Never Oder from this company! My cake turned up looking nothing like the minecraft cake I ordered for £65. I called straight away to be told she was a call agent and I had to send an email and pictures to the company. I had no response almost a week later so ill called again and eventually received an email saying it states on there site colour and design may differ. Eventually I was offered half my money back after numerous emails. I am going to put a claim in on my credit card because the cake was shocking and it would have been an embarrassment to get it out for my sons 8th birthday. Do not use or believe the reviews that are on there.

First order of a bespoke cake... What a surprise. I contacted via email and received a phonecall ( that's fantastic customer service to start with)
Spoke with Parm about a bespoke cake and everything I asked for was done with no hesitation...
Cake arrived thoroughly packaged not a crumb in site and looked fantastic. But that wasn't the best part... The taste was second to none!. The cake kept really well within the packaging so that you didn't have to grab the ole friend cling film so from now on my cakes will come from here!

I ordered a Super Mario cake for my son's birthday. When it arrived it looked nothing like Super Mario (photo attached) and nothing like the cake which was advertised. When I queried it I was told they use a plastic toy for the photo and then try to recreate it in sugar paste. I had to go out and buy a plastic figure to replace the one on it. Luckily I had ordered the cake in plenty of time so I had time to do that. Otherwise I would have had an extremely disappointed son. They offered me a 40% discount which I finally received after several phone calls and emails. Even with the discount it was an expensive cake and I wish I'd held out for a bigger discount. It was a very stressful, disappointing experience. I wish I'd read the negative reviews before ordering.

I ordered a cake for my partner's birthday which unfortunately arrived broken. The new cakes team were so lovely and honoured a partial refund for the damage but the cake tasted so great that I have returned to them. The quality(aside from the damage in transport) was

They are so helpful and accommodating to any requests asked for and are currently in the process of making a gorgeous cake for my mum. We look forward to eating it and will continue to stay a loyal customer!

I bought a pharmacy cake for a surprise party for my husband for 20-25 people. I expected a decent sized cake considering I paid just over £93 for it. I had delivered a tiny cake for about 10-12 people. This spoilt my party as I had to serve miniscule pieces for everyone to have some cake. I was only able to get in touch with some the following Monday and got an apology which was too little too late and 10% off my next order as if I'll be stupid enough to make that mistake again.

I ordered my first cake back in November 2020 when we were having our fist family birthday celebration during lockdown. The cake exceeded my expectations and the team did a great job, despite my vague description of what I wanted. I didn't hesitate to order again when the 2nd birthday came around in December. I received an equally delicious cake, a different design and flavour and again very well packaged. It's January and we are getting ready to celebrate lockdown birthday number 3. I have already had a great interaction with newcakes regarding my order and I am looking forward to the usual excellent service I have received in the past. Thank you Newcakes. My son was spending his 40th birthday alone and in lockdown 200 miles away. I saw the "Computer" cake on NewCakes.co.uk and it seemed the perfect choice to give someone "working from home" a tasty surprise. Ordering online was easy and all the extra personal touches I requested were added to the design to make it unique. Despite warnings of possible delivery problems during lockdown, the cake was delivered when requested and put a smile on the young man's face.

At a Cricket Awards ceremony, we ordered a bespoke cake for the 'Most Ducks in a Season'.

Sent a pic of the individual receiving the awards and the number of ducks he managed to get in the season.

It has to be said, when the prize was revealed, the whole room was in Hysterics. It was so well done, the detailing was superb. Completely Stole the Show.

I needed an emoji cake at short notice for my daughter's birthday. I had next day delivery from NewCakes. It came in a sturdy cardboard box full of plastic air bags and the cake was in pristine condition. I also had personal communication from them by phone and email checking details about the cake and my satisfaction with the product. My daughter was so happy with the cake and all her friends and parents were very impressed. We had a lemon flavor sponge and it was delicious. Thank you so much NewCakes! I will be using you again!

Awful experience and disappointing cake. Cake on the left was what I requested. Cake on the right was the one received. Delivered at the incorrect address despite 8 attempts to check what time the cake will be delivered and to confirm the correct address. I had to arrange a courier myself to get the cake to the right address nearly 30 miles away. Brendan has not offered me an apology and he also does not think that I require compensation for sending the cake to the wrong address
