THEY DID HOWEVER TAKE NOT ONE BUT TWO $70 WITHDRAWS OFF MY BANK CARD. I AM LEAVING FOR VACATION TOMORROW AND THIS PLACE STOLE MY MONEY. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 5 DAYS TO DO A FORMAL DISPUTE CLAIM THROUGH MY BANK AND IT WILL TAKE MORE TIME BEFORE AND IF I EVER SEE MY MONEY BACK. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. IT IS A FRAUD.

SNAIL-SLOW SERVICE
October 23, 2018

I was treating my son for lunch because he had seen an ad for steak and lobster for $59 per person at Morton's Steak House on Post Oak. We had lunch there 10/23/2018. We had a 1:15 p.m. reservation; we did not have our order taken until ater 2:00 after which took until 3:20 to be served and finished. The waiter we had may as well not been there. When he was in attendance he was slow but most of the time he was not around. I had to ask another waiter to take our order. Then came the entree' - the steak was very good; the lobster was blackened on the underside and I could not eat a lot of it. I did mention this and someone who I believe was the Manager, told me he would deduct the lobster from our bill. That was nice, however, the $223 bill I was handed seemed a little high since the steak/lobster dishes we ordered should have been $118 plus our drinks and dessert. Then I discovered they charged a la carte for the steak and lobster. The decor is very elegant and nice but not enough for me to ever step into Morton's again! I will stick to going to Tony's for sure!

They are not a reliable source. Don't waste your time. My reservations for Father's day lunch weren't honored. Why bother with sending emails with "fake" confirmation numbers?! Never again!

We had the worst experience ever! We were on a family vacation and my family and husband was racially profiled and was told by their restaurant Manager Samantha that she was going to call the police on my husband because he refused to pay for someone that was not on his ticket. She basically accused him of stealing a meal that someone else was supposed to have eaten. He told her that he only had him and his two daughters on his ticket and he asked to speak to a manager and she said that she and Orange County Police was the only 2 people that he could talk to. The hotel Manager Lauren Corley was called to assist in the situation after Samantha threaten and humiliated my husband. It was clear that Lauren was not in agreement with how Lauren handled the situation but did nothing but justify her restaurant manager actions. We visit Disney at least once a year and Chef Mickey "used" to be our best character dining. We will never step foot in an establishment that treat their customers of color differently from some one of a different race.

Chef Mickey, The Contemporary Resort, and Disney should be a shame of their Managers that treated us in this manner and fire them!

OpenTable is NOT user-friendly! Unlike many other companies offering refunds or pending policies about penalties, etc. OT did NOT do that. Instead, while we were trapped at home by COVID lockdowns, and restaurants were closed within even several hours driving distance, OT decided to delete the points in our account! We wrote to them, but they completely ignored our emails & decided to still delete our points! So if you use them for points – BEWARE! Use the Internet search engines to find good places in your area. There you will find MANY MORE REVIEWS – and NOT have to worry about booking through services such as OT.

Open table sold me out
January 28, 2016

Since using open table to book a reservation while on a vacation I have gotten NUMEROUS scam phone calls and emails from out of state/out of country numbers referring to IRS issues and Bank card issues on bank cards I don't own. This is a VERY suspicious coincidence that mere days after using this exclusive service I am inundated with scammers on my personal unpublished cell phone number and an alternate email that I only use for online ordering etc. I will never use open table service again to keep from having my info sold to scam artists. It's great that they are making money on both ends! It is the American way to reap as much profit as you can and screw the customer! What happened to standards? Too lazy to just call a resturant, keep using open table, or boycott this service and those restaurants that use it exclusively. There are good places and good food everywhere and evidently unscrupulous businesses that give no option to contact them personally with your complaints, also very convenient...

