We replaced every window and a huge sliding door in our house with Pella products a few years back. One of the things that influenced our decision was their 20 year warranty on parts. However, after two years, half of the window springs are broken so they won't stay open and while I appreciate them coming to fix them, I don't appreciate getting a $300 labor bill. This is written in the fine print apparently. So yes, they will fix their faulty product but YOU foot the labor bill which we all know is way more than those tiny spring parts they brought were. In my opinion, this is not standing by your product. It looks more like job security to me. Extremely disappointed Pella.
Tip for consumers:
After two years, you foot the outrageous labor bill so even though their product comes with a “warranty”, they don’t truly stand behind their product because when they are faulty, you will still pay for the repair.
