Stopped at the Roseville location today only to spend way, way too much money for a very dried out Signature Chicken sandwich and a tasteless, watery Broccoli Cheese Soup with a couple of pieces of nasty mushy broccoli in the bottom. I am sorry I did not take a picture. It was a carry out, And I ate it because it cost me $19.16. I should have gone to a real restaurant and got a real meal!
We ordered two pick 2's today only to discover Panera had no napkins. A sign stated due to a supply chain shortage there at no napkins. This is BS. The manager can walk in any Sam's, Costco, Walmart or any grocery store and buy them. I do not accept this as an acceptable response.
Additionally, the 99 cents deal for a pastry with a sandwich and a drink is now priced at 50 percent off the pastry.
The restaurant offered a paper towel as a napkin replacement which I attached.
I will not be visiting Panera any longer.
The site keeps popping up prompts that block your view of the screen and require to to accept/reject offers. With each site page, the nightmare continues. Why are so many companies doing this on their sites?
OOPS! Sitejabber is doin the same thing
My friends and I were at the Panera in the Lawrence park shopping center in Broomall. My friend had mistakenly not payed for a drink. I had payed for my drink normally. A worker came up to our table, took our drinks, and disrespectfully said we have to pay for our drinks. I politely told the worker that I payed for my drink. He ignorantly said he didn't have time for this. My friends and I came back a few hours later. The workers told us we had to leave because we had sat third for 5 minutes without ordering anything. There was nobody at the resteraunt at the time, so we were not taking up an important space for customers. On the way out I told the manager what had happened earlier, and she rudely ignored me. Will not be back.
False advertising! The "grilled cheese"is not.just dry toast with a slice of cheese in between & never touched the grill! 'French onion soup" is not French Onion just canned onion soup with 6 tiny tiny tiny pieces of shredded cheese and no crusty bread under it at all! Panera needs to learn how to truthfully descibe their products! I'll stick with Fast Food where I know what I'm paying for.
I ordered a turkey sandwich today for $10. Didnt get $#*! with it. Hardly any turkey or avacadp and dry as $#*!. The bread was tiny. You are ripping ppl.off in these hard times. Go $#*! yourself
I used to like Panera. 10 years ago. They've gone completely down hill in every area. Coffee is now terrible. You pay $20 for a finger sandwich and 6 oz bowl of what tastes like canned soup. Pastries have shrunk considerably. Service in most Paneras is really slow. I will no longer support them unless they undergo a complete overhaul.
Visited a few times but this time I thought I drop a line. I ordered their Buffalo chicken sandwich melt.
I felt it tasted horrible and for sure will not order that item. I couldn't finish it. I dumped it.
I've said before that I would not go back into a panera. But I get dragged back in. This time I ordered a cup of turkey chili $7.59 for a cup of chili and a cup of hot tea. The chili was barely lukewarm and tasted like it's been scraped off the bottom of a pan that been cooking all day and the tea was not the least bit warm. I took the cup of tea back and asked the girl to get me some hot water from behind the counter she did but even that wasn't hot. Then when I tried my chili it was not hot at all. I took it back and asked them to heat it up they told me to heat it up in the microwave under the coffee counter. So apparently, when you're at Panera you have to wait on yourself clean up after yourself and cook it yourself but yet they still think that they should get a tip. And no one apologizes no one really cares. They're all standing around behind the counter with nothing to do when they could be cleaning the slop off the walls to make an attempt to clean the floor or wipe the the tables. I just kept telling myself to shoot, I could have gone to Chick-fil-A had a hot sandwich and if there was something wrong with it they would have apologized and made it right. That never happens at panera. Order number 488-061 at the 3895 Medina road, Akron Ohio store
The Asian Wonton salad used to be my favorite salad. I loved it so much. I just ordered it and wow the quality has gotten bad! Rusty old lettuce, the chicken was inedible, I honestly wouldn't even give it to my dog. Skimpy on the dressing too.
The lemon cookie was dry and did not taste fresh either.
All in all a terrible experience. I will not be going back to Panera in the future.
When i went theri i got 3 sandwitche;s and they did not SATISIVE ME and were NOT TASTY me sons mouth got filled iwth no tasty meat and we ARE NEVER GOING BACK>
Ordered the "pick two"... steak and white cheddar sandwich, and broccoli cheese soup. Sandwich was NOTHING like the picture... close inspection revealed one thin slice of some kind of meat and an even smaller slice of cheese. The soup was lukewarm and watery, and was a TINY serving. The price for this disaster was a crime. Go to Arby's and get a beef and cheddar - 3 or 4 times the meat, at least double the cheese, and $4 less. Stop at the grocery store and get a can of broccoli cheese soup, and warm it up at home. Maybe the place I stopped (Manitowoc, Wisconsin) is not typical... but if it is, how does Panera Bread not go belly up?
Got Marsala soup. No chicken or other vegetables are visible. Looks like mush. Also rice added into soup. Never going back. Paid 9.00 for bread bowl and we had to go back because we ordered four bread bowls, and they only gave us two breads which is ridiculous way too much money for this quality of food way too many places around here to buy stuff, including Indian restaurants, which I'm sure I taste better than this
I had a meeting with a club after school. The students really like bagels. I wanted to make sure that they didn't run out, so I placed the order at 7:45. At 1:30 Panera canceled saying they were out. I called the bakery and talked to a very rude manager. She never admitted a mistake on her or her people's part. All she would say is that the system isn't perfect. Offered no apology. I received an email saying that I would receive a full refund in seven to 10 days. How nice. Stay away from the Creve Coeur store.
Last night we stopped at Panera in Springfield,Mo.
Two pepperoni melts, one Mac and cheese ad three soft drinks. $46! And it wasn't very good!
We used to like Panera but hadn't been there in a while.
Very disappointed. We won't be back. We weren't even given a reciept for our expensive meal.
Well, the bagels were... hard. (I stored these bagels airtight in the same bag they handed to me, but not too long later, I tried ripping it apart with my hands to no avail, as it was seemingly like cardboard. However, I personally think that cardboard would've ripped easier than this bagel. Guess I'm going to have to go hungry for now; thanks a lot, Panera! I absolutely loved starting my day with cardboard and bland cheese~! :)
I recently did a takeout at Panera. The girl that took my order was inexperienced and confused the whole time she was taking the order. She also forgot to put a cookie in the bag I ordered. When I got home I was looking at my debit account and saw almost $30 was charged which I knew was wrong. I went back to get a refund and was told that without the receipt they could not give me a refund. I showed them the amount that was charged to my account, and they still refused to do anything. I know there are a lot of people out there that don't look at their receipts since they figure they're dealing with honest people. Who knows how often they do this. I would recommend staying away.
Frederick is the manager at Panera at UTC, on Cattlemen Road, in Sarasota.
Frederick is the quintessential hands on Manger who in my opinion is on eof the best leaders I have seen for a long time.
Panera is lucky to have him. Also, of course the food and drinks, the service is top notch.
Well done Frederick.

