Delivery guy excellent - timber straight and nicely wrapped given it was raining - didn't expect it to be wrapped given it was H3 pine and was very very happy
These guys helped me order material for my project, very good service and timely delivery with simple payment's system.
Materials arrived a couple of days after ordering, unfortunately some weather boards were the wrong style but I had no trouble getting changed correct ones delivered
After due diligence and calling the sales team to check availability of stock, placing the order online and then calling again to confirm the order and a delivery time, I traveled to the city to take delivery in the time specified by Canterbury timber. After waiting the 3 hour window, nothing came and no explanation was given. I called to find out what had happened, the gentleman laughed at me 3 or 4 times loudly and proclaimed that they don't have the product in stock, it was never going to be delivered during the time specified and Canterbury timber "NEVER" honors its contracts... leaving me several thousands of dollars out of pocket. (due to loss of ongoing hours to rectify Canterbury timber's spurious behavior. Not to mention the cost of the materials which is about 1/3 of the total deliberate financial damages caused)
Take this experience as you will but I think nothing could possibly be as bad a Megatimber. I am currently suffering ongoing financial losses due to the deliberate behavior of this business.
Got sent 2.4m board - ordered 3m boards they then sent 2x 3m boards to make up the short fall the next day. Great service. Mistakes happen and the team fixed it quickly. Will always keep coming back.
Was very easy to order various timbers on the platform. Delivery was in 3 working days and exactly as asked - we have difficult site access.

Hi Nicholas. So sorry you had this experience. If you could let us know who you spoke to when confirming the order and availability of stock before ordering because the item you ordered is not a product that is generally kept in stock in the quantities you required. Your note on the order actually requested a phone call one hour prior to delivery. My understanding is that our salesperson did offer you a refund when the total amount of skirting was not available.
