“Avoid unless collecting furniture yourself”

I received a damaged chest of drawers, 10 days later than originally planned. The delivery company Arrow were awful as didn't deliver to room as paid for despite me contacting them in advance. Customer 'service' terrible. Spent over an hour on the phone. Asked to send proof of damage. Done. Asked to rewrap item and send photo proof. Done. Radio silence for 11 days despite me following up with emails to see what's happening. Shame as piece of furniture would have been just right if not damaged!

Bought one chest of drawers June 6th. To this day not delivered. Still lying about delivery dates. Spoke to the manager of the customer service team who admitted that the second, replacement chest of drawers has also been "lost" by the delivery company. So all this time customer service has been lying to me about the item being delivered imminently. I suspect this company is going bust, takes your money but may never deliver items. Buyer beware.

DO NOT BUY FROM OAKWORLD. Worst experience of my life! Wardrobe damaged in several parts, parts missing, not fit for purpose and not as described and wont refund. Shocking customer services. Never in my 50 years have I endured such a place - stay away.

Tip for consumers:
OAKWORLD ARE A BUNCH OF COWBOYS, FLEECING ORDINARY WORKING PEOPLE.. SELLING GOODS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE... PROMISING REFUNDS WHICH IS NOT TRUE!

i CAN T GIVE THEM 1 START FOR ANY OFTHE ABOVE. iM STUCK WITH A WARDROBE, WITH PARTS MISSING, DAMAGED AND NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE...THEY DONT CARE AND DONT DESERVE TO FUNTION... BOYCOTT!!!

Wardrobes. Shocking from Oakworld, there was multiple damages and they accused me of doing them. There is parts missing and it is not fit for purpose. I is also not as advertised.. its advertised as white and is definitely not white. It states on website they refund free....THEY DONT.. NOT ONLY THAT THEY DONT CARE AND THEIR CORRESPONDENSE IS OBTUCE AND BULLYING. They dont deserve to function... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.... your giving them money for nothing... they should be shut down!

Ordered sofa almost 12 weeks ago which originally stated 7-9 weeks for delivery. No contact from company until I emailed & called them. Very unhelpful/uninterested agent. Still no idea when my order will get delivered. Shop elsewhere

Purchased a wardrobe on Oakworld in October 2021. Delivery issues, faulty products, awful customer service, refusal for refund.

Firstly, the product (a completely flat packed wardrobe) was delivered without any notification on a completely random day when no one was in.

During the initial assembly of the product, it was found one part was cracked as they have used extremely poor quality materials. I was offered a partial refund or replacement of the part, which I accepted at the time.

After further assembly of the product, further design issues and broken parts were found. Some screw holes were in the wrong position, so parts were slanted when assembled. Nails joining the legs and door of the wardrobe to the body won't stay in structurally.

I requested a full refund and collection of the item, due to poor design and poor quality materials. Photo evidence of the design issues and material faults were sent to customer service.

Customer service stated that as I had previously accepted a partial refund (£50 in comparison to the full product price of £349) they couldn't do anything and refused to refund me.

After a LOT of arguing with them to explain these were issues with the materials and design which didn't show up until further assembly of the product, they finally agreed to refund me after collection of the item.

After disassembling the entire faulty product (causing damage to my property), collection was arranged. On collection day, I had rearranged work to accommodate this due to how much stress this order has already caused for months. However, on the day, 20 minutes before scheduled collection, this was cancelled out of nowhere. After more arguing, finally, after FIVE months, this faulty product has been collected and taken away after taking up so much space in my home for so long.

I cannot explain to you how many hours and days of my life I have wasted on this order. Scratched walls and floor boards and minor injuries due to the faulty products. Distress and a lot of disruption for five months… Please please reconsider before ordering from here!

Received item of furniture badly damaged and probably been so since leaving the factory in Vietnam, because they admitted they were not checked in uk. From reporting to oakworld to actually getting a response and finally a refund took 4 weeks. Funny how covid 19 only affects after sales departments but not the sales force.
