Their response to my inquiry was very quick. They knew exactly what I needed even though I wasn't sure. I will order from them again. Highly recommend.
I went to Google search looking for a replacement screen for my Galaxy S6 active,, they advertised one for around $28.00 it said "FREE SHIPPING" so I went to checkout, and it had a $5.00 charge for shipping what they advertised as FREE... So I cancelled the purchase, I sent them an Email and they responded that you have to spend $30. To get the FREE shipping, CROOKED, DECEIVING, and LIARS!
My phone screen broke and I ordered for a new screen off of this website so I would not have to buy a whole new screen. Until the next day without me checking the reviews first, l told my dad and he was not too happy with me buying off of this unreliable scam website, he also told me to pay attention to my bank account, I kept checking and thought everything was going to be fine until March 13th I saw that somebody have made purchases under my name, a little over $200, I don't have a lot of money, I am under the age of 18! To whoever reads this and purchased something off of Phone Remedies, check your bank account daily! Buying their items are not good enough for them and they think they need your bank account to buy stuff also!
Oh and in addition to the reader from Phone Remedies, I have filed a complaint for your internet crimes and have included the full title of your business. This review is not the only place I complained to, thanks to you I have to wait longer and work twice as hard to get my vehicle on the road. Hope you feel happy for now, because you will be shut down, I promise you that.
All item parts were in packaged and quick delivery. I wish there were instructions including but I was able to Youtube and repaired my ipad.
I attempted to buy a iPhone 5c repair kit and they made it look like it came with the glass, which I was trying to fix for my phone.
"This product does not come with instructions it only prompted you to go on YouTube. So you're only getting tools to open your iPhone. The supposed glass protector feels like plastic, flimsy. I would not recommend this product for the value. And be aware if you attempt to return this product you will be charged a restore fee and if you open the little plastic bag that contains the tools they will be a fee for that too."
I tried to submit this review, and they did not add it to their reviews. Wish suggest that all the reviews on their website are fake.
I actually was dumb enough to buy a tempered glass screen protector and a rubber with hard case iPhone protector. These also were terrible qualities. The glass protector was missing the front cover that was indicated in the instructions of the actual product. That he sieve on the back was terrible, one corner keeps peeling off. And the iPhone protector I refuse to use it for the quality is so terrible the plastic on it is not even finish painted. And it is super thin, that I rather stay with my original protector.
Advise everybody to stay away from this company!
Item did not come with everything listed. However, in order to exchange, you must pay for the shipping and have everything from the purchase-- EVEN IF THE ITEM DID NOT COME WITH IT. If you want to return, you have to pay for both shipping and a 20% re-stocking fee. Do not purchase unless you want to be ripped off.
Followed their terrible instructions and broke my phone, now I have to replace my phone.
They provided no video to help either.
Phoneremedies.com -- like most small businesses -- have no idea what business they are in: they absolutely think that they are "in the phone parts business" when they are really in the customer experience business.
You have to know EXACTLY what parts you need. If not, you can get an exchange or order more parts from phoneremedies.com. But you'll lose an additional 5+ days and about $10 in shipping if that happens.
I thought that ordering a new screen would be enough; however, I also needed a new LCD and didn't realize that until after opening my phone with the toolkit I got from phoneremedies.com.
Even that would have been okay because, before opening my phone, it had worked perfectly even with a shattered screen. But opening my phone with the shattered screen caused it to become inoperative.
And so I had to waste 45 minutes going to the post office in order to send back the replacement screen. I had to contact phoneremedies.com twice before getting a reply. All-in-all the additional delays cost me 10 additional days without my phone.
I am an amateur. I know nothing about phone repair. All I know is that I dropped my phone and caused my glass screen to fracture.
The nearest repair shop in Manhattan is about 45 minutes away by subway and that company wanted $99 to repair my phone. I have no idea if the $99 quote would have covered the full repair or if I would have had to lay out more money.
I was okay not having a working phone that for 3 or 4 days to save some money. But having to wait 2 weeks is outrageous!
