I received an email saying my credit card was about to expire, so I logged in and tried to enter the new Expiration Date and my New Address, but the system failed saying "Unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." After many failed attempts, I then removed the card and then tried to Add a New Card, using the same credit card information, but then the system said "Invalid Credit Card." I then tried calling and after the system hung up on me the first time, I called back, and after a long wait and entering validation codes twice, I chatted with a rep, who then sent me another validation Code, and then as I was entering the Code, the system Timed out saying, I had 60 seconds to respond. But every time I entered a number the clock came back with a lower number and a new screen, until it timed out and then hung up on me! PayPal, you really have a lot of bugs in your system, to the point of me looking for another online merchant.

I use this payment method for a couples years until last week. I got fraud, open a case and they close it saying i made the transaction. I keep trying to tell them it was a fraud but they keep replies me with $#*!ed non sense automated answers. I was lucky it was only 44 $ but beware if you trust this scammers the only protection you get it they accuse you and keep telling it your family members (i m alone). They are part of the scammer!

I purchased an item from a fraudulent company name vvdior and PayPal constantly lost any information I sent to them. They then told me I didn't send them the information and they denied my case. Nice system you have there!

So I found out my account was restricted send in the necessary paperwork talk to a guy on the phone he say he fixed everything when I try to cash out on SundayI still can't they're telling me I have to wait another 24,72 hours it's been a whole week since I did that would never use that service again

What PayPal does not tell you even if you ask before establishing an account with them:
1) PayPal NEVER removes your payment information from their database NOT EVEN if you
Close the account. Your Credit Card number (or banking information) will remain on their
Database FOREVER. Removing it from an account before closing it merely prevents it from
Being used to make purchases that you authorize through PayPal.
2) PayPal can (and does) use this stored payment data to EVENTUALLY block' your Credit
Card from being linked to a new PayPal account. Theoretically this is helpful if your PayPal
Account is in open' status and someone tries to link it to their PayPal account also
Because this probably means it has been stolen - and PayPal is protecting us.
But, I think, it is not since the block' does NOT happen quickly enough to protect anyone.
I. e. PayPal did not block' my Credit Card until I had opened 10 accounts (closed the 1st
Nine) - over 4 years time - (only the 10th would have been active). If this meant my card
Had been stolen, I could have been wiped out long BEFORE PayPal blocked' it.
3) And this PayPal block will also SEVERLY limit your online purchasing ability. The
Blocked' Credit Card can not be used to make any and ALL online purchases from any
Online merchant who merely accepts PayPal even if you are entering that Credit Card
Number directly and not through PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE THIS:
Once PayPal blocks' a credit card number they block' it FOREVER.
And not even PayPal's Customer Service folks can reverse the block'.

Paypal cooperates with scammer companies. A shop has charged my account multiple times and Paypal customer service ruled that "No tracking provided" is evidence enough that they are right. I will delete my account as soon as possible. Never use this service, it could ruin you.

PayPal is not for the customer. They are for the merchants. I recently filed a claim with PayPal because per my knowledge if I used that account to make payments and had an issue with the seller they will help in mediating the situation. Well once the claim was filed the seller offered $15 back on a $80 purchase. Once I declined PayPal then said in order to get the full refund I had to send the item back. Which was no problem however as a single mother I didn't have the cost to send the item back. At that point PayPal said they couldn't help no further and closed my claim. I was furious because it was outside of the time frame to get my money back through my bank and now I'm out of $80 and the product which was a winter coat for my daughter was no use to me. I since have closed my PayPal account and will never use it again!

My husband and I work hard to keep our finances at a good level, and as a result our credit score was at mid 700s. Until 1 day it dropped by 65 points! It turned out some weird debt of $6000 with paypal was assigned to us. We were thinking of identity theft or worse. It turned out, paypal assigned some unknown person's debt to us! The guy owes them them 6k, and their brainless employee put it on our SS#! My husband had two conversations with them on 1/28 and they promised to fix it. It's March and this nonsense is still on our credit report. At no point did he get an email follow up on a case, I bet they just closed it :( Terrible company, please don't do business with them!

