An excellent rental experience from pick up to return. The only inconvenience is the temporary long walkway from the counter to car pick up because of all of the construction at Wilmington airport. The relatively long walk to the car could be a problem for anybody with mobility problems.
The rental was great, but the local team member who processed my return in the garage was incredible! I can't recall his name, but I forgot my cell phone in the car and he ran up to catch me at security because he knew I was rushing to my flight. He was awesome! Friendly, helpful, thoughtful and went way above and beyond. I think his name was Bill or Billy. He's an excellent example of superior customer service.

I received a clean, new, large SUV, which I needed for my family of five, with luggage. Both check in and check out were seamless.

Car was not clean. Windows, side mirrors, back window and camera lenses were all dirty. Also found an empty energy drink can under the front passenger seat. Inside was marginally clean. Dirt tracks in back cargo load floor from luggage wheels.

Become a member, the process is so easy from start to finish. Car quality is very good and returns are very quick if you happen to be running late. With the exception of state and local taxes jacking up the price of the car, the cost for 7 days was reasonable. Taxes raised the price over $100, go Kathy Hochul!

I showed up to check if Fleet had reserved a vehicle for me. They had not. I was told by Kendric to go ahead and call Fleet. I was on the phone with them for over a hour. This was 30 plus minutes past their closing. I kept apologizing and they told me no problem. When it finally went through, they got me into a vehicle fast. When I returned the vehicle, it was done quickly.

The vehicle shook/shakes.
A one way rental. From PA to NC.
The vehicle reaches above 65, and continues to vibrate/shakes. It did this the entire time 9 hour trip.
As for me, this will never happen again.
I will turn around the vehicle and ask for a refund. And spend my money somewhere else. I promise, this is my last issue I will ever have with this company. My last 2 rentals, including this one. Not even close to a 3 star rating.

Man I had a drop off time off 12 pulled up at 11:50 and the young light skin man lock the doors told me to go to another location and I would indeed be charged for another day…. Terrible customer service

Great service start to finish! Extremely pleased with car selection and service! As an executive member, walking through a long airport after a long flight, the last thing you want to do is hassle at a rental car desk. All I had to do was walk to the lot, show my confirmation number and BAM! Pick the car I want! That really helped! Friendly people and great service! Couldn't have asked for more!

Car selection for executive members was not very good. I understand it was thanksgiving week but choice of cars was not very good. I love using national. Very fast usually getting through the process of renting a car, and all of that was really good as usual. Just expected a bit better car selection process this time around.

Well don't leave your AirPods inside the car when you return it. I understand it's my fault for leaving them, but I also think that National Employees would be smart enough not to take things that can be traced!