STAY AWAY! The first problem was phoneremedies.com didn't send the replacement screen. They charged me, but the screen was not sent. After contacting customer service, the screen was sent. Total time so far was almost 2 weeks. The second problem was the screen arrived but was the wrong screen. The screen was about 2 mm too wide and 2 mm too tall. After several emails with customer service (no phone number, only email), phoneremedies.com said they could send "the right screen with digitizer" for $85 plus shipping. The original item was $25 plus shipping. I asked for a return. The third problem was they didn't send a refund until a month later and kept the shipping even though they sent the wrong item. I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the shipping charge.
I wish I had checked reviews before doing, but I figured the company was local to me, so, I could always go to their office if there was any issues. The phoneremedies IS NOT is Vista, CA. Their address is a UPS store. Based on the fact that they only send emails around 10 to 11 PM PST, the "company" is likely not in the USA.
This is the third time I've needed to repair my LG K20 V screen. The first two times I ordered repair kits off Amazon. It's a tedious repair, but it can be done with the right tools and some patience. I made the mistake of believing the reviews on the Phone Remedies website, which are (now) obviously fake.
The Phone Remedies kit I received was awful from the beginning. The screwdriver broke in half while I was unscrewing the cover, the plastic spudgers were already dull, and wore down so badly while removing the motherboard (a really simple step) that it was impossible to remove the screen with them. I got a nasty gash when the spudger folded over on itself while I was removing the screen. This also tore up the LCD. The adhesive tape wouldn't even come off the no-stick backing- not that it mattered at that point.
Then, when I complained, their customer service tried to upsell me to the LCD repair kit as "an easier repair." Like it was user error, and not the fact that their kit was useless.
Mark Wallace did a really great job! He was efficient, effective, and was very pleasant. Will shop here again!
It was a perfect fit for me thank you fast and friendly service I will order again. Order came quick and speedy and the repair was successful.
This place is a joke. I bought a screen for my phone and it never came with the package. I DONT recommend this place for any one anywhere total POS
I'm writing this in the hopes it protects another consumer from being bullied by this company. Below is a copy of the complaint I ended up filing with the Better Business Bureau and my bank to dispute the charges. After informing them I had planned to do so they emailed me back less than ten minutes later (at 11pm EST) stating they were giving me a full refund. Amazing what happens when you stand up to bullies. This just happened so I have not seen the refund on my bank statement. We'll see.
Complaint Details
--On 2/10 I ordered a glass screen protector and a replacement digitizer kit from this merchant. The order qualified for free shipping with an estimated shipping window of 2-5 day delivery. My order summary showed two tracking numbers. The screen protector arrived within the shipping window, but with a hairline crack, no instructions, and improper packaging. --The kit for the digitizer arrived next but did not contain the correct items. I emailed the merchant immediately after the broken screen protector requesting a refund for the item. I sent photos of the packaging and the items received. The merchant did not acknowledge my request at first nor did the merchant inform me of additional packages. I asked several times as to where my missing item was. I sent screenshots of my order summary and what the website advertises as included in the kit. --Frustrated at the merchant still not including my return label 3 days after my initial request and still missing items, I requested a full refund of all items. The digitizer arrived later the same day, 8 days after my order was placed. It arrived with no instructions, improper packaging, and none of the additional missing components. In response, the merchant attached a return label and suggested I purchase a MORE expensive piece of equipment alleging it was "easier" and I would "avoid restocking fees". --I informed them I no longer wished to do business with them due to the damaged and incomplete items. The merchant finally offers to send missing items and replace the broken item but still refuses to offer a full refund. The merchant has been misleading and incorrectly states that their refund policy is transparently located on their website. The website incorrectly details the items. --The merchant is trying to require me pay the "free shipping" from the various arrivals, the shipping to return the items, and a 20% restocking fee. --I have tried to be reasonable and I do not feel like I am in the wrong. Other consumer complaints confirm this merchant continually behaves unprofessionally.
So yeah. Know your rights! Keep copies of everything.
Hopefully this company will adjust their behavior in the future.
Answer: Legit company. Good customer service. I don't think it's a scam, it's a business.
