Before I even finished my profile I had 12 women saying they love my photo come and meet me blah blah blah blah…then they ask for money… You could just tell it was Bots totally fake. I'm a computer technician and I'm telling you it did not look or feel even close to real

All negative comments are true. 7/17/2021 I decided to get my feet wet for the first time with online dating, saw Meetsville ad on Facebook and gave it a try. You register, get messages and matches with bots/fake profiles, you pay subscription to reply, aaaaaand... They never reply to you back. Lesson learned, listen to other comments and read reviews before signing up for these sites. I already have low self-esteem and this site just made it worse. Thank you reviewers for warning me and shame on Meetsville for making business by takingg advantage of people. Cold hearted world we live in.

After seeing their ad numerous times on Facebook, I hesitantly decided to join. I got a message immediately from a woman who I personally know from my city. I texted her and asked if she had sent me that message and she said that she has not logged onto Meetville since early 2016... My join date was mid December 2021. The membership prices are misleading and advertised to be per week, but they charge you for all of it upfront. So when I joined for free I got over a dozen messages without contacting anyone, but since paying zero. I am an attorney and have started the process of a class action lawsuit against Meetville. After 2 days of 1 month subscription and submitting messages to 30 members, they deleted my account and told me scamming activity was detected and just took away my money for free! Be warned this is a scam app! Most profiles are generated and not real. You will find some people in your country while it's impossible for them to be there. All appear to be online and I bet you they haven't been online for like a month!. Chat has nothing but ugly text interface. No video msgs, no audio messages, just pure text! I never got a reply to any of the 30 messages I sent while 90 percent of them were online and winked to me. Didn't even receive one message! I'm still in the process of trying to get a refund from these scammers. Be warned. And just to finish this review, this app is enlisted in the app store with an individual person seller name! Well, wish I knew that before!

When i first signed up, like many people here i had all sorts of women immediately messaging me. Some messages you could obviously tell were from a bot while others were more convincing. I actually found a few that i recognised and/or have met in real life so i figured it can't be a scam. Once i subscribed literally 0 messages. I have messaged about 20 women, and not a single response. But heres the strange thing, off the start i got all those messages, and even one said they liked my profile, but yet it says my profile has 0 views. HHHMMMMM. Strange no? Also i have contacted a couple that i did recognise and asked them if they saw my message on Meetville, and they both said that they DELETED their profiles long ago as they had ZERO people message them back as well. Not only is Meetville scamming, but they continue to use your picture and profile information even after you quit the service. Scary stuff if you ask me.

This company is a Fraud, I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau today. While you are looking you receive tons of messages the minute you sign up it's a ghost town. If you have been scammed I suggest you do the same thing. If you have not signed up, run and don't look back. These people need to be ashamed of themselves.

On New Year's Day I wrote down the qualities of my dream man (as a task from a goal reaching marathon), and a hundred percent did not expect to find one. At least not so soon and not so perfectly matching everything! I immediately felt at ease with Mark, even shared my dream of a trip around the world someday. And on the first date he took me to a restaurant called de Paris, as the beginning of our journey. Sooo cute and romantique.
So you see, I'm biased and can hardly write about any Meetville pitfalls, as I found my happiness here. Just many many thanks

Been on there for one month, went paid after one week just to try, what I've noticed is a lot of women are actually inactive and the site uses the inactive accounts to message you to get you to pay, my proof is that I contacted a girl with her Snapchat link(it was right in her description) and said she forgot she had an account on there when she made it six month ago, this was followed by a quick nude asking me to pay for more.

Another underhanded thing they do is more just a way to trick your mind, but the show a cheaper price but it's per week (only allows you to pay in months) and ends up being about the same price as other services.

Before I paid I had 10 matches in a week without even looking, after I paid I only had 1 match and it was somebody 20 years older than me and 15 years over my maximum age.

I total three service just wasn't good, none of the accounts around my age are really active due to the paywall, and they really do just straight up lie to get you to pay.

Meetville dating site has tons of con artist, includeing what locks to be some allowed by Meetville. I was contacted well over a dozen times by women saying I had to pay and be cleared on another site or immediately be fined. I was never fined so I call that a con or scam. I contacted meetville because the same person I had reported and blocked sent me another scam. Meetville said they were not scammers and had unblocked this person. Be sure to turn off any future way meetville can charge another month or they will even if you've deleted your account.

I paid $79.99 for the subscription. After paying for the subscription, I started getting lots of winks. I even came across a few people that I knew on the website. None of which who stated they signed up for the site. I cancelled a few days after, and no refund was issued. Please save your money! I should have checked the reviews first! Do not spend the money on this site! It is nothing but a SCAM! They should be ashamed of themselves for having something like this! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

First of all it's a scam app, just designed to pull money out of you with a fake app with fake profiles generated with other peoples details.
Also it's a rubbish app if you ask me, like yeah it's quick and easy to use.
However it lacks the simpe thing of giving a good global overview of your own page to see if everything is the way you wanted and what another person would be looking at when going onto your page. Also everything has to be paid for. And if i felt like paying 30 bucks a month for a date site/app i'd look elsewhere for sure.

Not only is this app a complete scam, filled with fake profiles and programmed to misrepresent member's locations, but it will renew your subscription automatically EVEN AFTER YOU CANCEL IT. Apple does absolutely nothing to help. You literally have to remove your payment information on your Apple ID to stop them from stealing your money. I was never able to get a refund when I accidentally subscribed in the first place either, and was now scammed out of $180.

The owners of this app are literally stealing money & committing fraud. Apple should be held accountable for giving illegal scams like this a platform as well. What Apple is doing should be illegal.

Absolutely disgusted with Apple over this and how they handle things like this.

The whole thing is a racket..

This is the best dating/hookup site out there that I know about. It has lately added some ads to the top and bottom of the page, but other than that the buyout by match hasn't changed it.

All for free: you can put up dozens of pictures. You can message whoever you want as much as you want. You can rate each other and be told if you both like each other. You can look for marriage, friends, casual sex and everything in between. You can be a guy looking for a guy, a girl looking for a girl, or anywhere in between - though they don't have an option for a couple profile (yet.)

It really is free and they really do match you with people who answer questions similarly to you. There are a lot of people and the profiles are straightforward and the questions for the profile are easy to read, relate to, and are entertaining. The site matches you with potential matches. It even gives you options of others in your area to the left that you can click on. You can wind WITH A MESSAGE or message... it even gives you info on how often the member responds to notes. In addition, it has instant message capabilities... ALSO FREE. Search options are nice and so is the "Quick Match" function. There are unattractive people as with any dating site, but there are a lot of REAL attractive people as well. I think the site is about the best free dating site I have come across.
