Netflix sucks! I dumped my account after price increases and declines in service. Now, I am visiting family and they have a paid account, but it is impossible to use. Netflix insists the guest cottage TV is not part of the account, and won't accept the legitimate login or password. This is the same address and property as the paid account. Netflix's selection is awful and it is overpriced. RUN AWAY! I WILL NEVER AGAIN PAY FOR NETFLIX!
Shows after shows cancelled and taken off, now they expect us to stay in the same address. Thank you Netflix for bringing back old technology. Nothing better than experiencing the drawbacks of cable TV on your phone. Let's $#*! around and find out shall we?
Netflix has very few good movies. Most of A-list movies are at least twenty years old. Moreover movies won't play and the site opens with "Whoops - something went wrong. Your have open multiple tabs or browsers, close it and restart again." Yeah, right. Never again.
Was kinda Overpriced before, but now that you decided to allow accounts through one home tv? What about all the grandparents and students in college who use their families accounts? Greedy companies striking once again. It's so unnecessary
I can not believe I paid for a family plan and my daughter who lives elsewhere now has to pay. Ridiculous! As if Netflix doesn't make enough money considering they are the number one stream for movies. You lost a customer I will get Apple TV!
People I know seem to like Netflix. I find the movies it offers a bit below exceptional most of the time. I've seen so many top notch films that perhaps I'm a bit picky. However... I also was repeatedly charged their standard fee for a year in spite of the fact that I called them repeatedly to cancel and never used the service after two weeks. The payment finally stopped being deducted from my card but I was not given a refund. A small amount of money taken (it's a lot to me though) and if this is an occurrence that is repeated with others it adds up. Your choice but I chose HBO now.
All I can say is, I keep cancelling my account and then coming back in hopes it has gotten better, and it never does. There is so little worth watching on here that one month will pretty much get you caught up, and then there will be nothing worth watching for months on end. Every time I do find a new show I enjoy, they cancel it abruptly in favor of yet another cookie cutter drama or inept "original". Frankly Hulu is producing better original content. Seriously, Hulu. The best service Netflix has is the DVD service, and to have that with your streaming is frankly expensive. I give them props for all of the Asian content recently, which is awesome, but even that is not enough to bring me back. There are just better services out there, and ones that don't erase negative reviews people leave in an effort to raise their own scores. (Don't believe me? Do the research) Not worth it folks.
Netflix has went way down in the last year, they definitely have way to many foreign $#*! films,I haven't even watch a damn one of em bc the mouth moves and 10 seconds later the words come out.lol.anything new that comes out is already 15 years old.lol.Netflix is really desperate, they done put a damn MTV show on.,do better Netflix.any movie that's foreign I automatically dislike without even seeing a damn preview
They were good in 2011 when I started with 4 screens at 12.99. Now it's 21.09 and not only do they control HOW many TVs you can use they now control WHERE those screens are and charge you more to use ot outside of your home. With an autistic child who uses her shows as a claiming method this is disgusting. Charge you tons to watch yet wastes millions of dollars on one program contract. They expect us to pay more to make up for thier bad business choices
Netflix is my go-to source for entertainment. Their vast library of movies, TV shows, and original content caters to all tastes and moods. The streaming quality is excellent, and I appreciate the ability to create multiple user profiles for personalized recommendations. Netflix truly sets the standard for online streaming services.
Five stars for this wonderful service.
I have been a loyalist since the old "ordering queue" days.
Now I mainly just stream films and TV series online.
Honestly... I am addicted... would not know what to do without Netflix.
Mil gracias...
Netflix seems to be he most popular of it's kind and user friendly. Having been a regular subscriber, the only suggestion I have is with regards to the content placement. More movies to cater for the need of adult viewers should be made available.
Of all the movie streaming services, Netflix continues to be our top choice. They have a larger selection than others. The library satisfies needs for our younger children as well as teens. They have begun producing their own shows including House of Cards which is excellent! Netflix has continued to update and improve the user interface (though your experience will vary depending on which device you use). The service is device friendly, working on tablets, game systems, phones, etc. We rarely experience down time from them. Years ago we used the option to rent actual DVDs/Games through the mail but have since discontinued that option. I do believe however, as of 2015 it is still available. They're not the only service we use, but in my opinion, it's a great bang for your $7.99/month!
I use two out at the same time by mail. Always get it right. If broken they send immediate replacement never a question. Fast accurate service. Can see on line what you are in line for and put up a critique for every movie.
Netflix has greatly improved their selection of on demand download content in the recent months. I was going to cancel but they really stepped up their game to compete with apple and is worth the 9 dollars per month.
I've been a member of this site off and on since 2002, and its consistently gotten better as turnaround times on DVD shipments have tightened. A few years ago they *lowered* prices for subscribers. If DVDs get lost in the mail, usually see a pattern and deal with the postmaster themselves to resolve it instead of hassling you. Overall, they've been very fair. Thats pretty cool.
Streaming works very well for me. Netflix seems to have won the video over IP race before it started.
Netflix entire pitch to me 2 years ago was x amount of screens meant y amount of money. Now it's based on location?! What if I own multiple homes? This is a solid factor in my dropping my subscription.
Tried to add my Mom as an extra member and I would be paying. When she tried to set it up it asked her for her credit card info and was going to charge her full price for a new membership. Called customer service and I have been on hold an hour and 20 minutes so far. I am not sure if all the call centre employees went home or if this is their normal lack of customer service.
Finding a phone number or an email on their page is impossible. Had to google to find where someone else had shared it.
Unbelievable. At this point I'm in the mood to just cancel my subscription and join a different streaming option. Any suggestions?
Better since thy instituted parental controls but why do we have to wait eons before they get new episodes of shows? They also need to bring new content on quicker. Netflix originals are pretty good as well. Amazon prime still eats their lunch with all of the perks of being a member.
I absolutely hate Netflix with a passion. You can't turn it on with out ever episode or movie they have being full of dies or queers. Liberal agenda is all they push. I will not be renewing my subscription.
Answer: They do not, but he can listen to stand up shows I guess
Answer: Ohh finally someone thats having the same problem... Netflix always blames my Wi-Fi but, I know thats not the problem. Considering canceling.
Netflix has a rating of 2.9 stars from 1,821 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Netflix most frequently mention customer service, credit card and good movies. Netflix ranks 1st among Streaming Movies sites.
