I looked up my fiance it past history it said he was a sex offender which he is not and has never been in trouble for it so I cancelled my service they charged my bank anyway and I called them back and told them I had cancelled they told me I was wrong I lied and never canceled. I finally got them to return my money. They told me that it puts every person with my Vince's name on his records check. The fa t is their misinformation can cause break ups and worse things to happen.

My brother and I were looking for basic information to gather for his passport. In researching his name and looking at some of his past history that we knew about would surely show up on his information never did. However, information of another person with the same name down to same middle name showed up in my brother's information along with this other person criminal history, who he was married to but not my brothers information. I called the company and I couldn't get out what I was telling the guy about what I saw before he said that there company pull all the data and it's mixed in together with other peoples personal information and you have to weed everything out by court number and some other bull crap and then you get charged for that. Not worth the time and aggravation to have to sort through your personal information from someone else's. Of course we cancel the same day.

Persopo should be shut down! I paid $19.99 and they only give me info that I already knew. I called the customer service the lady that I spoke to sounds like she already memorized everything that she needs to say to a disappointed customer. She said base on what she's seeing on her computer everything is available to view that I just need to restart my laptop, personal computer, my iPhone and work computer in order for me to view the information that she'll be able to view. Yes I used 4 device. WTF! I asked for a full refund but they won't give it to me. For that moment there I already knew it's a scam! I'm so pissed!

I know I don't have a power to shut you down but someday you will all get it! Karma karma karma!

Signed up for a trial with 3 different websites: Instant Checkmate, Persopo, and PeopleFinders to see what I could find. They mostly seemed to have about the same information. What I liked about this website is that because I mixed up the days I ended up being put into the monthly rate by all of them! When I called up ICM they ended up passing me around to at least 10 people before someone could issue a partial refund which is absolutely ridiculous! Over a week later I'm STILL waiting for some manager to call me back with the supposed resolution. Had a similar but not as dramatic interaction with PF, only had to yell at 4 people to get my money back. With these guys, I spoke with 1 girl. She listened to my mixup went to talk with her supervisor, came back and had the permission to give me a full refund! I wasn't transferred even once! This speaks volumes and I will NEVER go anywhere else! Love these guys <3

I called customer service and to my surprise unlike many companies and organizations I was able to speak to a human being and not a computer. Customer service was easy to reach. I was recently a victim of Identity theft. The retailer (Target, the perpetrator used my name and SSN to purchase a Target Red Card and made purchases online) gave me information about the fraudulent account to include a shipping address used for online purchases. Persopo helped me make a connection with the shipping address to someone I work with (the suspects grandfather lives there). It was money well spent!

(against my better instincts) I paid with my credit card for "introduction" on a Sunday night and due to time differences I called then Monday morning asking to cancel and they made me pay over $10.00 and promised a refund. I hope I get it and please learn from my experience- STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! I just want to get away from this experience as unscathed as possible. The information was useless and very nil at best with many errors. Waiting time does not provide more information. Please learn from my mistake.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do not, i repeat DO NOT give them your banking information! I called customer service last month to cancel my subscription. I got my bank statement today just for this website to pop up with a charge of $30. I called customer service for the second time and the representative was very rude. He said he would refund my money and send me a cancellation e-mail but so far I have not received an email from them, nor have I received my refund for this month and last month. You give them your bank information and you will have to change your account number because they will charge you each month even though you called to say you want to cancel your subscription.

They say that customer services is their priority? Their customer service representatives are rude and unprofessional. They talk over when you ask them a question, they don't answer a question when you finally get in a word edgewise. If I could give them a negative number I would. If you can't listen to your customer complaint without getting defensive then you shouldn't be in customer service. You listen to the customer and then talk and propose solutions, not talk over them and never let them speak.

Stay away from this company. They are only interested in your money and not in assisting you with what they claim to do as a service to you as a customer.

Buyer beware. I just got off the phone with a jackhole named Elijah (maybe?) from Persopo that attempted to treat me like a bafoon that has no life experience. Literally screaming at, and talking over me through the entire 40 minute "conversation".

Their practice is to promise that you will get search results within 3 days of an inquiry. This is a lie. I was remiss in that I didn't cancel the membership immediately. They took my $19.97 per month for two years after I tried to cancel after six months. I'm going to attempt to get a Charge Back against this company for what they have fraudulently taken from me.

All I can say is, read reviews, go anywhere but here to seek historical information on anyone that you need REAL info on. This is info from another disconcerting review that I cut and pasted here.
