Easy site to maneuver. But, choices shown are not reflected in all available options. This was a disappointment.
Great, fast delivery. No issues. I wish I would have read the description of the product better though. I thought I was ordering the thicker winter socks.
Easy to order and checkout.I received your socks as a gift last Christmas and I love them. This year I'm gifting them to some of my friends!
1)I Wasn't obvious pricing was in USD
Shipping over $100 not free! (charged 12.00)
Order was over $100 before applying the 20% discount which brought it down to $94.
Charged US$ 12 for shipping( about CAD $15
PLUS $25 on delivery ($15 sales tax + $10 for handling). So shipping cost me $40! Knowing that,
I would never placed the order in the first place! The problem was the use of Canada Post. If Pacas wasn't so cheap and shipped Fedex, for example, there wouldn't have been an issue. I have many years' experience dealing with Fedex and have never had to pay extra tax and handling.
2) Short shipment
Order was missing a pair of hiking socks worth US$ 18.50.
3) Mot obvious how much Alpaca is present in 'Alpaca fibre'. Would like to know % of all materials that make up this very expensive product. The label says 'Made WITH Alpaca', which can mean anything, e.g. 0.1% Alpaca content…
If Pacas is proud of its product, why hide the composition of the material?
The socks do feel nice and soft, though. Part of my order was for a Christmas gift.
With conversion to CAD, and the $ 40 shipping charge, a pair of socks comes to more than CAD $26! This is an unreasonable price!
Wasn't obvious pricing was in USD
Shipping over $100 not free! (charged 12.00)
The online ordering was quick and easy and I was happy to get a 30% off coupon. I'm a bargain shopper!
Quick and easy... not the colors I wanted but I love alpaca socks...!
Excellent! I'm a repeat customer.
The items I ordered are Christmas gifts for my partner, therefore, I have not opened them yet as it's too early to wrap them. I trust that Pacas fulfilled my order appropriately.
Very easy to purchase, very soft and warm. Love my new socks!
Easy shopping and checking out and socks are soft and comfortable.
Fast service, excellent product. Everything that was said about the product quality, warmth, and softness is true.
I had a problem with one sock and the customer service is the best I've seen in years! I'll continue to buy these socks.
Wonderful! I know my brother is going to love them.
Quick and easy to purchase. My husband says they are warm, super soft and comfy!
These are the best socks I've ever worn!
Finally found socks that I can wear all year round that breath! I don't want to wear anything else
Fast shipping...they changed shipping address for me when I realized I would not be at my home address
Really looks forward to pacas...hoping for fast shipping
These socks are comfortable and adorable. Delivery was quick!
The socks are a gift and I am sure they will like them
Answer: While I caution using the word "scam", here's a few fun facts about PACAS: -Per label on the socks I receive, ONLY 42% ALPACA! Pacas advertises socks as 100% alpaca fleece, company email and social Media comments states 50% alpaca, website conveniently does not list fabric contents. -Pacas has claimed on IG/FB their products are manufactured in USA with alpaca fiber from Peru but no additional information is available to verify. Their packaging and website conveniently contain no manufacturing/origin information about their products. -Additionally, they have multiple conflicting statements and ads about their donations to children's hospitals and no pictures, posts, or press releases are available to support any donation claims from the company. -Since March 2022, they have accumulated 3k+ reviews just on sitejabber. Most of those reviews appear to be "verified site experience" in exchange for a coupon code and many are clearly FAKE. It appears the company is attempting to cover up real reviews from customers that never received their orders. They have also deleted hundreds of comments on social media from unhappy customers with incorrect, defective or missing orders. *See FTC site for regulations and guidelines for wool/textile labeling, "made in USA" labeling, shipping fulfillment and reviews/endorsements, as well as an online form for consumers to report fraudulent behavior and concerning business practices.
Answer: Totally unresponsive to my emails. Thankfully used PayPal so was able to open a complaint. Was a total waste of time and created unnecessary stress during an already stressful time.
Answer: My guess is that many of the reviews are not made by real customers.
