They take your money and you get absolutely nothing. No email no certificate and no call. When I called them they told me to print out an application and take it to the health department to get the birth certificate. When I asked her what I paid $59 for she said it was for the application that they were going to mail us, but never received. I asked for a refund and email and still no email. This is the second time we have used the service, and it is easy and correct. And the Texas Department of Motors accepts it as a valid birth certificate, which they would not do for the one produced by the hospital.
What's all the hype about... Trust me i was real sceptical after reading all the reviews but went ahead & tried them for myself... I must admit i waited for almost an hour before i got anyone on the phone... guy took my information & told me it would be $72... i placed a order@ or around 5pm on a tuesday & received my Birth certificate that thursday... I'm very satisfied with this service impressed the - out of me... now i can go to the secretary of state & get my temporary permit to drive again... If you can order by phone then do it instead of by mail... its alot faster process...
As a follow-up to my initial post, I contacted Online Vitalus and they refunded my purchase in full! I should have contacted them first before posting and that is my bad. They were courteous, prompt, and responsive. To those of you that did not follow up with Online Vitalus, I hope you learn from my mistake- contact the vendor first before expressing your feelings.
I am totally upset with their misleading marketing listing on Google, and I intend to post to every social media outlet their action. I thought I was purchasing a copy of my birth certificate directly from the state of Connecticut when I went to their website. They should have highlighted in bold capital letters that they were simply gathering my data and forwarding it on to CT. I would never have paid them $49 for this service because I am totally capable of doing this myself. I'm contesting the charge on my credit card.
I am also contacting the State of CT and informing them of their misleading listing.
