I found nothing on the person i would like a full refund the address is not up to date i can find the same info on goggle for free i fill like ive been scammed out of my money i want my money back today

In my search for people residing in a particular block of homes, I found People Finders to be not always accurate in its addresses, phone numbers, and emails. When I finally located people, the numbers and emails were frequently different from those listed, and there were many people I could not locate at all.

I am also dissatisfied with their billing practices. They have a come-on of 95 cents, but if you do not cancel within 3 days you are automatically charged $24.95. (I cancelled within 6 days, thinking that the limit was 7, as with similar services.) I have found other person locators to be much more up-front and much less costly. I will never use PeopleFinders again.

I tested their service and it seemed to have ok data, but once I was locked into a 3 month contract by their manager * the hit rate dropped to less than 10%!
I'm stuck in a $1200 contract, lost my customer over it, and can't use their service. After multiple requests to help, * finally got back to me and said I'm stuck in the contract and he won't let me out! A reputable company would have discontinued the contract. I'm reporting them to the attorney general for fraud.

Looking up relatives fiance who had questionable past. Outdated details came up. Paid for more details and got zero. Paid extra for it to be emailed to me & got one page not including report. No response from customer service. Looked up myself and my brother. Wrong details there as well.

Inital test search was on myself. Certinaly I would know accuracy of data provided. >80% erronous data received. If someone were searching out info on me they'd be provided mostly erronious data. No value whatsoever to searcher. Could contradict true info provided for whatever reason prompted search in first place. It's hoped no one uses this site for serious backround checks, credit, criminal backround, address, phone #, relitives or any other pertinent info.

I had someone trying to scam me so I used the service to look up to see who it was stammer had their number spoofed and it could not be located so I simply called the customer and the gentleman was glad to help me they cancelled my account and did not charge me for the one lookup I don't know what can be done about finding the sorry scammers number when they hide it like that. I give their customer service an A + though. It did not take but a minute to get to talk to a live person and he had me taken care of in less than 3 minutes. To me that is hard to beat. It was 50 times easier than leaving this review and that is a fact!

One day my bank came to me about a suspicious credit card charge of $50.75 under CFK*PEOPLEFINDERS. Never use the service, never even heard about the company name. God knows how they managed to get hold of my credit card details. This reeks of scam and unauthorized behaviour.

I was trying to find out whether a distant cousin had passed away. I had nobody to contact to inquire, so I tried People Finders. I knew his age and his address, and that he owned his home. No phone though, and no one to contact. What I got back was that 7 different people owned his house (at the same time). As to relatives, they listed almost 200 people, none of which I recognized. The only piece of new information was that he had 1 traffic stop for a broken tail light. No mention of a death, though I now know for certain that he did die this month.

This website states that "There are many reasons to conduct a people search. Many people need to obtain or verify a current address or phone number." and "Whatever your reason, PeopleFinders can help you find people, lookup phone numbers, and to learn more about an individual's background with criminal records, bankruptcies, foreclosures, court records, and more." Their data base is NOT current a demonstrated when I looked up a friend's new address she had been at for a month. I paid them approx $10.75 because I saw the words 'current address' and was taken in. Their 'customer service' refused a refund even though I pointed exactly the same thing out. Unfortunately the BBB didn't help me either? So AVOID these leeches like the plague!

Terrible. Dollar her, dollar there... Didn't even know that I was being charged bc it wasn't clear about charging me for what I was I quiting about. I paid... The. Clicked about reading up on subject... Well if you charge extra then say it, show it... And let me confirm 5hstvi know I am paying for what I thought was included.
Basic... Plan... I got charged for... Then charged YET AGAIN... So basically I paid to Google something... thsts how basic and vague thier info is... Pathetic... Oh well... Live and learn not to trust these on line phone /people/emai look ups... Just a waatw of my time and money...

I joined for a month for the purpose of tracking down an ex girlfriend that was harassing me and I needed information for the sheriff to serve her. I tried to cancel the next month and for some reason it would not cancel and I was charged almost 4 months more before I was finally able to get on and cancel it. Not really sure if it's canceled or not we will see you at the end of this month. The information is so outdated. I checked myself and my current address was somewhere I had lived over 5 years ago. It showed none of my court history it showed none of my current bankruptcy it showed none of my addresses where I've lived in the last five years, I checked on two of my former spouses both who are deceased and it shows them as still living in the same homes. I do not know where these people get their records also on the ex girlfriend I was trying to find out if she was still married and it shows no marriage certificates no divorce certificates for any state which you can go to your county records office and easily get for free. Customer service is nonexistent it is a loop recording that keeps bringing you back to the same menu. I was not able to speak to a human in the three months I was trying to figure out why I could not get canceled. I finally had to cancel the credit card that was on the account so that it would stop getting charged. If you were trying to confirm someone's background about the only Think you'll get out of this is the phone number a bunch of emails which may or may not be current in a bunch of addresses which may or may not be current. This is a waste of money and they are a rip off.

Bought 1 report@$3.95. INFO was inaccurate. Call since 12/2019 to get back $3.95. The website states if inaccurate information contact them. Told me canceled but was deducted 29.95 mo for a subscription. Rep over and over said would cancel until 6mo X 29.95 stolen. Been hung up on, yelled at, etc. Today transferrf to a mgr./ She was rude, condescending, accused me of lying etc. while stating no record. Offered 2 month courtesy credit for the 6 months at 29.95 and a 3.95 single inaccurate report. She refused to let me speak or leave message for her mangr shes the highest and I couldnt go the CEO as he didn't know how to use the system to even speak with me. SHe said worked there 17 yrs. While hearing her laugh then hung up on me not before stating the CEO owned multiple tech companies & was out setting up businesses & didn't have time to talk to me gave her"carte blanche" power. This is internet scam! Falsely show 5star reviews but have the lowest Shell company. Rip off!

I tested this service on myself for authenticity. It stated I had no record of criminal history. Uhm... not quite... I was just released from prison after being incarcerated for 15 years, and my criminal records date back to 1995. Info that I requested on family members was totally outdated... any facts were from 2012. I agree with the other reviews, as well with the "free trials, deals and such... scamming for your bucks. Don't fall for the "good deals". You'll pay.
