The call center you can't get through to the doctors office I was sick nurse took two days to call me back finally went for covid test placed in a exam room for over an hour had to go out to let them know I was still there they said oh never saw the doctor left still feeling bad the my doctor was just sitting there like the rest of the staff just chatting away I was so outraged I went home. If I said anything at that moment it was not going to be in anyway good this place is so impersonal don't feel good about going back will be looking for a new Doctor I'm 72 and at the Stone Mountain office in Georgia
The only good thing so far about Oak Street Health is their transportation. I can't call my local office even tho I'm calling a local number, they are answered by anyone anywhere across the US who have access to your personal private health info. I'm in Louisiana, my call was handled recently by someone in Illinois. When a call is returned by the local office they're number is blocked out.Not kosher. Oak Street told me I was seeing a doctor, I did indeed see a doctor, he was a Nurse practitioner with a doctorate in food and nutrition but not a medical doctor. Is that misleading or what? The staff are nice but nice doesn't cut it with trust and quality of care.
Totally love the idea of senior only care environment. Hate passionately that all calls go through a call center then your call is relayed to clinic and then the waiting game begins. Recently took me six weeks to get order for X-ray for pain I'm having in one of my legs after several calls to them and waiting for a call back as to the status after office visit in may.
When I saw the commercial for oak Street reviews the first thing that popped into my head was you bunch of lying m************. Then I did some research and read reviews from many many different places and they're all negative just like I knew they would be because you guys are a bunch of lying m************. It's companies like you that are exactly what is wrong with the health care in the United States you all are a bunch of lying greedy thieves. It's going to catch up with you one day watch and see.
There is no next day appointment, You cannot reach the clinic by phone, you only get their stupid answering service, they don't know anything, they're really smart asses. They are not connecting you to the clinic, they say they will talk to them for you. I don't need some Idiot talk for me. I assume oak street health thinks, everybody over sixty five are old and stupid.
Aramingo health center doctors are prejudice to Black people. I have a different doctor every time I go there they talk to me like a two-year-old I've had two heart attacks and three strokes and the gave me four different medication's that did not work and made everything worse. They swelled my heart and said they didn't know what to do about it, they gave me several different blood pressure medication's one which swelled my body up so bad that I can barely walk they just experiment on sick people and take a vantage of their medical. I have not yet to see another black patient besides me in there and they treat me like I'm a $#*! or a child. They need to get better with their service I can't even get a appointment when I need one. I have to wait at least three months and I have to wait a week to get a callback.
**Review of Oak Street Health**
I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my experience at Oak Street Health. My journey with this company has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing, leaving me to question their professionalism and treatment of employees.
First and foremost, the hiring process was riddled with inefficiencies and lack of support. I had the misfortune of dealing with Susie Fredrick and Kristina Quinones during my onboarding, and their inconsiderate attitudes were aggravating at best. The onboarding process itself was unnecessarily long and poorly organized, which left me feeling lost and unsupported at every turn.
What really infuriated me was the audacity of Oak Street Health to expect me to navigate this long and tedious onboarding process without any pay! It's absolutely unacceptable to have candidates go through such a grueling process while not offering any financial compensation, especially when they push back start dates by as much as a month. This lack of respect for potential employees' time and effort is a glaring indication of how the company operates.
Moreover, if this is how Oak Street Health treats their staff during the hiring process, I can only imagine how they treat their clients. If the management is this disorganized and inconsiderate with their employees, it raises serious concerns about the level of care and professionalism they provide to those who rely on their services.
In conclusion, my experience with Oak Street Health has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend them to anyone seeking employment or client services. They need to seriously rethink their onboarding processes and the way they treat both current and potential staff if they ever hope to foster a positive working environment or reputation.
Sincerely,
Rossanio Russe
