I readily admit that having only watched a small portion of the Harry & Megan 'tell it all' documentary, it may be somewhat presumptive to post a review. However, when the entirety of what I watched had an uninterrupted, dramatic piano accompaniment and Megan attempting an Emmy award performance in gravitas on screen, the whole experience was quite sickening. In truth, their lives are not intrinsically interesting and the whole raison d'etre of the project appears to be the couple wishing the publicly grind their respective axes which does not offer the viewing public a scintilla of entertainment value.
I started with Netflix on the DVD plan and streaming was free. I stopped the dvd plan and went to streaming long after they started charging for streaming. Then you could put your account on hold when you needed to. I finally cancelled it and should have some time ago.
The increase in monthly charges is not warranted. I no longer find things to watch that I am interested in. Netflix does not add new released movies like they used to. Too many TV shows and Netflix exclusives. Twice during my membership I was watching a series and it was removed from Netflix. For what Netflix charges now, I can easily watch more RedBox each month, probably less. Their customer service has always been good when I needed them, but there was no concern as to why a long term member was canceling. I guess they have more than enough members.
Who wouldn't love unlimited access to movies and TV shows for only $7 a month? Seriously. If you're not a Netflix member you're missing out. Just make sure you have a good internet connection;)
Great for catching up on shows like The Walking Dead hehe
Good for the price, but i have to expend a lot of time cancelling the old movies on my profile, i already configure my preferences but really don; t seems to work as i want,
The rest ok for the price, at least better that pay for a useless cable service.
I love netflix. It's outstanding. I recommend it to everyone for a cheaper alternative to cable. I do wish netflix supported playlist and shuffling though to create a true "tv" experience. Other than that I love their original content and enjoy the rotating content that comes through on a monthly basis.
I've done a lot of internet streaming in my time. But I must say that Netfix produces the greatest choicer per money spent. The internet connection is always fast and reliable, so no wasted time on lag or slow bit rates. The quality of the programs is top notch.
Overall I have to give it 5 stars!
If anyone is interested in upgrading their Netflix from one screen to two- wait till the last day of your billing cycle otherwise you get overcharged! I changed 7 days into my cycle and they didn't even prorate my bill, when I spoke with customer service the woman was rude about it and felt that I shouldn't be asking for the money that is owed to me, she kept saying that my billing date changed effective the day of my upgrade which is exactly why I should have a credit!
I like the large number of movies available for free viewing on Netflix but I get frustrated from time to time when those titles are taken down. I appreciate being able to download select titles for viewing offline on all of my viewing devices. I'd like to see that capability expanded.
I think subscription price well worth it. All considering, a great value as i been with Netflix for a few years now always been exceptionally good and good variety and I love the way it works across all devices and allows you to download movies and series now which is great for travelling.
I used to buy dvds of movies and tv shows and store them in a safe place and never touch them again and when i did, they were already damaged. Now i watch stuff over netflix and enjoy the quality and service they provide.
Now that school is (almost) over, I know what I'll do: I'll binge watch holiday movies. Great thing about Netflix is that they have an iPad app, and a phone app. Plus, I can save stuff and watch it later! I absolutely love it.
Netflix continued charging my credit card even after cancellation. They said that somebody reinstated my membership but no emails or notifications were sent that the membership was re-activated. I just found out because they sent me an email that my credit card has expired.
Overall, the service is decent as long as you don't need help. If you do, forget it! There is only one way that I have found to contact them - a "Call Help" button in the Netflix app. No ail. No chat. Only a call. And when you press the Call button, it asks if the call can be recorded. If you choose No, it will not make the call! This leaves me with absolutely NO way to contact them. This is the stupidest decision I've ever known a business to make.
Netflix is the go to place for any kind of movie to watch, especially some great movies. I love how I can rate the movies and tv shows that I had watched so I don't watch it over again and also so it helps Netflix suggest new movies to me that I might also like or better yet, love! :)
When nextflx first came out they was able to shut down blockbuster with the low cost of $5.99, few months later to $7.99 then few more months they jumped to $12.99, people blew up and started cancelling their Netflix service,so Netflix lowered back down to $7.99, after a year it went back up to where it's at now $9.99-$12.99 which is B.S. THEN they limited you how my members can have access to Netflix. This is why I will never go back and it's been at least 8yrs or more. There are two many more platforms out there that are cheaper and play better movies. Nextflx movies will play the same ones for 2,3 months sometimes. NOT WORTH IT. SHOVE IT NETFLIX
Netflix has great content, original programming and great, great pricing. What I also like about it is what it has done for the consumer. Netflix has disrupted the industry by offering a great alternative to the stranglehold companies like Comcast and Verizon have held over customer programming and pricing. Without the genius of Reed Hastings, it's Chief, we'd still be mired in monopolistic programming muck.
So Netflix has some of their shows locked if your plan is with ads. They claim it's due to copyright issues. That's about the biggest bunch of bull ever. I'm not upgrading from ads to no ads just to watch a show. This type of nonsence is why I'm seriously thinking of canceling my membership all together.
Some of the best original content I have seen from services like this! Only problem is for some things on tv they skip around alot. Like they will have season 1-3 and then season 6... what happened to the middle part!?!? Still decent value for the cost.
Few things that I like about Netflix: I love how they upload the new TV series all at once. I am always able to find so many quality shows on Netflix. Although it was a bummer - as I was in EU Netflix content is different and I couldn't watch my show.
Anyway, happy to be signed up and the plans are affordable as well! :)
I think that overall Netflix is good. The only complain I have is that the prices keep going up, because those are depending on the country from where you are watching it. The offer is quite vast. Quality is very good. No issues with streaming whatsoever.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
The company has a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating its extensive library of content and user-friendly interface, which enhances the viewing experience. However, numerous complaints highlight significant dissatisfaction with rising subscription costs, technical issues like slow loading times, and customer service inadequacies. Many users express frustration over billing problems and the perceived decline in content quality, particularly regarding Netflix originals. Overall, while the platform remains popular for its variety, the growing concerns about service reliability and customer support suggest a need for improvement to retain loyal customers.
