Unable to give a complete review, except to say, that the plants or trees i ordered came in a short period and were in good shape... have been planted and appear to still be alive. Given the review i have read post purchase,... will wait to see if trees make it before purchasing any other product. VRS
Ordered a Hazelnut (Filbert) plant from Nature Hills Nursery. The plant arrived within the time frame promised and was in excellent condition. I, also, have to note that the packaging was incredible. I don't think a nuclear blast could have damaged the contents!
I have purchased several trees of different variets and have had great luck with all of them. The Black Hills spruce came as promised and are beautiful! I have had nothing but good experiences with this company over two years.

This is the first time I have bought plants and shrubs online, and I was a little skeptical. But NatureHills was so easy and delivered beautiful, healthy plants, one of which flowered on time shortly after it arrived and was planted in my yard
3 months after I paid for hydrangea they sent me infected plants and wonts give a refund. Stay away.
This tree came FedEx, and it was a beautiful tree about six feet tall, well packaged, very pleased with this tree and company
Plants arrived well packed, easy to plant. All in good shape, highly recommend. 3 months later, plants in good shape, growing fine!
I ordered two plants on 6/29/20, did not receive it. I emailed them on 7/16/20 and was told the delay was due to weather condition. Now 9/23/20, I still have not received any plants or the booster that was recommended. And now my credit card requested a refund on my behalf and Nature Hills wants to charge a 10% handling fee when they've done nothing and shipped nothing after three months. Oh and on Nature's website's customer review section the fine print stated "your review may not be posted". So they only post good reviews. If you want true reviews about this company, do not rely on their own website, go to 3rd party review sites.
I had purchased hundreds of dollars in shrubs and trees, then received a dead pawpaw tree... no roots, just a dead stick. Sent photos immediately, was told to wait two weeks, still no growth. Told to wait two more weeks, still no growth. Then customer service told me they were not responsible for how it was shipped or how I treated it (it was already dead when I got it). Told me that I would have to pay 50% of the price to replace it. That is nothing but theft. DO NOT BUY FROM NATURE HILLS NURSERY.
Plants were shipped well packed and in great condition. Thank you nature hills bursery! Will buy more in the future!
I ordered two young trees, and planted this summer. Both arrived on time and in excellent shape. The sycamore tree has already put on height, and the eastern pine (much smaller) is established and thriving. I will shop here again.
They were great until i had an issue. Trying to get them to stand by their warranty is absolutely ridiculous. They keep giving me the run around, and were barely responsive. I have been constantly emailing for months and the resolution costs almost as much as the initial purchase. Honestly its not worth the headache. Their prices are pretty high you would think that comes with good customer service. Dont bet on it. And dont rely on that warranty

The tree was dead on arrival... They took no responsibility for it! Even though it took over a week to arrive they refused to replace or refund.
I have had bad experiences with purchasing woody shrubs and trees through on line sellers before so I was skeptical when I ordered my plum trees from Nature Hills this year. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with the healthy vigorous trees that arrived. They have been in the ground for 3 months now and are doing great. I would definitely purchase plants again from Nature Hills.

I ordered four plants in 5/17/20 to avoid shopping during Covid. It took a week between shipment and arrival about 5/30/20. One of the plants arrived and looked like it had been trying to grow in the dark with long spindly yellow branches and brown dying leaves. I planted all the plants adding miracle grow soil and compost. The sick plant tried to grow some leaves but the spindly stems wilted and the plant just started dying. I contacted the company asking for a replacement on 7/15/20 and * said he thought the plant would make it and give it some more time. I contacted him again 8/5/20 once it was completely dead and * only offered a 50% credit on that plant and would not offer free shipping to replace it. My 3 other plants are doing fine and this plant was clearly not healthy. This is substandard service. Don't buy plants from this company. It's not worth it.

I have ordered a few different plants from natures hill and have always received a great product each time. Any questions I had were answered promptly and that goes a long way. Legitimate site, will order from them again.
Until my recent experience I have had good luck with purchases from this seller. However, my last order came partially dead. I let them know this and they suggested that I water it to see if it would revive. I did that but the shrub very quickly died and a had a brown ball. When I reported this I was given some nonsense about zone. In fact, I have a dwarf conifer border and every single other plant in it is thriving. I have sent pictures. Now they are not responding to me at all.
We received the tree s few days later due to the pandemic and FedEx delivery delays. We opened the incredibly well package and found a very happy, healthy tree! It went into the ground the next morning and looks to be on its way to living happily ever after! We're thrilled with the tree! Thank you so much!