I wanted to treat my family tonight to Panera Bread because I'm not able to cook for them because of a medical procedure and just got home from the hospital. I had a friend of mine pick up food, and when he dropped it off, I noticed that 5 items were not there, but they sure charged me for it. I called twice and spoke to 2 employees, and they both put me on hold to get the manager, and after 20+ min between both calls, they hung up before I was able to speak to the manager. I paid close to $60 for me and my children, but I wasn't able to make sandwiches for them tonight and for their lunches in the morning for school. They were so disappointed. Panera just threw in 3 small bags of chips instead of the foccacia breads and french bagguets that I ordered. So 2 of my children had to eat something else. I drove up to the location to see what was going on, and the manager on duty was a short African American female around 25-30 years old. She was very rude to me the entire time and offered me 2 options of bread replacement that I told her my children would not eat, but she didn't care and insisted that's the only 2 options. I asked for her for a refund for the items that I paid for but did not receive, and she took my receipt and rudely walked away with an attitude as she mumbled something. I kept my composure the entire time and didn't raise my voice once, but she seemed too busy to deal with me and seemed very preoccupied with something in the back. She didn't apologize once and didn't say thank you for coming in for the mix-up.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! 1 Star

Date/time ordered was 5pm February 2,2022 (Pick up time 715pm).
The picture I added was just another issue. $13 for a half made salad and it seemed so rushed.

Answer: Scam, over priced and not that good. Small portions with big price tags.
Answer: It was the only option, and I needed to eat something.
