OLX was better before, now is losing its qualities.
As long as you will just post free ads it ok, but be aware when you want to purchase the so called GOLD to boost your add.
Whether you do it through Gcash, Cebuana or whatever.
I pad for the add at cebuana, with a receipt, to boost my add, it is now going to two weeks they have not boosted my add.
First they started giving some excuses that my payment was not received, i proved them wrong y proving the receipt, now they jump to another excuse that they have a bug in their system.
A bug for almost two weeks? Are you proving that your system is not secured? Before you take peoples payments you should prove that their payment is secured.
I used to pay to boost my adds, used to be a loyal olx customer, but they turned me into a disappointed customer i wish they will have a better competitor

There are these few people on olx who tell you that they want to buy stuff from you. Ask your number. And then they tell you that they'll phone pe you. And they send some link. As soon as you accept their money instead of crediting our account se money gets deducted. And when we tell them to credit it back he again sends the link and takes away all the money from our bank.

He mentions himself to be a part of indian army.

You have a lot of followers. If possible please let the general public to be aware cause this is happening to almost everyone around. This way we can help other people from getting scammed.

What a shame... OLX used to be an efficient, highly effective, user-friendly, web platform for buying and selling. In a number of ways, it's functionality surpassed that of its biggest SA competitor, Gumtree. Unfortunately, however, OLX seems to have lost the plot.
Basic things such as being able to easily switch between local and country-wide searches (among numerous other things) is now a thing of the past. The new 'upgraded' OLX website is neither effective nor convenient to use, and has simply become a huge disappointment.
If OLX stays with its new 'upgraded' format and functionality, I'm done with it. I wonder if OLX senior management has any idea of the extent to which they are alienating their hard-won customer base by imposing on them this cumbersome and frustrating new website format. I suspect that most OLX users (up to this point), will indeed now be switching over to using Gumtree exclusively.
Whoever at OLX is responsible for their new 'upgraded' website and associated customer/user experience really should lose their job over this. They've really screwed up the OLX experience for all by having quite significantly misread what their customer base values in terms of the OLX "user experience."

You guys took a perfect working app and website and messed it up. Everything worked perfectly. Such a mission to do the search now. Will you ever consider the users opinions regarding this? It's really not user friendly. Revert back to the old one where we can use the search as usual and latest adds.
Everyday i have to go through the same adds. The location search, that's just wrong. I have not seen one good review about the new update. It seems that OLX staff is just encouraging people to use it. I'm a regular user of OLX and this is just bull, really.
So it looks great but that's it. Location search is a no no. I don't want to spend hours scrolling through last weeks adds. The old one showed all the new adds first, and the search option for all provinces was the best.
I don't see the new update anywhere near success. You have failed with the update completely. And last but not least the favorites, why why why? I don't like to struggle with a app or website. Where should i get the degree to operate this App and Website?

It is a very good website, where you can buy almost all kind of used products. Only used products are available here. If you are thinking of budget friendly shopping it is the place for you.

Olx is a place to sell or buy old products.my idea is to olx is make a online store like snapdeal to sell new and best things. They must check the products before they sell

Olx is very good platform to second hunt things.I took it a second hand water fountain which is very good thats why I am given 5 star rating.

Olx is full of brokers, very few posts from owners.
Hope olx will improve in the coming decade.

Gumtree was for me not so user friendly so I used OLX it was great Then the update What a lot of crap I want to see new ads not ads closest to me search in gauteng only or free state I dont want to make friends on OLX I want to buy something I look at ads and have to browse the same ads I saw the last browse and stuff is there that I phoned for but its already sold so just wasting my time data and money Great there is an item a couple of blocks from my location but its not what I am looking for or its sold but seller has not removed it let me tag it so it does not po up in my search every time or give me the option back to see new ads OLX update sucks time and money wasting