Well, what can I say
February 15, 2015

Well, what can I say. We booked what we thought was going to be a lovely, romantic Valentine's Day reservation at a well regarded restaurant to have a romantic dinner on Valentine's Day (with my pregnant and hungry wife). I booked weeks in advance through OpenTable, receiving my email confirmation of the reservation shortly after booking the reservation. We were very excited to see what the Chef had in store for a very special meal and had been anticipating this dining experience for weeks. After driving 45 minutes, we arrived only to find out that our reservations had been cancelled. We were told that only those who prepaid maintained their reservation, and the rest were cancelled. We provided our email and phone number when booking the reservation through OpenTable but never received any request to prepay or any email or call advising us that our reservation had been cancelled. For a site whose sole purpose is to manage reservations, OpenTable failed miserably. I will never, and I mean never, ever try booking a dinner reservation through OpenTable again, and would highly recommend that if you are reading this review and are considering booking through OpenTable, you think twice, because you may end up like me and be thrown out in the cold on what may have been meant to be a very special dinner occasion because you put your trust in OpenTable.

It's getting harder and more hassle to redeem OpenTable points now. For 2000 points, it is worth $10 now instead of $20 in the good old days. Besides that, you need to use a laptop to redeem points. Then you would receive a link from OpenTable in the email. Then you need to book a restaurant using the link from that email. Then you get redirect to a link showing $10 worth reward in MasterCard form. We showed our waitress the $10 reward. She tried and it did not work. She had to get her manager. The manager asked to take my phone away to the register so he could enter the 16 digit number. We then had to sign 2 receipts - one for the $10 credit and the second one for the remaining amount of the bill. I had to apologize profusely to the waitress and the manager for all the hassle they had to go through to deduct $10 off my bill. We tipped the waitress nicely in return. Well OpenTable, thanks but no thanks. Going forward, I will call the restaurant directly to make reservation as I don't believe you deserve to charge $2 per diner for any reservation.

It was a very beautiful night and the staff and the ambiance was exceptional even with the new protocols for restaurants. Our waiter Rafy was fantastic; We have been in many Fogo the Chao around the world but Rafy service was beyond expectation we can certainly affirm BEST SERVICE EVER. Also thanks to Faviola and Agustina they did a great job as well. We were very impressed with the social distancing, and adaptation to meet current breeds. For sure we can't wait to come back. Once again Thanks for made our anniversary special.

Bistro at Aspen Grove
December 7, 2015

Since our family had decided to eat Thanksgiving dinner out, I was busy looking for a nice restaurant that would work for us. I went to the Bistro web site and was very impressed. I especially liked the idea of the white table cloths and napkins. I called the Bistro to see if they took reservations and they told me they did for 5 or more. There were just 4 of us, so Thanksgiving Day my husband and I were the first to arrive and we were very surprised to see just 4 cars there in the parking lot and then 2 of the cars left when we were waiting for the rest of our party. My husband and I decided to go ahead in and were very surprised to see we were the only customers in the restaurant! The waitress seated us and after looking around, we were very disappointed that the picture on the website was very deceiving. When the waitress came to take our drink order, I told her we had decided not to stay and she asked me why. I told her about calling for reservations and what I was told and also thought the picture was deceiving. My husband and I were leaving and by this time the waitress had notified the manager what was going on, and he started following us to the door. He said "What is going on here!" I told him exactly what I told the waitress and he then promptly said J----C-----! Needless to say, we do not that use that kind of language and we will not be referring any of our friends to the Bistro at Aspen Grove!

Here in Portland with my son and decided to try Ned ludd! S for dinner I made the reservation for 5 so my son and I were the first to arrive with no one else in site at that time but we're told
We can't come in for 5 minutes when it's 5 so we stay outside. When they let us in we discovered no one really was interested in US, the customer ( we are still the only ones there) management and waiter were rude. I ordered many items from the menu most were OK some were not. I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY AND LEFT VERY DISAPOINTED. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I THINK THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT WITHOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THE foodEXPERIENCE IS WORTHLESS.

