I love Pandora and the choice of stations, playlists, etc. I listen to it constantly at work. I especially love the Great American Songbook songs; particulary Seth McFarland and Sinatra. I grew up in the 70's and never really bonded with rock, so for me, this is a rare find. My other comment is that is very easy. I listen on my laptop, no messing with a million apps, picking songs, etc. Love the radtio stations. Thank you Pandora.
I order a ring and bracelet for my girl on Valentine's Day but the wrong size and sent it back they told me exactly you have 7days to send the item back and we'll give you a refund without the shipping I said cool ok it's been 2 in a half weeks no email no refund no nothing just heads up shipping anything from them and sending it back don't expect anything in return
I have always enjoyed pandora and love listening to music on the app & I don't mind most of the advertisements but the Herschel Walker one. Where the ex-wife talks about a gun being held to her head and him threatening to blow her brains out. Is a bit much. Definitely can't play pandora with my kids around anymore.
I'd say pandora overall is ok besides if you like a song on a station they'll repeatedly play that song like every 2-3 skips or next songs, the main thing I want to point out is I think they should most definitely come up with a dark or night mode which is basically where you can play music & make the screen go dark while the music is playing instead of listening to music while relaxing & the screen is all bright like me I like to listen to music to fall asleep easily I can't fall asleep if my tv light is keeping me awake
Why can you see the next song or list coming up next to play? That capability would make Pandora #1! And more people use the over other two top competitors. Apple/Spotify both cost too much. Pandora only 4.99, fair pricing. And neither Apple And I believe nor Spotify allow users to shuffle your genres.
I have used Pandora streaming radio for many years. The biggest criticism of the service is the tendency of the algorithm to go off on tangents and start playing music that is really nothing like the station I have created and the need to constantly give thumbs up or down to try to keep the service on track. Often not playing enough of the artist I create the station around. I hope they can get their programmers to improve their service.
To complicated to use can't get to downloads or favorites without going through a lot of other apps at least this is my experience didn't keep it long to try to figure it out
The biggest nuisance is being that it is used a radio at times it will stop and ask are you still listening. And if your one of those people that clean while listening or doing other stuff it becomes a nuisance to click to confirm your listening.
I truly don't appreciate having to see the same commercial a million times. It's the commercial that starts with "your kids" n then it finishes by saying "never stop being their protector". It's a commercial about health insurance. It's a commercial that I find obnoxiously annoying n it turns me off. You guys are playing this commercial in an OCD way n I'm tired of looking at that commercial
If you don't like 3 songs they play, you can't scan any further. You are forced to listen to what is available. I don't know about you, but I prefer more control over what I want to hear.
Before there were many options, I used Pandora. However, I found the service less than intuitive. It is supposed to learn what you like as you favorite certain songs/artists. Pandora often played obscure selections and songs performed live by the artist (not the greatest quality). After a couple of years, I moved on to other services like MOG, iHeartRadio, Slacker, etc...
Pandora is very good.It just suffers from poor-timing.If it was around a decade ago, it would definitely take the crown for best music streaming service. If only this was 2006(before Spotify)
I wish Pandora would allow a person to pick specific songs for a playlist. Playlist.com did it until they tried to compete with iHeartRadio and Pandora, thus ruining their website.
Its alright, but the bigger subscription cost than other similar services does not seem worth it. Not really impressed by it.
I had tried Pandora when they first came on line, but then they became what appeared to be an advertising agency with lots of commercials. Now I can't tell what they are. They are certainly very, very difficult to sign up with. I've been using computers for over 30 years (yes I'm that old) and just a few days ago I tried to sign up on Pandora again and had the hardest time doing it. Why the complexities?
Pandora is a fantastic radio service but they should add on demand music and social playlists like spotify.
Pandora is okay but i really prefer iTune, they need to improve their site design
I wouldn't pay for Pandora when the free services aren't that bad. IIrecommend Spotify.com more because it allows me to play a whole artist album but sadly it also have ads just like other music sites unless u like to pay them not to x'D.
I Love Pandora Always Playing My Favorites Songs, One Thing I Do Hate Is That I Also Play Lullabies For My Baby To Fall Asleep But Then BAMMM A Stupid Add Comes Out and She Wakes Up Crying Because Obviously She Gets So Scare Of How Loud The Add Are! I Would Love If Lullabies Stations Wouldn't Have Adds At All! And No I Can't Pay 14.99 A Month For An App...
My biggest issue with Pandora (as with most services) is that ad volume far exceeds the volume of songs. Volume inconsistency does not stop there. Some songs are much louder than others. This small concept is leading to me using Pandora less and less. There was a law implemented to Television ads being much louder than the main broadcast.
" Specifically, the CALM Act directs the Commission to establish rules that require TV stations, cable operators, satellite TV providers or other multichannel video program distributors (MVPDs) to apply the Advanced Television Systems Committee's (ATSC) A/85 Recommended Practice ("ATSC A/85 RP") to commercial advertisements they transmit to viewers"
The Commission adopted rules on December 13,2011 that require commercials to have the same average volume as the programs they accompany.
I'm unsure why this doesn't also apply to Pandora's Streaming service.
I only use the free service, some stations are better than others. Not too thrilled when it shuts down for no reason. I wish you could limit it to only the artist. Some they stick you with are not to my liking. But, hey my title says it all.
I love Pandora, but the ads, man... They ruin half of the fun for me. Too many good stuff gets ruined by ads these days... They are getting more and more. After a while there won't be any real things, just ads! Phh
