I can not believe I paid for a family plan and my daughter who lives elsewhere now has to pay. Ridiculous! As if Netflix doesn't make enough money considering they are the number one stream for movies. You lost a customer I will get Apple TV!

Netflix
February 21, 2024

I absolutely hate Netflix with a passion. You can't turn it on with out ever episode or movie they have being full of dies or queers. Liberal agenda is all they push. I will not be renewing my subscription.

The hubby and I got rid of cable well over a year ago in exchange for Netflix. We really only watched 3-4 cable channels but had over 800+ options for the 170.00 price tag... and that was after the whole Flex Pay option What a rip-off! I set up Netflix for only 10.94 a month and added my son who lives in another state with parental control! Netflix even notifies me if he uses another device to watch movies from. People looking for other entertainment options other than cable should check out Netflix and dont forget that you can also choose to watch Netflix Originals as well as other movies and TV shows that are not immediately listed under New Releases, Whats trending etc. Its really easy to get stuck here scrolling when there are still loads of other options available.

Losing interest
May 2, 2017

About 6 months ago, Netflix was an amazing thing for me. I've had an account with them for years. But they are losing more and more shows that I really enjoy. Including house m. D., everybody loves Raymond, Bob's burgers, keeping up appearances, attack on titan, myth hunters, and I keep Losing seasons of American dad! I don't want many shows. But those were the shows I watch... I'm considering moving to hulu.

People I know seem to like Netflix. I find the movies it offers a bit below exceptional most of the time. I've seen so many top notch films that perhaps I'm a bit picky. However... I also was repeatedly charged their standard fee for a year in spite of the fact that I called them repeatedly to cancel and never used the service after two weeks. The payment finally stopped being deducted from my card but I was not given a refund. A small amount of money taken (it's a lot to me though) and if this is an occurrence that is repeated with others it adds up. Your choice but I chose HBO now.

Charged twice a month
August 10, 2022

I found out through my banking app that Netflix had been charging me twice a month for thirteen months and when contacted they would only refund one month. Not worth the hassle there is cheaper options out there.

I really like that Netflix does not have to buy content separately or upgrade a subscription (like many online cinemas) to watch something new or hype. Those. No matter which subscription you choose, the content will be the same everywhere. You can use it from your phone, computer, tablet, and Smart TV. The apps are well optimized for different devices. If you scroll down, then Netflix offers a bunch of collections for different genres. In addition, it offers to watch what has already begun, or revise what has already finished. Can also personally recommend something based on my views.
I definitely recommend you try this service. Moreover, there is a free trial period, during which you yourself will understand whether you want to use it constantly.

Is there no limit to what your platform is prepared to show. Seriously? You're all quantity and no quality. Dubious shady titles with equally below the belt picture titles. Offensive. Any more of this trend then calling it quits. Hopefully others will follow.

Netflix has a very wide variety of content, and it may not always have the best selection, but there is always a movie or show you can find to kill time.
If I could do anything, I'd add a chat or comment feature. Especially when episodes release weekly, it'd be nice to see what other people who just finished watching it thought.
Anyway point is, as long as you can afford it or share it with a family/friends, I think it's worth

I love Netflix! Thousands of movies, new releases every day! Easy to search and save your own line up. The ap is also great at recommending movies based on what you watch. So many TV shows to Binge watch. I find it easier than on demand. Seasons and episodes are perfectly organized!

Netflix sucks
November 5, 2017

Netflix sucks. There are very few movies and tv series that gets an A rating. Taking off good classic tv series and replacing them with gum shows. For example "Glow "about an out of work actress who turn to women's wrestling and "full house reboot" just down right boring. And they took off Quincy & Murder She Wrote. Netflix will loss Marvel Tv series & Star War movies if these shows leave others will follow, the bad part there are only few good shows on Netflix. But they charge me for adding extra people on my account this is how bad they need revenue.

We used to really love Netflix. They took out our favorites, Coach, Last Man Standing, Murder She wrote, Columbo, Leverage, and other classic movies. They are putting so much foreign speaking movies, mediocre and they own produced movies/shows. I can name only few movies that is worth 5 starts. Shows that I never heard of, actors that you never seen before, movies that need to really read the caption while watching. What is wrong with you. We are thinking of removing this from our home and go somewhere else. I know it is cheap compare to getting those other subscription. This is were the saying "you got what you paid for". I think this is what Netflix goal now, to give their consumers the very cheap as possibly they can.

This company was smart and innovative from the get go. I should have bought stock back then when I was thinking about it.
Smart menu operations, categories, reviews, excellent algorithm to tell you what you may like to watch based on your reviews of movies you review. Always review your movies, the service is just great for giving you more titles.

Site rarely goes down or buffers.
A total bargain at 8/month.

They can come up with some good selections, all are very old with nothing new added. Netflix series do catch attention but not all of us want to view online series. And when I have viewed some movie or a series, why still show that in recommendations?

We went overseas for about 3 months, when we came back, the same new releases were still there, no new anything really except for some movies in other languages nobody has heard of here.
They used to be great, but now, not worth it
I like to watch documentaries and have watched almost every single one that interest me, and they have put 5 new ones in the past year. Sorry, but this is not a great thing Netflix, not worth what you charge me each month to keep watching the same videos over and over.

I'm not going to lie, I don't pick through my Credit cards for every charge. I know I should but my entire life is charged on 1 card, so unless it's a bigger charge I don't really pay attention. However because it was recent I noticed a charge from Netflix. I cancelled my Netflix account March 2023. That was the last month that ever should have been charged to me. I searched my credit card and found that I have been charged since May 2023. I called Netflix and they explained to me that my account was compromised and they changed the account information but used my card. I would assume that they would refund me my money as they could see that the account was hacked after I closed it. However that's not the case. He told me on the phone that he could only refund the latest payment and I would have to go through my bank to dispute the charges. My bank told me they can only go back 3 months. So I reached out to Netflix via chat to see if they had a fraud department or anyone that could explain to me how someone was able to change my account after I closed it. She sent me a link to show me how to make sure my account was secure. Once my account is closed, isn't security their issue? Shouldn't they remove my credit card information if my account is closed? They allowed over $300 to be charged to my card and won't give me any information or help. I did a little bit of a search and it looks like a lot of people have had issues with Netflix charges. But where do you go when their not willing to take care of their customers and their credit card information?

😂
January 20, 2024

Wrote a descriptive review. Tried clicking submit and 4 different adds popped up.

Initially I was saying that didn't really like that the payment is more per screen, can't use the login on other screens (that are already paid for) and the service works 40% of the time…

We love it!
October 8, 2015

We don; t even bother with broadcast or cable TV at our house. We can rent DVDs or stream pretty much anything that's worth watching for a few dollars a month. And it is simple to go in and change your plan anytime you want to.

Netflix content is abysmal. Most of their content consists of a lame collection of documentaries, C grade movies or 25 year old B grade movies peppered throughout multiple categories like "Recently added", "Trending Now", "New Releases", and "Popular on Netflix". You're likely to see the same movie listed in each of these categories. Did I mention a significant portion of these movies are foreign and require reading the movie!. Netflix is mostly about expanding its business globally and providing the lowest level of content required to maintain its subscription base.

Aside from the lousy value to its customers, I believe its competitors will put this dog under.

It used to be good. I don't understand why they have shows that are incomplete. It's not like the show is new, it's from the 2000's so why? Did the author only let you have a certain amount of episodes? And now with this BS greedy business model to suck more money for a wiped toilet paper come on Netflix do better. Not to mention the categories that are abandoned (literally no new titles).
