I have purchased from Monoprice last year without any issues. I just purchased a subwoofer and the carrier service indicated that the address is incorrect and they would return my item to Monoprice. I called Monoprice customer service and they indicated that they will refund my money and to use a different carrier when I resubmit my order. To use a different carrier would be twice as much. I asked if they could just cross-ship the item so I would not have to wait for my item to be returned to them and then submit a new order. They indicated no. I asked if they could reach out to their carrier CSO and remedy the issue in regards to my address. They indicated no. I also indicated that they have delivered to the same address successfully last year and if there was anyway to work out the issue on the phone. They stated no. I just want my subwoofer before Thanksgiving.
Don't overpay for your cables. HDMI often cost a ridiculous amount. Monoprice is the best site I've found to buy any cables. They even have cables that work with apple hardware/devices at a fraction of the cost that Apple would charge.
Monoprice was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable with our new 3D printer. They resolved a frustrating software issue in a matter of seconds and gave us great tips for future projects.
I bought a high end hdmi cable from Monoprice almost a year ago. I recently had problems with video intermittently dropping signal to my 4k projector and pin-pointed the cause to the cable. I went online to their website and chatted directly to customer service concerning the problem I was experiencing. Monoprice quickly issued me a rma and shipped me a replacement cable. I am very impressed at how they handled the issue. The process was easy and convenient. Even easier than initially purchasing the cable. I will buy all my cables from Monoprice from now on because they stand beside their products.

I've placed an order for a pair of 150$ headphones, free shipping in the U.S. 50$ shipping for me. Expensive shipping but I bought it. It was supposed to come withing one week.
About a week later I got a message from UPS. They said I needed to pay 40+$ in fees in addition to taxes (about 20$). When I called to inquire they said monoprices agreement with them did not cover the entire shipping cost. Nobody said I was expected to pay more for shipping to a total of 90$.
I refused to pay, monoprice refused to take responsibility for this fraud.
And all I ended up with is time wasted and a bad experience.
If you plan to place an order and you live outside of the U.S. I'd advise you aginst that - just use Ebay or Amazon at least there the sellers are accountable.

I received the product on time in excellent shape and the company kept in constant contact with me to make sure I received my merchandise even thou I was also receiving tracking text messages of the mailing and delivery progress.

Over the years, I have made multiple purchases from Monoprice. I have never had any issues with any of their products until just recently. A 4k HDMI cable that I bought 3 years ago started having real issues with displaying any video. The audio worked perfectly however. I logged into my Monoprice account, and reviewed my orders until I found this particular purchase. I noticed that there was a "return" button available on this item. I selected it, and after filling out the reason for the return, I submitted it. I didn't expect that it would be honored since the cable was out of warranty. Much to my surprise, not only did I receive a brand new replacement cable very quickly, but I wasn't even required to return the defective one! I was already a Monoprice customer because of their quality, selection, and prices. But now, they have completely won me over with their excellent customer service!

I've been a customer since the beginning (2002?) I've always had a good experience until this last year. I've had to reorder several parts as they incorrectly sent the wrong items. I've been trying to get them to send me a missing piece for a fireplace mount for +3mo and they've sent me the wrong item twice. They fail to reply to email and the wait time for customer service is terrible. Most of the time you wait for 20mins and the line drops. I've tried everything to resolve the issue but they don't seem to care.
Over the years I have bought products from them but their RMA policy will screw you in the end.
I bought a 4K monitor that was promoted by 9to5 and it arrived, I installed it and threw out the box thinking it will work. It was defective. One of the reasons I bought from them was overnight shipping.
It took them 5 days to issue a RMA. Unlike Amazon, they refused to send a replacement and then refund if I sent back the defective one within 30 days. I asked for a box. They said no.
Then lost my business, forever.
I have been ordering from Monoprice for many years now mainly for small computer or audio/video products and accessories for various projects I undertake around the house. Their products are consistently of good quality and really good prices as compared to most other online or retail stores. Their standard shipping is reasonable price and typically takes 3-6 days via USPS for small parcels but they do also use UPS and FEDX depending on the quantity or size of the order. I find their website is easy to use and their products are identified by a unique Product Id called PID which makes it easy to search on items. Highly recommended to keep this business in mind for all your cable and accessory needs but they have expanded in recent years to include a fully array of tech products and even offering name brand items.

My first 3d printer from a large recommended manufacturer was just a hassle. And the tech support was nowhere to be found (and that was after searching long and hard to find a tech support phone number that in order to get that, you had to register, but the registration website did not work)... needless to say... that 3d printer was returned but before I bought a new one, I tried calling tech support of multiple 3d printer companies. Monoprice was a clear winner. Not only did they have a published support phone number, but they actually answered the phone within 2-3 minutes, the sound/clarity was superb (no cheap digital background call center noise), and the tech support spoke English clearly. I didn't even have a Monoprice 3d printer yet, but I knew their tech support was available, clear, and courteous. I ordered a 3D printer and a few days later it came in mail. I had it set up and was printing within an hour. Over the next month, my son and I printed multiple items from gifts, to lego parts, to phone car holders, to even replacing a catapult for my vintage Crossbows and Catapults game. Print after print, we had ease and success. At one point, I could not figure out how a feature worked, and I called tech support and was given an answer within 10 minutes. There are few companies these days where product and customer service both rank high in my opinion. Monoprice is one of those. I'm happy to recommend them and looking forward to doing business in the future.
