Ordered 2 x chino pants and received only one. Paid for the next day delivery. Called customer service and instead of apologizing and sending me that one pair they should have sent in the first place, a customer service agent came up with a plan for me to buy another two pairs and return that one chino pants I've received. I would get a refund once that would go through. I was like, ok, let's do that. However, then I was told I will be sent a return code to my email which I need to print and provide to a courier. I've thanked customer service agent for their time and explained that I should be sent a product I've paid for, not waste more of my time. I am now looking elsewhere to buy one more chino pants. I've bought from Next a couple of times, never issues but after this experience I won't buy from them again. EDIT I was sent a £10 voucher and 2 x chino trousers I've ordered originally and was allowed to keep that one pair I received only initially. In the end, Next did the right thing which I appreciate and therefore adjusting my score from 2 to 4 stars.
Ordered a waistcoat for my wedding. Image was a double breasted waistcoat with a floral pattern on the back. What was delivered was a single breasted waitcoat with a plain back and pattern on the inside. Spoke to customer services and their only solution was "we will refund you a discount to keep the one you have"... 30 mins later we chcked the website again and they had marked them all out of stock. Sneaky, lying you know whats... funnily enough the only other review is a one star from someone else who bought the same thing 3 days ago same day as us
Went into next in Southend on Friday to do some Christmas shopping. The young lady that served me was Rebecca. She was a star so helpful and pleasant nice to see an assistant actually smiling.Went above and beyond

My preference is for V-neck T shirts however this style has limited availability in NZ. Browsing on-line I came across NEXT which I knew of, having lived in the UK (nearly 30 years ago...) $44 NZD for two T's including delivery to NZ - bargain!
NEXT kept me informed as to delivery timing, updating for the effects on airline flights of the devastating cyclone Gabrielle that hit NZ. Goods duly arrived approx. 12 days after ordered on-line. All good so far.
Tried on one T - perfect fit, great quality cotton.
Tried on the 2nd T - different fit / sizing despite both being labelled "L" regular fit.
Contact NEXT on line to advise of the problem - Saturday NZ time - did not expect a reply until our Monday afternoon (UK am) - Confirmed nature of the problem and sent a picture of the two T's overlaid with a tape measure to show sizing discrepancy (this was not asked for but I supplied as courtesy).
Refund given for incorrectly sized T and advised to keep or give it away.
My son will be the beneficiary.
Absolutely faultless customer service.

None the website was continually down!! However going into stores the choice and quality of clothing is very poor.
So kind and helpful and they had all the sizes i needed for my trip to Mecca. So the styles were so tailored.

I really wanted a shoes which were not available in stores and the girl in the Tarah retail was very helpful. She spent almost 10 min just looking for the shoes whilst she could have been serving other customers... She made my day once she found the shoes. They came after 5 days and fit perfectly! I've been shopping at next since I was a wee teeny bopper, and can hands on say that they are the best retailer out there BY FAR in terms of sizing. I have many friends who can also vouch for this. I'll admit, not all of their stuff is "trendy" but if your a grandad like me then comfort >> style.
Next never fail to impress me when it comes to clothing. I am always shopping here for myself and my family. They have the best value for money and best quality and fit of any clothing brand I know, especially for jeans and trousers. Every guy I know tells me he shops at next for his jeans because they are so damn comfy, especially if your a curvy dude like me.
Overall a 5/5 not a bad word to say. Also next day delivery when you purchase online, you cant get better than that!
The clothes fit brilliantly and are of superb quality, the pricing is excellent and delivery; while only meeting the advertised period (order before midnight for next day delivery), is outstanding.
I was looking for a t-shirt to wear under my uniform at work. The one I bought from NEXT does the trick. It is thicker than I expected, and feels soft and sturdy.
