I found no appreciable difference between no NerdWax & after NerdWax was applied.
It didn't work for me, very disappointing
I love my $10 sunglasses from Forever 21 - so I don't expect a great fit every time. Nerdwax was the answer for running outside, even in the hot florida sun! Not to mention general day to days like driving and just enjoying the outdoors. Love this product.
Nerd wax is not all natural, It contains a glue product that made my nose swell up to the size of a baseball, covered in dermatitis. $100.00 for the doctor appointment. Along with 10 days of prednisone. Costing me $135.00, and 2 lost days of work. My daughters wedding is this week and it's still red and peeling. Because this product clearly makes contact with your skin, there should be a warning. It should also have a patch test requirement. I will contact the food and drug next to report this. It should be considered a cosmetic, and have to be approved by the FDA. Don't use this product.
I was about to get rid of my glasses, and get a pair with the ugly rubber pieces. I don't know why but my new glasses annoyed me more than any other pair. Nerd wax saved them and me. It's working good so far. Just have to carry it in my purse, and apply 2 to 3 times a day.
I bought one tube of Nerd Wax. I was getting tired of sunglasses slipping down my nose. Worked great the first time, but then I used it again and the sides of my nose became all red and itchy! Clearly disappointed as I was hoping it would work really well for me to continue to use it. I've never had an allergic reaction before as I'm not allergic to anything. Guess my glasses will have to continue to slip down my nose. :(
I used this product and my nose and lower forehead came out in a red swollen itchy rash and its been three days and I am using cortisone ointment and antihistamine tablets and so far it has not gone. I did not see any warning about allergic reactions and feel I have to put this information out there to warn others.

Both my husband and myself have the plastic nose pads on our glasses and I have struggled to keep them where I could see property as I have tri-focals. Once the pads were cleaned and my bridge nose area cleaned, what a difference. Works like a charm. I will ensure that when traveling a tube will always be with us. Not all products are right for everyone, but for us, this is really a good thing. Many thanks guys and Shark Tank.
I wish I would have read these reviews first! I read ingredients prior to purchase and am not allergic to any of them. After using twice I became very itchy in the eye area at work and by the time I got home I looked like i was punched in the nose. All red and inflamed as well as bumpy and itchy! Probably would work good if not allergic though. Bought on Amazon
I was so excited to use this. It works for like 3 minutes and then it's back to normal. It prevents slipping a little bit but the second you adjust your glasses or anything like that, it's game over. Soooo disappointing.
And if you get it in your lenses, there goes the next 5 minutes of your life trying to get it off. And yes, I watched every video. Not great.
Im not sure if its the summer weather in Australia, but it doesnt matter how much I apply or how closely I follow the instructions, within 5 minutes of application the wax has melted off and ends up all over my face. Definitely not something Id use with makeup on, and hasnt managed to make my glasses stay up at all.
I purchased one for me and one for my son. My nose is pretty flat while my son's nose is pretty latge. The nerd wax did NOTHING. For either of our noses. I can not imagine it working on any size nose. All it does is make your glasses dirty.
Hey Lezlie... Bummed you haven't had the usual awesome nerdwax experience we're used to! Did you get a chance to watch our Application Tips Video? That should help... if not just let me know and I'll shoot you a refund! Thanks Don
Saw this on Shark Tank and wanting to support my fellow Nashvillian neighbors, I purchased some Nerdwax. Had an initial, minor issue with slipping until I checked out their helpful (and humorous) video offering various tips on proper application (I'm female so I don't mind "asking for directions"). This is a gem of an idea; I'm super happy with my Nerdwax and I wish the cute couple creators the very best of luck!
I applied to my glasses as directed and wore for about 4 hours and started to itch on my nose and my inner eyes so I removed my glasses and washed them off and put coldclorh on face to help with itching. Kept getting worse. Swelling and itching and got bumpy. I used cortisone cream and took Benadryl. It stayed this way for 3-4 days. Now flaky and red with little swelling 5 days later.
Hey Jackie,
So sorry to hear that! If you shoot us an email thenerds@nerdwax.com we'll make sure you get a refund.
Saw the product on Shark Tank and I had my order placed before the pitch was complete. I love it. Today I'm wearing frames that I haven't worn in weeks because they are so loose that they completely slip off my face if I do something like bend over to tie my shoe.
After a couple of hours I do notice some slipping again, but I just reapply. Easy.
Pros: Works for maybe a couple hours in mild climates with low humidity. Otherwise worthless.
Cons: After 3 weeks my nose is redder than Rudolph's. Also very itchy. Goodbye Nerdwax.
It works to keep your glasses in place but wouldn't you know it I was one of those one in a million people allergic to it. My nose got red, swollen and bumpy. Shoot.
This is quite a novel product, the idea is simple - it's a wax that you apply to the bridge of your glasses which is supposed to stop them slipping down your nose.
When I first tried it it seemed to work really well, it set as you would expect a wax to do and seemed very effective at stopping the glasses slipping. However after using it for a week or so I'm not so sure, it does have a few flaws.
For a start it takes a while to set, so if your glasses slip before it sets then this obviously messes it up a bit. Secondly it does wear off after a while, so you either need to reapply it or only use it for a short time - eg if you use it when going jogging then it might be OK.
There are a couple of other problems also though, for example if you go out in the rain and then need to take your glasses off to clean them then you break the wax seal when you take them off. I also find it just doesn't seem to work sometimes, I don't know if this is through not applying it as well or maybe moving my head about more or something else but whatever it is the effectiveness is inconsistent in my experience.
The main thing is though that if your glasses are slipping you should really go and get them tightened up, and then they'll fit properly! That said if for whatever reason you can't do that I would recommend trying this, it's probably quite subjective as to how well it works for different people and the product does seem to be made with the best intentions, who knows with more development maybe they'll make better versions in the future.

It lasts a very short time, then the glasses are back to slipping and the wax is gone. Purchased after seeing on Sharktank. So disappointed...
IT DOESN'T WORK, MY GLASSES HAVE NOSE PADS. IM DISAPPOINTED, THESE ARE NEW GLASSES AND HAVE BEEN A PAIN TO STAY ON. WENT BACK WHERE PURCHASED FOR ADJUSTMENTS AND NEW PADS IN 3 WEEKS. WAS HOPING NERD WAX WAS THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM. NOT...
