Initially it seemed to be inconvenient, but I got adjusted to microsoft store quickly. I download themes for my desktop, install all crucial applications in a blink of an eye. If we compare installation process when you download something from the net, then it's far slower. So, I'm glad using it and can't understand those scolding it.
I came back for holiday and I found my app gone for no reason. I tried uninstalling and installing it but it said "something happened on our end" and it keeps asking for microsoft edge's latest download! Come on, I have microsoft edge (latest version downloaded) but it still does not work! What else does this thing WANT! WHY THIS THING?! I pay good money for good apps, not ones that don't work. I WANT MY DISNEY + BACK NOW!
I have been going back and forth with Microsoft products and apple products with the pc. I will continue to have an apple product for certain things and Microsoft for some.
I hate your Windows 10 so much! It searches for updates all the time and my laptop doesn't work!
Chrome opens during ten minutes! Is it normal?
Third-party companies are ruin ruining the reputation of Microsoft and other major companies particularly with drivers which you need to keep your computer up to date they are allowing these third-party companies to access your information your data and generally these apps and drivers are not credible. There are technicians that ask you to get into your computer and then they offer you high rate prices to fix things in the name of Samsung Microsoft and other companies these big companies need to track these sites shut them down and direct people to their website to download information and get drivers these third-party companies are nonsense they need to be stopped and we should not be paying for drivers that should be available on the site you bought your device from. I am well-versed on the internet but there are many people that are not and these big companies like Microsoft are destroying computers by allowing third-party companies to invade computers phones that were purchased from Microsoft Samsung I could go on and on enough fix it
Called MS service, hard to understand with the very heavy accent, not sure what she said half the time.
Went to the very big impressive MS store at Mall of America, made an appointment for computer check-up. The guy was in a great hurry, talked very quickly, not really sure what he did, so fast, only once did he look directly at me, most of the time he was staring at the ceiling. I was scheduled for a twenty-minute app. That lasted seven. As I was waiting I looked around at a few items, all were very expensive, guess they have to pay for the Hugh store, and the six or so salespeople, not ITs, only four of them, maybe thats why the IT was in such a hurry.
His is for an online purchase, not a physical store but this seems to be the only location to make a comment: As of three days later the order still says "in process" for something that said nothing about a back order. I contacted customer service and it said it will take four days to even leave their facility. This is an Xbox One solid state system. It will take almost two weeks to receive the system, I see no reason for it to take four days for it to even get packaged and put in the mail in the first place. Disappointing. I will not purchase directly from the store again. It is faster (and in some cases cheaper) to go through another location like Amazon and it has the same warranties. I also received no confirmation of the order. One has to log in to the live account to see that, at least until about four days or so later according to the customer support when they actually ship it, at which point you will get a shipment tracking letter (I don't know for sure as this has not yet occurred). That said, here is what their site claims but does not fulfill: Standard free Arrives in 3-7 business days
Why should we trust someone copying the whole concept from Apple?
Until very recently, I thought MS had reformed and had begun to grasp the concept of customer service, having been burnt, for its previously arrogant and indifferent attitude.
Recently however, I have found Microsoft still has its "firewall" to act as a barricade to consumers. Replies to MS emails go to an address that is unmonitored. Invitations to "contact us" loop back to annoying FAQs - while no email address or on line support is available.
Bought software via the download method. It was not the smoothest purchase of this nature in my memory although I finally got it downloaded and activated. I believe I will stay away from the download method of purchase. I like the good old 'CD in the mail' method.
At Microsoft our mission and values are to help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential.
