We ordered a part from partstree.com - shipping was covered - everything was paid for. The next day we got an email stating that we would need to pay an ADDITIONAL $400, from what I ALREADY PAID, for shipping the part. While I can understand some parts are more expensive to ship, why was this cost not provided during the checkout process? Nothing was mentioned about this. Shipping was selected and paid for and included in my total, that I PAID FOR, at check out. Any other company that I purchased items that require freight shipping SHOW it clearly on their website and what I pay at checkout reflects that shipping cost. I NEVER had a company change the shipping cost AFTER I paid. This company is a scam doing the old bait and switch. And after some research, this seems to be a common tactic that this company does and has been doing for years. This has to be illegal, right?
We just placed an order with Partstree. Went through the whole process. They put a hold on my credit card. Here I am waiting for the shipping confirmation. Instead I receive an email from Melissa saying because of the size of my item, they want another $50 for shipping. Now when I placed it, there was $10.95 shipping. Don't order from them with their deceptive practices.
Website said fast shipping but then when I went to order it said it would be 3-6 weeks, which is ridiculous these days, and it was going to cost $44.00 to ship a tiny part that would fit into a standard envelope. Will not be doing any business with parts tree.
I've ordered multiple times from Partstree.com and EVERY time they have come through. Their detailed schematic drawings are wonderful for confirming we are ordering the correct part, it clearly states if it is in stock and their customer service department is fantastic! I can HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

I had trouble finding a rim for my riding mower. It was for the rear of a common 30" craftsman riding mower. I learned from them where to find my serial and model number which was under the seat. That helped a lot since these mowers say R 1000, 247.*******, 13B226J0299, because MTD, Craftsman, and Troy Built is all the same. They called by phone and emailed pictures to make sure I got the right wheel. They took a lot of time to make sure I got exactly the right wheel. Customer Service is awesome! I will continue ordering from PartsTree.
Sent different part number than I ordered. Asked for customer service to send correct part. Was told the part would interchange, but it clearly would not. Should have ordered off Ebay in the first place.

Found this company after a bit of searching. Had never heard of them. I scanned through their item list for the part I needed, filled out everything they asked for and the part for my snow blower arrived, I installed it and it snowed the next day... PERFECT!
I ordered a selection of parts because i had lost the axle keys on my riding lawnmower. Many of the parts were redundant to what i already had but figured better safe than sorry as wildfires are inundating our area and I have grass that NEEDS mowed so why chance it. Everything said it was expected to ship within one day form their "factory". It has now been 8 days and they still have not shipped anything blaming it on their suppliers. The wildfires are thankfully not as big of a threat as they were but I am so annoyed that a company is selling something and taking money for a product that they cannot provide!
After straining my eyes trying to get a part number, I decided to contact the tech support for assistance. After explaining what I was needing, the "expert" told me the correct part number.
When the part arrived it was the incorrect part.
I contacted customer service to request a return authorization. It was then that I was informed on their return policy and it did not matter that their "expert" have given my the item number.
The $50.00s loss is worth it if i never have to deal with such a shady company
Ordered parts for lawn mower. Main part not available. So they shipped a 6.00 dollar part for $18.55.
Would not have ordered is i would have known they did not have both parts. Would not cancel order.
So i end up paying $18.55 for a dam bolt. Would not give them one star if possible
They let you order hard to find parts they say are available but in fact they do not have them. They sent two conformations of the order on the day I ordered the part but I have no e mails of the cancellation. Days later I found it was cancelled by them when I logged in to see the status of the order.
Called them trying to see if they had a part so we could pick up since our company was right around corner. We are having a emergency due to machine shooting a push rod. They looked it up and we asked if we could pick it up. They instated due to covid 19 we dont allow any companys to pick up. I find this hard to believe since a company we were going threw picked up parts there yesterday and the told use we could. Very rude customer service
I ordered a tiny hinge for my gererator door that I lost and they charged me $5.00 for the hinge and $11.00 to ship it! So, I was thinking they must be shipping it next day air or 2nd day air because the hinge was tiny and weighed about 3 ounces...but No! It's been over a week and still no hinge! I called them and they said they have a flat rate for shipping and I'll recieve it in a few day's!
It's been over a week! I'll never buy from this place again! They are just ripping people off!
A total wast of money ordering from partstree, ordered a part they shipped the wrong part and still had to pay $195.00 in shipping chargers, a total scam this company makes a killing off of shipping at the customer expense. Don't order from them better luck finding it on eBay...
They had a good deal on a Kawasaki hedge clipper which saved me $100 over home depot. Shipping was within a week and I am a happy customer. Parts tree has definitely earned me as a customer. I saw they also have cheap parts for when the motor dies.
It's been over two months and no parts, no explanation as to why they are not here. Not answering the phone, not trying to help. Haven't returned my calls or money.
Placed order Jan 19th, sent wrong parts, Requested RMA Jan 30th Again March 18 and Mar 24, Reply was they would get back to me and I am still waiting. My order may be small but it certainly tells me never to order anything else from these people large or small and my advise to anyone considering a purchase is buy some were else
I have order a few times from Partstree and every time it was a great experience. They seem to have every part ever made. Pricing is great as well as shipping charges. I highly recommend Partstree.
