There were no instructions on the website, or in the box. Pump burned out in less that 2 hours. Tech support explained that this was to be expected as I wasn't running enough nozzles, or using a pressure bypass. Double checked the website. Absolutely nothing there to suggest that this should have happened.
I paid WAY too much for cheap plastic hoses and very inferior quality misting valves. They produce sputters not mist. All the money was wasted. It should have sold for $5 but that wouldn't even be worth it. No one took the time to see if it was a quality product and I still want my money back. After seeing other similar units in action and their good quality this was a huge disappointment, we looked forward to having this in our back porch last summer but no way.
Thanks, everything went smoothly from viewing the product to purchasing to product arrival and product packaging. The two emails received after a manual order confirmation and processing of shipping confirmation were adequate for record keeping.
I shopped all over the net and found nothing until I found them and they had everything I was looking for. They were able to make special lengths for the misting extensions and it has worked out perfect for my summer needs.
It is a great product at a reasonable price and shipping was fast. The kids love the sprinkler. I look forward to this keeping my pool cooler! I was a little disappointed that the pool removal wrench was not included as it was shown in the picture. I had to buy a separate strap wrench to remove the pool fitting and it was not easy.
I ordered 44 nozzles based not the same model number as my existing nozzles, at a cost of almost $500. I paid several hundred dollars to have them installed on my home for my insect misting system.
When I activated the system the first time, I found they were not dripless and allowed all fluid to run out of the system after pressurization. They looked identical and had the same model number stamped on them as my previous nozzles, but the interior pieces were different.
When I contacted Mist Cooling their rep told me that the manufacturer of that model number changed their design a few years ago, but I could not return them since I had run fluid thru them...once.
He offered not discount or remedy other than to order more nozzles.
I'm very unhappy with the lack of clarification that the same model number was not the same nozzles, so I just wasted about $ 750. Will not be ordering from Mist Cooling again.
Site made ordering easy, had lots of info on what I ordered. Hard to say much else until I recieve the misting system and try it out... Received my order and installed it. Eight of the misting tips didn't work, even though I flushed the system. They did send extra tips, which is a plus, changed the tips out and they all worked. Over all I am happy with my purchase.
I purchased the 1500 psi kit to install on my patio. I wanted to place the pump around the the corner to reduce the noise and needed extra tubing. I had few questions during the installation, good customer service.
I purchased the product online from mistcooling.com I installed this string of misters under the edge of the pergola that runs across the back of the house. A couple dripped, but I replaced those. I set it up with a valve switch I can just toggle on or off. It makes the patio cooler in the hot afternoons of summer.
I have had 2 paddles break. One was replaced under warranty, one was not. I have had to rebuild paddle with metal reinforcement, small bolts and adhesive which last longer than the original part. Paddle design needs thicker section to last longer and not break in half.
Mistcool system has helped save on my power bill. Have experienced only minor problems with system. These include clogged nozzles, cracked water lines to nozzles, and control valve not working. These were easy to fix by removing the nozzles and washing them in an ultrasonic cleaner that I use for cleaning my wife's jewelry, replacing the plastic water lines with new line purchases at Lowe's, and spraying the control valve with WD-40 and working the small push lever with needle nose pliers until it worked properly. I would suggest supplying longer control valve to nozzle water lines with your units. I could not mount the flapper in the center of my unit because of the louver configuration. I had to mount it off to the side and had to add additional length lines to 2 of the nozzles. Not much of an issue for some but could be for others.
I question the advertised flow rates for the nozzles advertised. I suggest you include the method used to obtain the flow rates listed as well as fluid velocity at the nozzle as that can affect decisions regarding nozzle orifice size.
I didn't want to give a star to you. We returned your item and you didn't refund the money to us. You told us that you didn't get the items. We lost tracking paper what we returned back the items. I don't believe you that you didn't get the returned items. We return some items online, they pay immediately. You did cheating us. Don't buy anything from them, they are liar.
Installing the system was easy. I built a custom wood strip out of Cedar to hide the tube so it looks great and will be nice to use on the new Lanai. I built it in St. Petersburg FL, so it gets hot in the summer and i want to use the Lanai year round. Without the misting system, it is just to hot out there.

Information from speaking to Rep on phone was invaluable. As I have just received my order and it has not been plumbed in or in use, I can only say that it arrived promptly and in good condition and I expect that it will perform to the level that I was assured it would.
I love my misters! Unfortunately all of the nozzles did not work properly. I followed directions explicitly and they still did not spray properly. Would love to have some that work as I live in Florida and use them often.
We purchased this item for our RV awning to add a tropical feel. The nosels that were installed didn't work no matter what we did to clean them. Luckily it came with some extras that did work. You must pull the tubing taught so the misters don't move which we did with a few small bungies. It works great and we love them! We received lots of compliments. Wish we could've gotten ones with 6 misters instead of 4. We would definitely recommend this product!
