Parcel sent Nov now Feb parcel hero just taken £42 out my account without consent this is the second time never again, stating wrong size and weight! After 3 months.
This was my first time (and certainly the last!) using this company for sending a small parcel from UK to EU country.
Not only it was 5 days late (as per stated delivery time), but they also use third party customs companies to try to lure money out of you. The recipient was contacted by the third party customs agent (rather than customs itself) and asked to pay additional €20 for customs declaration(which I already provided detailed and clearly)! When contacted about parcel being severely late, their response was "apologies, we will try to do better…"
One week after the parcel was finally delivered I received an invoice (and automatic charge of my debit card!) for additional payment for "incorrect weight and measurements of the parcel provided"! My jaw dropped. I contacted them AGAIN to find out that they charged me for it but don't have any valuable info about it.
My recent experience with ParcelHero has left me frustrated and disappointed. Despite providing exact dimensions and weight for my shipment, I was slapped with an unexpected £159 surcharge on top of the initial £64 charge.
To challenge this, ParcelHero demanded photos of the package with a tape measure - an impractical and unreasonable request. When I asked the same thing, for evidence from the courier, showing the measurements they used, ParcelHero claimed they couldn't provide it.:|

I was looking for a quick parcel shipping company when I came across parcel hero and I saw UPS company which the date posted on the descriptions meet my need, the parcel was said to be delivered on 8th according to the price. So I never mind the price I paid almost £100 for 7.8kg weddings dress suit and items... this useless UPS never tell me am going to pay for customs fee in Nigeria if so I won't have use the service never. So when the parcel get to Nigeria I was told to pay #200,000 to release my parcel and the content in the package worth £300 in total. Also when the parcel get to Nigeria they deducted £6 extra for sizing package. I refused to pay the #200,000 because my point is I wasn't told before... also this is not my first time sending things to Nigeria with other companies and I never have this issue with then I only send from UK and they deliver straight to my Nigeria address. So this good for notting UPS Company then refused to deliver my good and now they said I need to pay another charges to request for my parcel to be return back to me if not they will keep my property with them... this people are thief, scammer, useless, fraud. Nobody deserves to be treated this way... am really upset as am typing this because they are not returning my parcel unless I pay for return.
Such a terrible experience. So many initial issues with booking confirmation, labels not generated, delays in response, confirmation of bookings not received and yet their third party courier UPS still turning up onsite, additional fees due to their errors.
THEN to be told I had to pay 530 euros in customs fees - ParcelHero refused to explain why, UPS refused to help, I had to contact customs directly to get any response! All over Christmas! I was then told the package had been entered by ParcelHero as a "commercial' shipment and I should have had no VAT/Tax fee.
I still got charged a 60 euro amendment fee to fix the issue with customs. ParcelHero refused any responsibility - accused me of filling out the form incorrectly, which is preposterous. I was simply looking for an apology and explanation how this had gone wrong. I got nothing.
Take your money elsewhere if you want peace of mind.
Sent two young relatives a Christmas present via parcel hero (using DPD.) surely the 9th December is sufficient time for a courier parcel no it's 27th December and still no parcel.
But customer service from parcelhero is zero. Just aren't interested.

This company is the worst I ever used. They apply additional charges after the payment! I was charged 3 times for the same parcel. Customer service is awful too. Do not give your bank or card details to them as they can clear your account
Absolutely shocked at the level of negligence and accountability of this organisation. Paid for No printer service, website automatically changes to printer service without notifying customer. Try to cancel and rebook and multiple error messages. Meanwhile the driver comes and takes the parcel without any labels and now lost. Disgrace. Avoid at all costs as they will not own up to problems regardless of whether you have paid for insurance. Court case pending.

I booked a collection which was not made and was then told it would cost £10.56 to rebook (even though they later admitted no one had tried to come and collect the parcel). They agreed to come out and collect a second time - no one arrived. I am now having to book an alternative carrier and have requested a refund of my payment although I have little hope of getting it. I will report them to my credit card company.
Paid £24 for a delivery which was done. Next day stole £72 directly from my account as a surcharge, provided no justification and dismissed my complaints. Absolute scum
Shocking, avoid with a large radius, paid extra for the cover, bubble wrapped well and secure boxed well too and sent abroad. Outcome was parcel severely damaged and item no longer of use. Ebay refunded purchaser, parcel hero claim they are not at fault and wont look into my case, went to citizens advice sent the required letters recorded delivery and still no response i now have the stress of small claims against them. Shocking
They illegally charged me 40 pounds for additional handling but there is no evidence and no proof. I packaged my box with huge amounts of tapes and I secured my boxes. But during the shipping, they destroyed my box due to improper moving. So it should be their responsibility to help me fix the boxes. However they just charge you even without you knowing. Your money just gone without any notice. That's unlawful! That's the worst company I have ever met! AVOID!