This company is a ripe off CS is horrible agents tell different stories when calling in about a dispute. The "supervisor " was no help either! I ordered something from a company that I later found out was in China PayPal did NOTHING to help with my dispute! Pieces of the picture was missing and wasn't the size I ordered PAYPAL did nothing but requested I send it back with my money... WOW PAYPAL is full of_

Been using PayPal for 20 years. I always think that they protect me and I can I don't have to worry about my purchases. Until I bought something 3 months ago and seller didn't send it to me and PayPal Just ignore me and Did not do anything for me. Will never use paypal anymore

TRASH SERVICE

I opened up a dispute against a seller from eBay because they sent me the wrong mattress. I opened up a dispute because the seller said that they would sent out a truck to pick up the item. They never did, PayPal gave me until March 3rd to escalate the claim or they would close the claim. I escalated the claim the seller wants me to send them the item to vietnam. How am I going to do that when they were supposed to send the truck.

Facts:
1.The seller Protek trading sent me a completely different product than I had ordered, which he also admited.
2. They sent me product with unknown content, purpose and method of use from unknown producer with instructions in Russian.
3. They sent me product from Ukraine.
4. I wanted my money back, because the product I received is completely useless (maybe even dangerous) for me.
After reviewing my case PayPal determined that I am eligible for a refund of 24,00 USD (klap, klap, klap). To receive my refund, I need to return the item(s) (which I did not order) to the seller at the address they provide.And (surprise, surprise) this address is in... USA ( Gaylord St LONG BEACH)! Who is crazy here? I must return the product which has been sent from Ukraine to USA? Does that mean that Protek trading sent me the product with unknown content, ingredients and manufacturer with label only in Russian (which all is against American legislation) from USA?
And of course, I must provide online tracking information... which will cost me more than 24 USD.
I will lose and forget 24 USD. By making such decisions PayPal support and participate in unfair business practices and Protek trading, with the help and assistance of PayPal, will never have to return money to their customers for intentionally shipped wrong products,.

Ask questions first

PayPal is also eBay. Before you ship any items. It is best to find out what they do with your funds. Sometimes when you transfer your funds to your account they use the crutch it for security purposes. We all know the trend now a days. The dreaded statement that gives everyone frustration. " For security purposes " i now just hang up when I hear that statement. I learned that after so long that this statement means absolutely nothing. Just getting all your personal information and pissing people off. PayPal is a culprit in this too. Has pretty much no resolve to thier plan they inflict upon the customer. All in all my advice keep off the internet when buying or selling. Over raja bg checking accounts is famous now a days. And that is what they do. Cablanche to your every penny. For security purposes. I think not.

Horrible company!

They hold your $$$ forever relinquishing it in droplets, and you have no recourse, even after submitting my CDL, UCLB LIC.#, and an explanation that I installed a water heater. I'm still waiting on $1000, they are holding! Self righteous pricks! Do not use this company, unless you're independently WEALTHY!

My friend accounts were hacked bank accounts including PayPal she called PayPal and they denied her and is demanding she gets them the money she had proof this was done and after all her other accounts were hacked she had police reports and they wont do anything two help her she is on the army and an officer I do not understand how PayPal can get away with not taking care of there costumers and not doing the right thing I've read alot of reviews and alot of people have had issues with PayPal it is not safe two use PayPal and they will not do anything if your account is hacked

I have a problem with a seller, but addressing that problem with PayPal is extremely difficult because of all the confusing hoops I have to jump through. It's not possible to simply speak or communicate with a representative. My attempts to use PayPal to resolve my undelivered wheelchair have been futile!

I ordered a wheelchair from mallflassale.com and got a "processing now" response. I tried, unsuccessfully, to contact them, but all of the "contact" info on their web site was phony and failed. My wheelchair NEVER arrived, luckily I had used PayPal for this purchase. BUT PayPal asked them about my order, and they said "it was delivered," so PayPal denied my refund request and closed my case! The wheelchair has never arrived, and PayPal gives no response to my continuing effort to get either the wheelchair or a refund. PayPal is neither useful nor helpful to me!

Damn you useless paypal

Let me tell you... a buyer on ebay buys my item... ebay transacts with paypal... payment accepted... item delivered to buyer done... buyer rushes files unauthorised transaction... im a small seller trying to find money to fund my stray pets feed... paypal holds my money for over 2 weeks i state my case. Paypal acts out an investigation i check everyday hoping the right conclusion is made... i get no outcome to my surprise entering paypal go to resolution they sided with buyer... that "buyer" got my hard earned items and my money too... You tell me how the hell am i responsible in another country for paying this buyer who lied... if it was unauthorised where is the investigation that should be a case on its own fraud... yet its fraud that Paypal takes my money to pay someone else for their insurance where the heck is mine... i starve my rescued pets starve... you know its criminal hey its pathetic... i pay fees to ebay... to paypal... bank fees... all that to be robbed like this
