“Free to play MMOs have been around for some time now...”

Free to play MMOs have been around for some time now but none of them have been very successful as compared to world of warcraft or other types of subscription models. Perfectworld has mostly developed free MMO games in china ( http://www.pwrd.com) and now has developed online D&D franchise Neverwinter for the US market. It has been very well received by almost all MMO reviewers and I just wanted to review the actual website here. Perfectworld is a very legit site and you can easily buy online currency called Zen for any of their games on the site. The one trick I would say to use is to NOT buy Zen directly from the site and instead by zen from other websites such as http://www.ultimategamecard.com/ because there you can get an extra 15% of Zen. Or sign up to be on the perfect world mailing list they will give you bonus zen offers. You have nothing to lose on the games, they are all free and you don't even need a credit card to sign up.

“Loved the games - Shady business practice from the company.”

I had an order for the 'Founder' edition of NWO from PWE. The founder edition came with little items from their other games - now, I redeemed them and had been playing PWE for a while before leaving it due to issues with net connections and falling out of it for other games I could play offline. When I was finally able to return to PWE I found all the items I had from my founder edition from NWO that were redeemed with this game were gone, and my account had been wiped. No warning emails or anything from them, just all my leveled characters gone along with my items. No response from their CS when I contacted in to find out what could be done to recover my stuff. Sadly I couldn't remember the names of each character either since I chose more unique names for this game so everything was fully lost. I did verify my account information since it was the same as my NWO account as well since it's all the same company. Shady that they'd delete something that's a paid item from them from a pack that cost well over 200$ in total. I was given my pack as a gift from some friends who pooled together to get it for me for a birthday/Christmas present combined so I was pretty annoyed to find out I lost a lot of items that came with the pack.

PerfectWorld is a beautiful game. It has a huge range of character's customization, well-designed places and a big map which can be completely explored. The best-looking MMO I've ever seen. It has some problems though, especially with the class balance, which is really hard to find. And it PerfectWorld is a fantasy-based massively multiplayer gaming experience, offering gamers deep levels of avatar customization and player-created content. Deeply rooted in Chinese mythology, the game features custom flying mounts, dynamic skill progression, and high-level replay value in the form of territory wars.