Horrendous experience, 3rd party company that has no interst in progressing a claim just creates dozens of hoops you need to jump through also the person getting the parcel is expected to hold onto packaging for 30 days, then all you get is a gesture of a refund credit to your account not even money you can use except with them. CRIMINAL - Dreadful Company
I used this service to send a Christmas gift to Spain on an express service as this would arrive next day. I paid over £60 for the privilege and sent chocolate, toys and facemasks. I filled in the forms which requested details about the items to be sent. At no point was I told that these were restricted in Spain. The day of delivery they sent a message (no phone call) to say they could not deliver the item as it contains restricted items. No information on what and no further options. They have been absolutely shocking and have not provided information even after requested. The options were return or leave it there. I requested a return and they won't do so without charging for the privilege of not delivering! They also help themselves to your bank account after the fact: charged for an adjustment after the fact saying I'd given wrong dimensions/weight of package. A absolute joke of a company.
There are no contact numbers anywhere and the only way to contact them is through a query form on their website.
I am beyond disappointed in this awful service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I booked the courier through Parcelhero and paid the insurance just to be on the safe side.
They then smashed the product which was shipped from the supplier in its original packaging - a clock - all wrapped in its original polystyrene sleeves - bubble wrap - and box - totally unopened with toughened glass -
But alas that is no good in the eyes of their claims dept because when they ship products they get beaten - battered and bruised - and have to withstand MORE awful handling than the ocean it crossed in a container - appalling - AVOiD

Parcelhero are terrible, I wish I had checked the reviews first. Arranged a return item to a company in Germany. (Returns are custom charge free in Germany), but they didnt know this, claimed to have delivered the parcel, then it was stuck in customs (as we hadnt paid?), returned and charged me a further £30+. Overall paid over £70 (including insurance) and I took them 65 days to get my product back. Blame their supply chain for everything USLESS
I couldn't believe it. Fined over £600 for being overweight on the 2 parcels I sent. No notice just took the money straight out of my account. Couldn't call them the phone number just said "mail box full". Finally got an answer to my email to be told. "That's the way it is" AVOID THESE CLOWNS!

Finally managed to collect and deliver parcel after 7 failed attempts, then had the audacity to place a sur charge, 4 x cost of original postage, claiming overweight. I proved claim false with pictures and documented evidence from manufacturer of product, Parcel Hero then proceed to take charge from my card against my written will, then lied to credit card company claiming was part of original transaction.
In short avoid at all costs unless you enjoy dealing with incompetent, lying sociopaths
2 years back I sent a table to a customer for around £30. Firstly it got smashed. Secondly then came the good old "weight and size" issues. They wanted to charge me an extra £300+ saying I got the dimensions wrong etc. Luckily I payed through Paypal and cut them off from taking it. After lots of back and forth including them showing me a UPS invoice which was mostly blurred out, they disappeared. 2 YEARS LATER...they're BACK with emails demanding payment lol. No chance.
Nothing just messed up company. Constantly failing to generate the labels even tho you paid extra money for "the next day delivery". They not only failed to generate the label on time, they also haven't posted my parcel at all due to their incompetent staff not knowing how to collect the parcel. They ruined my wedding and refused to provide the refund as the blame was on me that I should wait for the labels.
Really bad company and customer support.
Spent £100+ for next day delivery for a film project. Parcel turned up 5 days later at the location (the film crew had already moved on of course), with no communication from anyone to let me know of the delays - they couldn't tell me anything actually. Had to go back to the location to pick up the parcel and the contents were destroyed. I've been told that I don't qualify for a refund as 'documentation was missing', despite paying extra for a no-printer/no-documentation service. So yeah, awful.
If you need your parcel in a hurry then stay away from this company, truly terrible service and next day delivery is not existent. Customer service not any better and not willing to try and help chase or speed up delayed deliveries. Very disappointed and will never use again, very unreliable, will send you emails to say it's delivered when it is not. My advise stay way from parcel hero

Worst company I've dealt with in a long time.
Both parcels so badly damaged it looked like they had been dropped from a height or run over by something.
Tried to claim compensation and this was denied surprise surprise.
For going on two months now, this company has failed to arrange a pickup and delivery for us. In spite of multiple contacts with the "customer service", and multiple promises to mitigate the situation, the shipment is still sitting at departure point. This is clearly a scam. Don't ever use them!