I had my sister visiting us from London for a short weekend this weekend. We live in Lower Manhattan and had a very nice lunch and decided to skip dessert to go to iLl Laboratorio del gelato for dessert as we thought it would be a great downtown experience for her.

When we arrived, the ticketing system did not wort (broken as we could not get any tickets from the machine) so we just waited in line at the same time so excited to walked around to see what the shop had to offer, then when a server (she was very unfriendly etc) was available we asked to try the gelato and she accused us of jumped the queue (there was no one behind us at all and very unfriendly with recommendations etc even the customers next to us felt sorry for us and told us that we did not clearly jumped the queue!.). My sister basically lost her interest in trying this gelato and this server just made the whole experience hard to sell.

I live in downtown and always love to promote downtown foods and restaurants. I am so embarrassed to show this shop to visitors as downtown has a great reputations for friendly service and un conventional flavor. I have to say both have failed. I am a cook and i am picky with what i suggest most of times. I will never suggest this shop to any of my clients and friends again in the future. Please get your staffs trained as it will not sell if your staffs are unfriendly and inefficient. There are many others places we could try and we really do not take the attitude from your staffs. A huge disappointment.

I went on the site a couple of days ago to make sure I'd been credited for our recent reservation only to find that I'd been stripped of the points I'd earned for a reservation from about six weeks ago. I asked them about this, and they said that it "looked like" I'd reserved from another source -- including visiting the restaurant web site and clicking on OpenTable to get to my account (which, for some stupid reason, doesn't count). I find it very curious that they went through all the motions of crediting me, ASKING FOR A REVIEW OF THE RESTAURANT(!), and then taking the points away because of this ridiculous little loophole. It's like making a purchase via PayPal, logging onto my PayPal account to pay, then having PayPal refuse to pay the merchant because I didn't leave the merchant site first and go to PayPal.

Scam scam scam scam scam.

Reservation was confirmed for the 13th which was booked and confirmed on the 2nd then on the 8th OpenTable changes the reservation to the 15th. If we wanted a table on the 15th we would have booked the 15th. OpenTable has no right to change our reservation for a very special occasion. I will NEVER use OpenTable again.

Exceptional Chef
June 17, 2015

For those who want or have a passion for Exceptional food the *CELLAR DOOR* REHOBOTH BEACH is where you will find it. All the food is made from scratch right down to the dressing on your salad. A must try is the GUMBO followed by the vegan tower which in my opinion you will never find anywhere else. A must have is there home made desserts, the gelato is out of this world, on the night I was there I had the hurricane flavor *unbelievable* and again made from scratch. Most restaurants rush you just to turn tables to make a buck, the cellar door however takes you and your food serious, so if you want to relax, unwind and really enjoy what you are eating then you must experience the cellar door. Thank you CHEF MANUEL for food to remember. Toni

Don't use OpenTable
July 28, 2017

We were recently in St. Louis for a conference & trade show. Wanted to take a customer to dinner. OpenTable appeared with the restaurant's info. App seemed to work well on my phone until I hit the reserve button. That's when the trouble began. I received an error message stating that the reservation failed. Well, it was getting time to pick-up the customer so I put my phone away and left. We went to another restaurant since the reservation for the other failed. When we returned back from dining out, I received a "not friendly" email from OpenTable about not showing up for our reservation... a reservation THEIR SOFTWARE said had failed! Told them about their software failing. No apology from them for THEIR software causing this issue. They actually lectured me again. Next email from them again is not friendly... actually condescending. Again, telling us we should do what we can to cancel reservations we won't be able to keep... because no-shows are extremely costly to their valued restaurant partners... but as a courtesy to us, they would remove the "no-show" from our dining record. WHAT?! This all happened because THEIR SOFTWARE TOLD US THE RESERVATION FAILED! Looked at their website. Cannot find a live chat or any other way to remove all of our info from their systems because there's no way we are EVER going to use OpenTable again.
