I was trying to learn about the wholesale real estate business, and this site helped me get started. Search properties, make connections, and free learning materials. There are a few premium options for the experienced investor, but not required to just use the site.
Very outdated information. This service is not worth the money for the information they advertise. I know for a fact that the property was sold three years ago and it shows like "available". Moreover, there are a lot of people listed that have no relation to this property. You can find more on Google so don't waste your money.
Complete waste of time and money. Their listings are old and outdated. Their information shows "available", but when you drill down you learn that the property was sold 2-3 weeks earlier. I paid for the "Premium" upgrade, supposedly to get the listing 14 days earlier than the free listings, but these were the same. At least one listing I was interested in was posted on June 2, and then sold on June 22. It showed up on their website and was still listed as "available" on July 22, a month later. I contacted the customer service department and they said they have a strict no-refund policy, so I guess even if you get bad information from them you're stuck.
This is a waste of time and money.
The problem I see many property owners that has been sold for the last 6 months and shows active, as an investor i do not see why the system does not have control of that staff, please look into this issue.
The site felt and looked terrible. A lot of the info was incorrect. The pages were full of ads, which is a huge red flag because if they were actually providing value they wouldn't need to sell all of this crappy and distracting ad space on their site. Cancelled my premium membership immediately. My only offer to them would be to allow me to try it for at least 3 months for free to see if it can make up for it's lackluster first impression.
80% of the properties around Atlanta show as having the same "owner" name on this website, which is weird, and that "owner" never returns a vm, or text, or email. According to county records, the person that "owns" each of these properties is never the person listed on this website. I paid for the upgrade, but the information is not accurate and half the time the maps on each listing is not even correct.
Thru this site, I was able to go see actual homes that other flippers researched and put up for sale. Most of them needed work; but with a contractor with me one time who was able to estimate a reasonable rehab fee, we knew we could make $ with the property once it was rehabbed. I just didn't have the EMD to tie up the property. But I learned a lot. One time I saw how one flipper put up a property for auction during a scheduled open house. He literally did no work on it, and yet the investors were bidding on it, I guess because it was reasonably priced.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY SUCK AND ALL THEIR INFO IS INACCURATE! WEBSITE LAGS AS WELL. I PULLED A CASH BUYER LIST FOR A TARGETED CITY/STATE NOT 1 PERSON SAYS THEY INVEST IN THAT MARKET> STAY AWAY!
Answer: You can call but you get put on an endless loop of a person telling you to wait for the next available customer service rep that never picks up. So you have to leave a message.
Hello Robert,
My name is Justin. I'm part of the marketing team here at MyHouseDeals.com. I just wanted to reach out and apologize that your experience with us wasn't as good as you had expected. Thousands of users find great value in MyHouseDeals and the services we provide on a daily basis. So, when we miss the mark with one of our members, we're disappointed.
The problem you encountered pops up occasionally because some site listings on the website are updated and maintained by the property owners themselves or their representatives, and sellers aren't always diligent in updating their listings in a timely manner. We have a process in place to follow up with them regularly and maintain the status of listings up to date, but some fail to update us.
All MyHouseDeals members start as free members for life and can upgrade to Premium only after they've experienced MyHouseDeals to make sure it offers them the information and features to support their investing. We do this so you can try the service before you ever have to pay for it. For this reason, we have a limited refund policy. Please let me know if I can help you further or answer any questions.
Best regards,
Justin
