2 years ago and finally the dates arrived. We booked Lucy with 4 couples, heaps of room, Lucy performed awesome and was present faultlessly.
We had a totally wonderful week aboard Lucy last week. It was smooth sailing from booking online to boarding and back. Dean gave us an informative, thorough brief based on the boat, safety, places to Moore for the night, best and safest snorkeling and swimming places and lots more. We did some fantastic snorkeling, great sailing, we mostly self catered and simply enjoyed each others company in some extremely beautiful places.
It was suggested to us by Dean not swim in Cyd Harbour and we certainly did not however we did spend hours in the water at other beaches.
Such a fantastic experience. Mark's professionalism and great advice regarding places to visit and routes to take, made our holiday an unforgettable one.

Doing it with a Skipper is one thing; but they let you take out these beautiful boats on your own - And the experience is amazing! This was my third trip to the Whitsundays, but my first time with Portland Roads. This is my first ever review of a holiday because l wanted to yell - WOW!

Wonderful 5 days on "Southern Man".
4 couples were very comfortable. The catamaran is very stable and is equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Our skipper and his "crew" found the boat very easy to manage and were experts after a very comprehensive induction by *** who could not do enough for us, including collecting us from the airport and return. The Whitsundays are an unforgettable experience, from the clear blue waters of Whitehaven beach to the many sightings of whales very close to our vessel. Loved every minute. We will be back!

Due West, what can I say... Sensational in every aspect! The amenities aboard are second to none from the appliances and decor, through to the instrumentation and sail quality. The boat was immaculately presented and a joy to be aboard. As for the lo action, how could anyone ask for more than the Whitsundays. If I had to give a score out of 10,11 would seem a little too low! Great job by all at Portland Roads! We will be back for more.
Absolutely incredible week, one the best holidays weve been on. Completely unique experience staying on the water, saw dolphins, whales and turtles. Super easy going and helpful staff- cant wait to book in again.
This has been on my bucket list for years. I found a deal on Luxury Escapes and what more can l say. My bucket is ready to be filled all over again. Portland Roads was amazing, the Whitsundays extraordinary and our briefer *** was a delight. I have never holidayed in the same place twice, this is all about to change.
